Ra followed Sev quickly, scampering behind her with ease. His long back legs making it easy for him to keep up to the android. He let out a string of excited clicks and grumbles before they slowly turned to more worried ones.
He looked to Sev with a grumble before he glanced back at where they came from; "Will we be able to Escape safely?" A voice echoed through Sev's head as Ra glanced back to her.

Nessa and Feya traded blows with each other before Feya managed to connect her fist with Nessa's jaw, slamming her backwards and into the wall behind her. Nessa hit the wall with a loud crack, the force shaking the wall slightly, she slid down the wall slightly until she was on her knees. There was silence from her as she stayed against the wall, not moving.
"After all of that..." Feya huffed as she walked towards Nessa with a massive grin on her muzzle, "I knock you back just that easily? A shame, you're suppose to be a a body gu-" Before she could finish that sentence, and as soon Ra and Sev got to the doorway to where they were; Nessa suddenly sprung forward, red streaks down her scaled body and her eyes deep crimson red. She slammed her fist into Feya, launching her up through the roof of the building before she stepped forward again and collapsed to a kneel.
Ra moved quickly towards Nessa as she collapsed after fighting Feya. "Mamma!" He barked before he ran around her quickly moving to her bag to try and pull it towards her. "Mamma you gotta be okay! We're gonna escape!"

There was a moment where Sev could’ve sworn that she heard a voice in her head. She glanced over her shoulder to see Ra staring up at her with an expectant gleam in his eye as they ran. There’s no way this creature was communicating with her telepathically. Granted Ra seemed pretty capable for the average rodent but there’s no way he had that type of ability. Maybe Sev had taken a little more damage from the fight with Six than she had assumed. A malfunction on her end was the only logical explanation. Sev continued to make her way, shrugging off whatever system error that was apparently afflicting her. The sounds of their various locomotion echoed off metallic surfaces of the floors and walls. Six could still be heard from the lobby, crying and calling for her Sev. The android’s artificial heart was growing heavy. Sure, Six was a murderous monster but she was Sev’s sister. The only sister that she had left actually. She wasn’t always this morbidly awful. Sev’s heart wanted to go and attempt to talk some sense into her sister but her head was focused on getting out of this place with Nessa alive.
The door to the holding area screeched open as Sev and Ra approached. Instinctually, Sev unholstered her blaster pistol and took aim at…..What was that thing? The monstrosity was only in Sev’s line of sight for a couple of seconds. Her optics attempted to scan the creature and find a match for it in her internal database. There was nothing, which seemed to be a running theme when it came to dealing with Nessa. Whatever it was it actually looked similar to Nessa just more bestial. Before Sev could open fire on this entity Nessa launched herself up from the floor to strike. She hadn’t seen her in this form before. Her scales had turned a frightening shade of crimson. The usual golden energy that radiated from her was the same color as blood, crackling erratically around her body. Sev hadn’t fully processed the transformation before Nessa sent the unknown beast flying through the ceiling with a massive uppercut. She never would have guessed that Nessa possessed such power. It was almost scary. Almost.
Whatever that new form was it must have been a strain on Nessa to maintain it. Seeing her collapse to the floor, Sev sprung into action just behind Ra. She gathered whatever bags and belongings that had been scattered about and shrugged them all onto one of her shoulders before she approached Nessa and gently pulled her up by an arm. She could’ve sworn that she heard yet another disembodied voice echo through her mind. Her new bobbed hair swayed side to side as she shook her head in an attempt to correct whatever component was causing the malfunction. “We don’t have time to waste. On your feet”, Sev ordered.
The ship was literally within their sight now. The Heavenly Body wasn’t exactly all that heavenly to look at. It was a medium sized rusted out cargo ship with a faded and crude depiction of an android pinup painted on either side. At a glance Sev instantly knew the relic was at the very least fifty years old. It’s bulky and spherical design meant that it’s hull was heavily armored or at least that it was supposed to be. However, it also meant that it wasn’t going to break any flight speed records. If they could just make it onboard the vessel Sev was sure they’d be safe. “Nessa we need to go”, Sev tugged gently yet urgently on Nessa’s arm as Ra scampered around their feet. There was no way of telling how much time they had before both adversaries would find them once again.

Nessa gave a small grumble as Ra ran around her, she moved her hand out to try and pat him before Sev grabbed her arm. She blinked slowly before she realized what was happening. She sprang up to her feet and scrambled to get herself back to reality.
She felt the heat slowly fade from her body and her colours slowly returned back to normal before she looked to Sev. "Are you okay? Everything's okay right?" She almost babbled, moving to grab her bag as Ra followed after her quickly. "I'm okay Ra. Mamma's fine." Ra gave a whistle before he looked to Sev with a grin, he looked back to Nessa with a sway of his tail, "I helped Sev! I used a scout bot as a weapon!" Ra said as he bounced around, Nessa blinking and looking down at Ra for a moment before she looked to Sev.
Nessa's eyes locked onto the scoutbot on Sev's belt before she looked at the Ship, moving towards it with a bit of a limp. She knew the battle with Feya wasn't over anytime soon- she had a feeling she would be back, and that's not what she wanted anytime soon.

Feya slammed into the roof of a foodcart, denting it with the impact of her fall. She let out a grumble as she slowly came to and sat up with a whine. She glanced at the streetwalkers stopping to look at her, obviously they hadn't seen a creature like her before.
"What the fuck are you looking at." She hissed before she slipped off the foodcart and sneered at the human owner who moved to yell at her. The owner backed down before Feya looked to the sky and stood in the rain for a moment, feeling the water trickle over her body and over the bruised areas from Nessa's attacks.
"Water... Good." She uttered out loud before she stepped forward and leaped up towards the top of the nearest building, thinking to head it back to the ship depo to find Six and see how everything went.

“Yeah we’re fine”, Sev sighed as she helped Nessa walk. She eyed Ra suspiciously as they made their way across the catwalk to get to the ship’s entrance hatch. Sev was almost certain that there wasn’t a malfunction on her end, this time the creature spoke again but it’s words were in her mind. One would have assumed that Nessa would’ve mentioned this earlier. Although Sev was deeply disturbed and curious about this little secret, they were pressed for time and needed to go. There would be plenty of time for a Ra Q&A session while they were traveling. Sev punched in the general access code once they reached the entrance hatch. The door groaned into action as it folded itself and opened upward. “I hope you can fly this one better than you did the last one”, Sev joked as she ducked into the doorway, “I’m gonna go check the perimeter while you guys get us airborne”. The android dropped their allotted bags in the cramped corridor before squeezing her way through to the rest of the ship.
The interior was cramped to say the least. Sev had to duck in order to move freely or get through most doorways. Hopefully they got in the air soon. This vessel wasn’t designed for potential close combat encounters. The last thing Sev wanted was to have to fight off Six and that monster again. There wasn’t exactly a lot to explore. The cabin that they were supposed to be sharing was significantly smaller with only one cot to sleep on. There was a restroom tucked away in a corner. It was especially tiny with probably about eight feet of space total. Sev slipped inside and took a look at herself in the mirror. She knew Six had cut a bundle of her hair but she hadn’t had a chance to see the aftermath yet. Her hair used to come down to about the middle of her back, now it stopped just beyond her shoulders. There were spots where you could see where her hair had been burned or singed. “Not bad actually”, Sev flipped her hair in the mirror like a model for a moment. She indulged this fantasy for an instant before she continued on her way. The corridors themselves were hardly wide enough for Sev to get through alone. Walking side by side wasn’t going to be a thing on this ship. Some of the pipes that ran the length of the ship for internal support had either been welded or duct taped back together. Sev had been on rigs that were in way worse shape than this thing. She didn’t have a doubt in her mind that The Heavenly Body would hold up. Sev shuffled her way to the very back of the ship where the cargo hold was. The door hissed open and Sev entered with her pistol already drawn and charging. She did a quick scan of the large and empty room. It was easily the largest space on the ship. Florescent lights illuminated every nook and cranny of the empty bay. It was a bit of a relief. Sev had half expected another would be assassin or bounty hunter to charge at her.
She turned and hit the light switch before exiting through the sliding door. It only took a few seconds for her to shuffle back up to the cockpit area where she’d originally left Nessa and Ra. “How are the preparations going”, she asked.

Nessa followed Sev with a bit of a nod, looking towards Ra as they entered the ship. Ra moved quickly and climbed up Nessa's back and sat over her shoulders quietly. Nessa gave a nod at the words Sev said. "I assure you that I can." She laughed before she looked over the controls. As Sev left, Nessa looked to Ra with a small smile before she looked back to the controls.
She pulled some levers and pressed a couple buttons to test things out, before she moved her hands quickly to press buttons and pull levers to start the Ship up. She listened to Sev's footsteps. "We never told Sev..." Ra uttered quietly as he moved to settle on a clear part of the terminal, Nessa gave no response at first as she tinkered with things and got the motor to fully turn over and rumble quietly.
"Theeere we go." She said with a grin, before she turned to Ra with a small frown. "She didn't seem to care about you. I didn't even realize you could link to others like that." Ra moved his paw to give a small wave, "I was afraid that you were almost killed. I had to link to someone else." Ra explained, before he looked back as Sev returned to the cockpit. "All good! The beast should run, won't be too fast but it's pretty sturdy." Nessa started before Ra interrupted. "Mamma won't crash this one this time! Without the Council on our tails we don't have to worry about a shooting!"
Nessa shuddered slightly and moved to lift Ra up gently. She moved to place him on the other side of the console. "I'm sorry about... Not telling you about Ra." she moved to rub the back of her neck, "I didn't know he could link to anyone else.. I'm sorry for the privacy invasion."

Blinding waves of pain ran through Six’s body causing her to thrash and writhe on the floor of the lobby. The bleeding from her shoulder was finally beginning to stop. Her right hand still sizzled with an electrical heat. She could smell the circuits and conduits burning. It was a sickening scent of ozone. Fragments of the down from her jacket gently floated their way to the floor around Six, surrounding her like perfect imitations of snowflakes. Six was unsure of exactly how much time had went by. She sat upright and she was disgusted with the sight of herself. Her mangled hand had been melted down to the black metal material that forms her skeleton. The outfit that she had grown attached to was splattered with her own blue synthetic blood. She was a mess. Shakily she made her way up to her feet, cursing Seven through gritted teeth. The heads-up display that was constantly within her vision was almost blinding her with the amount of notifications and damage reports. How could she let this happen? How could she let an inferior traitor like Seven win? Artificial tears streamed down Six’s face as she struggled through the immense pain and limped forward. She couldn’t let Sev get away. Not when she was so close to getting her revenge.

The Heavenly Body rumbled to life. Sev could feel the engines vibrating underneath her feet. They were that much closer to getting to safety. “Luckily we don’t need it to be fast”, Sev plopped herself down in the co-pilot seat next to Nessa, “We just need it to be functioning”. Sev immediately began punching in the coordinates for their next destination when Ra’s voice rang out in her mind again. She paused slightly before turning to Nessa, “I’m more weirded out than upset. Talking rats are cool and all but I don’t want him in my head”. The android made a small shooing motion towards Ra before she went back to typing coordinates. There was a slight chance that her calculations were off but not by that much. Sev ran a finger over the newly formed scar on her face as she checked and double checked the star charts.
Once she was sure that they had everything in order Sev began the process of lifting the landing gear. Her fingers ran along the console swiftly as she flipped switches and mashed buttons. The ship moaned into motion as the landing gear receded and the afterburners kept them afloat. “It’s all you kid”, Sev whispered as she entered the code to open the canopy of the depot. The canopy doors churned apart with the sound of metal on metal grinding echoing throughout the bay. A cacophony of metallic tapping filled the cockpit from the torrent of rain that was now pelting the ship. Getting up and through the clouds was all that was left. Sev watched Nessa closely, curious and slightly concerned about her piloting skills. Her eyes cast a lazy blue glow over the Star-Born’s body in the dimly lit confines of the Heavenly Body.

Feya was slowed due to her mind screaming at her to stay in the water. She mumbled happily before she stopped near the depo and rolled in a small pool of water for a moment. Her instincts having control for a second before she snapped back to reality and leaped over to the ship Depo, she felt the roof shake as the doors opened, causing her to stumble and shake, falling over onto her face.
She felt a tooth break and come out of place as she pulled herself away, letting out a low hiss as she saw one of her teeth on the roof. She moved to leap through the hole before the ship slowly slipped upwards.

Nessa nodded and moved to pull the ship out of the depo, moving slowly at first as she got it up in the air, before flicking it to go faster. She moved quickly, her eyes locking with Feya's for a moment before she pulled up even more.
"I'm sorry you're weirded out by it." She said before she glanced to Ra, who stepped back as Sev waved at him. He puffed his cheeks slightly, he had helped push back her sister, but he shrugged it off and scampered over to Nessa's bag.
"It gets better when you get used to it." Nessa commented before she glanced to Sev momentarily, "I've been working on a translation collar for him, since I didn't think he could link with anyone but myself and..." She stopped herself short before she shook her head. She turned her attention to the coordinates and moved the ship around to set off to get through the atmosphere. "I'm sorry you had to see that stuff back there... Did you... Hear anything?" She asked as she refused to look away from the windshield.

Feya snarled as she watched the ship get out of her reach, she moved to slip into the building via the roof and landed with a low hiss. She swayed slightly before she collapsed again, heaving slightly.
She felt her instincts start to take over, something from one of Nessa's hit definitely knocked her head momentarily, shocking out the implant she had that kept her instincts from taking control.

Six watched helplessly as the rust bucket that was Sev's escape vessel launched skyward. With a shriek of frustration she pressed herself against the nearest wall and slid down into a sitting position. There was no way that she could even hope to catch up with Sev, especially with the current state of her body. Moisture from the rain overhead began to gather along the floor and walls as Six sat, running simulations of how she could potentially disable Sev's ship. All of them either ended in failure or death. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen. The Council won't be pleased, more importantly her creator would be disappointed. "C-Command", Six stammered into the communicator installed on the wrist that was not destroyed, "Command come in. Scramble the interceptors. The target is a junker attempting to sk-". Her words were cut off by series of static followed by a voice. "Ma'am I'm afraid that the lock down is still in the process of being put into place. We don't have any available interceptors in our fleet currently". Six inhaled sharply as she prepared to hurl orders, insults and threats at whatever desk jockey recruit that was on the other end of her communicator when Feya came lumbering into her view. A brief scan informed the android that her partner had been severely damaged in battle. "Belay that last order, private", Six sighed, "I need medical evac on my position. Priority black". The recruit managed to mumble half of a confirmation before they ended the connection to carry out Six's commands.
With the slightest groan of effort Six pushed herself back onto her feet and sauntered up next to the hulking monstrosity that is Feya. "The hell happened to you", she asked as she surveyed the creature, "If The StarHopper did that then I definitely underestimated what we were up against". Six stood in contemplative silence as the rain continued to pelt and tangle her hair. In a way it almost gave her an even more authentic human look. She gave the junker ship a final look before turning to Feya and giving her a rough pat on the shoulder with her good hand. "Let's go. Our ride will be here soon. We have to get patched up and yelled at". The android continued to walk back towards the lobby. She could already here the drop ship engines in the distance.

The ship depot began to shrink as the Heavenly Body made it's ascent. In about a minute or so the entire city that Sev was beginning to consider home, was reduced to nothing more than a sandy silhouette. Another minute would pass before they broke through the planet's atmosphere. Somehow the duo had managed to stay alive. They were safe. At least for these fleeting moments. Sev watched from over Ness' shoulder as he piloted the ship. Their lives were literally in her hands at this point. From what she could observe Ness was actually quite skilled at flying. She watched as the Star-Born's hands and fingers moved with dexterity and precision across the ship's console. The tension that Sev had been holding onto since her fight with Six was finally beginning to leave her body. Maybe they weren't doomed to crash after all. After a few tense moments of flying, Sev reclined in her seat before propping her muddy boots up on the console. This is probably the most relaxed she'd been since she encountered her new friends. Sev's eyes fell upon the infinite expanse of space before them. Various stars and nebula painted a mosaic over the obsidian canvas. The android had almost forgotten how breathtaking the sights of space travel were. "I didn't hear anything important", she sighed, "But I do feel like I should come clean about a few things". Her vision was focused on the vastness of space in front of them. "Since we're in this thing together I think it's only fair that I'm honest with you, Ness. That android that stopped us in the lobby, that was my older sister. Her primary functions for the Council has always been interrogation and assassination. She was specifically built and designed for those things. Our five other sisters each had their own specialties as well. Anyways, I don't think you should worry about Six. She has a score to settle with me and only me. I know the things that she's done and he things that she's capable of doing. She's.....Ruthless. And it's not that I doubt your skills in combat or anything like that but I think that it would be in your best interest to leave her to me if she pops up again. Our goal is to keep you in one piece and Six will make that significantly more difficult for us". Sev paused for a moment and just listened to the ambient sounds of the ship. "I'm sorry that I kept that from you but it's not easy to tell your new friend that your big sister is a literal murder machine. In the future I'll try to be more transparent with things that will affect the both of us". Sev felt like she was finally starting to get the hang of this whole being social thing. The concept was becoming a little less foreign. Maybe having Ness around would be the practice that she needed.

Feya let out a low, animalistic rumbled growl when Six finally addressed her, her instincts still trying to nip at her normal mind and take over before she lifted her hand to slam the lower side of her neck slightly.
"The little bitch..." She rumbled before she moved to shake her head slowly, "Talking... Hard. Head... Scrambled." She moved to stretch slightly, clacking her jaw together before she turned towards Six as she mentioned getting patched up. She noticed the damage to her 'companion' and furrowed her brow, her tail swayed slightly before she moved to pull off a bit of fabric from off her body and tied it around her snout to stop the smell of blood rushing through her head.
Jesus. Both of our fights seemed to have been pretty crazy. She thought to herself, the knock to her impant trying to fix itself- her bestial brain slowly losing control.

Ness listened to Sev as she spoke, settling into the chair she sat in a bit easier. She heard her bag move slightly as Ra seemed to poke his head out before moving to curl up a little, moving his striped tail over his face to snooze a bit more.
"I understand why you would keep that secret." She started, nodding slowly, "It's not something you would really tell someone you were only just starting to travel with." She hesitated, thinking to herself about what was happening. She moved to press a few more buttons to check the status of everything. She knew she didn't have to do much, but she couldn't just sit down and not check things over, it made her anxious just sitting there.
"I should come clean too, honestly." Nessa started, "It seems this adventure will be one of family fights..." She continued with a bit of a hollow laugh, "Feya is... Well, I should probably tell you who it was that I apparently 'killed'."
She sighed before she pulled up a small projector from her bag, making sure not to wake Ra up. She placed it on her knee and fiddled with the controls slightly. The projector sparked to life after a moment, revealing it was also old-style technology, much like the scoutbots.
The figure that popped up on the projector, the picture wavered slightly- as if static. The Figure was a male, he looked similar to Feya, but he has more of a soft face, and his clothing colours were slightly different. "This was Feya's brother." She started, her face almost expressionless, "He was also my Husband. We... I was his bodyguard, he was pretty high up on the council, and was often seen as a target for a lot of wayward assassins. Saving his life was usually pretty easy; and it's sort of how we fell in love." She hesitated for a second, closing her eyes to stop herself from crying.

The image on the tiny projector looked familiar to Sev. She'd worked for the Council for most of her adult life. However she struggled to place a name with the figure displayed before her. Maybe her lapse in memory could be contributed to corruption in her data base or something technical. She made a mental note to investigate that once they had reached their destination. Nessa seemed visibly upset as she gazed longingly at the holographic image of her late husband. In an effort to comfort her, Sev gently placed a hand on the Star-Born's shoulder. "I'm sorry for your loss Ness", she said, "I know words can't really help with something like this but....I've lost someone very important to me as well. So I know a little about how painful it can be". Although Sev was a mostly artificial being, she was capable of feeling things such as loss and sadness. This was probably one of the first instances where she openly admitted to such a thing though. "But until we get your name cleared, I think the only thing that we have is each other. Well each other and your weird space rat thing". Sev gave the sleeping Ra an accusatory side eye before moving to the ship controls once again. She dusted off another portion of her side of the command console and made adjustments to engage the ship's particle shields. They weren't exactly in the best of shape but it was all they had to protect them from anything they encountered. With a few false starts, the particle shield projectors whirred to life.
Sev was satisfied with the amount of progress that they had made so far. That is until the radar in the center console began to beep. There were multiple Council dropships and carriers inbound. They must have been coming to help setup the lockdown. The dropships weren't much of a threat since those vessels aren't armed, they just carry soldiers to their destinations. The carriers on the other hand were a huge issue. Not only were these ships armed with weapons that could slice through most shields and hulls, but they carried at least a hundred fighter and interceptors ships at any given point. Sev and Nessa weren't exactly out of the woods yet, so to speak. Moving with a sense of urgency, Sev began making the preparations to jump to the next sector. Her nimble android fingers danced along the co-pilot console as if she'd been flying this ship her entire life. According to the data that she was receiving from the ship's drive core, they were only capable of making one jump before the drive core would need to be replaced. "You get what you pay for", Sev mumbled to herself as she entered a sequence of buttons and switches in order to reroute the energy of a few rudimentary systems into the drive core. Strands of her synthetic hair began to float and shift into awkward directions once she'd rerouted the artificial gravity. Ra's bag and the various luggage they'd manage to stuff into the cockpit had slowly begun to take flight. "Alright Ness", Sev said as she scanned over the ship's data on the display in front of her, "I need you to trust me again. Our drive core is only good enough to jump to the next system. I just gave us the power the we need to jump to the precise coordinates that I punched into the nav computer. But here's the thing, we're going to end up at the center of an asteroid field if I got the coordinates right. The worst case scenario is that you'll have to get us past a couple of rocks. Either way we can't stay here". Sev's eyes flickered as they darted frantically towards the blips that were appearing on the radar. If her mental assessment of the situation was correct they only had a few seconds before they'd be visible on the Council ship radars. However it wasn't the radar that she was concerned about, it was their weapon range. They needed to leave and they needed to leave quickly.

Six was saluted by a small unit of grunts wearing thick, plated armor with the same insignia as the one she donned on her stealth suit. The drop ship had landed smack in the middle of the mud filled street in front of the depot. Passersby were being pushed and shoved away from the immediate area as the Elites began setting up a parameter for further investigation. Civilians screamed and threw debris in protest. A stray spatter of mud flew off of a nearby Elite officer and speckled the side of Six's face. At this point she didn't care, she didn't have the energy to care. She just continued to press onward towards the side entrance to the dropship. "Lieutenant", she called to one of the more decorated members of her company. An Elite who's traditionally blue armor was marked with burn marks from past blaster fire, the plated shoulder armor was decorated with five stars and three stripes surrounding a solar system. This was the symbol of the Elite Council Guard. "Ma'am", the soldier stepped forward with a solute. "Have your men shut down the entire block", Six ordered, "I don't want anyone coming into this depot or leaving it. I also need the tech division to extract any useful information from the terminal in the lobby. And get forensics down here to clean this shit up and get bio-metric information on The Star Hopper. Understood"?
"Ma'am", the Elite lieutenant saluted Six once again before moving to begin delegating her orders on the spot. Six glanced over her shoulder to watch Feya. She seemed off now. Like something was amiss. Maybe she'd been hurt worse than Six had assumed. There was a medical team on standby. She could get the help that she needed if it was anything too bad. On the other hand, Six wasn't a biological being which meant that she needed someone who was specialized in androids and cybernetics. That someone was her creator and her mother. The bay doors to the dropship opened with a hiss and there she stood. A slender old woman with pale skin and fair features. Her eyes were a deep hazel, focused and unfeeling as if she was always calculating something in the back of her mind. Her grey and white hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail with the exception of a few curls that framed her face. She wore a long coat with very subtle black white and blue block shaped patterns. A patch on either of her shoulders identified this woman as the head of the Experimental Science Division. One of the Council's best kept secrets until a few years ago. The woman reached towards Six and placed a black gloved hand on the side of her face, whipping away the mud and other debris that had stained her face. With the exception of the pilot they were the only ones in the dropship at this point. "So, you've failed Six?", the woman asked flatly. Her simple question hurt the android's heart. Six could fill tears beginning to burn her eyes. "Yes ma'am", she said, "But I promise I'm working on finding them again. They can't be far".
"You'd better hope so, my love", Mother said coldly, "You know that I do not tolerate failure. Come, we must return to the lab for your..... Repairs". Mother gestured for Six to take a seat before signalling the pilot to take off.

Nessa slightly flinched at Sev's hand, before she looked over to her with a small smile. She moved quickly to wipe the tears from her eyes with an inward breathe. "Thank you." She said, glancing to Ra when she mentioned the 'weird space rat'. She almost laughed at that, "I'd class him more of an Experiment Puppy, but yes." She said before she turned her attention back to flying.
When the Council ships suddenly appeared her eyes widened before narrowing slowly. She whispered a swear to herself before she glanced to Sev as she started to talk again. "Right." Nessa said before she moved her hands back onto the controls. "Right, Asteroid field." She was glad she managed to click herself into the seat as the gravity started to shut off, she glanced over to her bag and Ra as she held back on laughing. Ra opened one of his eyes and gave a yip, wriggling softly to get out of the bag before floating around more. "HEY" He yelled as he flailed slightly. He tried to fly-swim over to the bag to stop everything from flying out of it.
"Three." Nessa started, moving her hands to press a few more buttons, "Two." She narrowed her eyes and leaned forward slightly, her hair floating around her but luckily not around her face, "One." She said before she punched it, sending the ship into jump. She moved to keep hold of controls as they jumped, trying to make sure that no asteroids would come into contact with the ship.

Feya watched the other Elites enter the area, trying to stay, in effect, sane. A couple of them stepped towards her before she backed away with a low snarl. One of the Elites stepped back while the other stepped forward, moving to grab Feya's arms and pulled her towards the ship. "Com'mon." They grumbled, glancing to their coworker and notioned for them to follow the others.
"I almost didn't recognize you." They started, looking over to the beastial Feya, "I don't think we can reverse this." Feya moved her head slowly to look at the Elite, she knew the voice but couldn't figure out who it was. She stayed silent and just slowly walked to the ship with the medical professionals and was escorted in, nurses immediately running to her side, checking vitals and trying to figure out what happened.

In an instant, a whirling vortex tore open before the ship and pulling it through. The sudden force of rocketing through the wormhole sent Sev crashing back into her seat. For a moment everything on the ship seemed to groan in agony, from the springs under Sev's seat to the floorboards and the decaying panels on the exterior. Sev could hear the engines roaring so fiercely that they began rattling around. If this heap of junk could manage to get them through this Sev would be shocked. All around them space and time folded in bursts of vibrant blues and greens as lightyears flew by in but a second. There were rumors and myths of the first pioneers to explore space with drive cores going insane from staring into the void of hyperspace. Sev never really put too much thought into urban myths. She was reminded once again how much she enjoyed space travel. The view was breathtaking, far more impressive than the dusty dunes and urban jungle she called home for so long.
The jump through hyperspace seemed to end almost as soon as it started. Within a few blinks, The Heavenly Body was floating in a completely new area. The pair found themselves surrounded by all manner of asteroid and space debris. Bits and pieces of ships that had fell victim to the asteroid field floated aimlessly as grim reminders of how much danger they were in. Upon exiting the wormhole the ship seemed to stall out for a bit. Every light on board the vessel including the console and all of it's holographic projections blinked out for only a moment and returned to normal. Sev exhaled a sigh of relief once again. Today just seemed like a series of near misses and close calls. It would all be over soon enough though. Only a few hundred meters in the distance she could make out the slightest anomaly. Among the the sea of asteroids and space debris was a asteroid a lot larger than the rest. There were the slightest indications of a structure along the surface of this particular rock. "Found you", Sev said aloud. She resumed running her hands along the console to re-establish power to the systems that she had rerouted earlier. "Take us up to that one right there", she called to Nessa, "We're gonna lay low here for awhile. It's safe I promise. Just let me do the talking once we get inside". As if on command, a set of bay doors began to slide apart on the large asteroid in front of them, revealing a chamber for them to land in.

Nessa watched the colours wizz past the ship, her eyes almost unblinking. She focused on keeping the ship straight and focused on any sounds around her as they jumped. She felt the ship groan and rumble from the jump, her wrist flexed against the controls as she moved to dodge a few bits of debris before the gravity slowly came back on.
Her hair slowly settled back down as she slowly steered the ship towards the larger Asteroid, "Right." She started, "Ra, stay in the bag." She glanced to the bag, which had now hit the floor with a small thump. Ra gave a grumble and slunk slowly back into the bag and popped his tail out of the opening.
Nessa got through the bay doors and moved to slowly land the ship, hearing it groan and rumble at her touch. "I'll have a look at everything when we settle a bit, I'm sure there's things we can tweak somewhere in there." Nessa spoke as she unbuckled once she had landed.

The landing bay that they found themselves in was a far cry from the rusty and decaying interior of the ship depot they had just left. The walls and floors were covered in sterile white panels similar to the material on Sev's body. She hopped up from the co-pilot seat before Nessa had even landed the ship. "We'll have plenty of time to get this thing in working order", she said, "Just sit tight for a second". With that she darted towards the exit hatch, leaving Nessa and Ra to their own devices. The stairs of the ship clanked loudly enough to echo through the massive empty space they now occupied. Sev had only made it a couple of steps away from the ship when automated turrets dropped down from the panels on the ceiling. There was a turret located in each corner of the landing bay. These weren't your average run of the mill rattlers either. They were modded Elite grade mini-guns, guaranteed to shred anything within their line of site down to a molecular level. The guns followed Sev's ever single move. The android continued to walk forward for a few tense moments. She didn't seemed too concerned about the guns though. "Hands up", a deep and booming robotic voice ordered. The turrets began to spin and charge their shots. Sev did as she was told and held her hands up where they could be seen.
"State your business", the robotic voice boomed once again.
"I didn't realize this was how you treated old friends Myrn", Sev called out, "I like what you've done with the place by the way". Almost immediately the mini-guns deactivated and retracted back into the ceiling panels. A hatch slid open on the wall in front of Sev and a humanoid figure stepped through. They wore a jumpsuit splattered with numerous colors of paint, low top sneakers dotted with random flecks of paint as well, and a customized Elite helmet covered their face. Most importantly the figure was armed with what appeared to be some sort of home made rail gun. The figure approached Sev with the weapon pointed at about chest level before stopping a few feet away. "If it's really you, then show me your pistol", a young female voice spoke through the helmet's microphone. Sev took care to move as slowly as possible. Taking a shot from that rail gun at this range would more than likely be lethal. She kept one hand above her head and reached for her pistol with the other, careful not to place a finger on the trigger. Sev drew the pistol and held it out by the barrel so that the figure could clearly see the name engraved on it. A few moments pass before the figure inhales sharply. "It really is you", she said.
The makeshift rail gun clattered to the floor, followed by the Elite helmet revealing the young woman's tangled mess of orange dreadlocks adorned with wooden beads of almost every color. Her hair stopped just at the back of her neck, her skin was almost the same brown as Sev's and her eyes were the color of honey. Myrn sprinted across the landing area and threw herself into Sev's arms. By comparison the young woman looked tiny as she hung from the android's neck. "Wagwan Sev! It's been too long", Myrn exclaimed. Her voice was strained as if she was fighting back tears. "I was so worried about you. I thought I'd never see you again". Sev wrapped her arms around Myrn in return and gave her a loving peck on the forehead.
"I know, I know", Sev said, "I should've stayed in touch. I should've called or something. I'm sorry kiddo".
"That's okay because you're here now. I've got so many things to show you. I've even gotten a little taller too", Myrn rambled on," Hey, wait a second. What are you doing here? Weren't you supposed to be in hiding"?
"Yeah I was but someone needed my help and you remember what Amanzi used to say right", Sev asked.
"Hand over hand, you help who you can", the two of them recited in unison.
"So what's the situation? Are you in trouble or something? And what happened to your face", Myrn asked eyeballing the ship behind them.
"It's a long story kiddo. We'll fill you in once we get settled okay. Is my friend okay to crash here with us for a while? We just need a safe space while we figure some things out".
Myrn nodded her approval without any hesitation. Sev turned on her heels to face the ship and began waving towards the cockpit, motioning for Nessa to come down. "Just a heads up Myrn", Sev warned, "She's exotic so don't get weird or start probing her with questions and- You know, your typical Myrn stuff".
"Seven, I literally live on a rock in the middle of space with barely anyone to talk to. Oh, I'm gonna probe", Myrn shot back. The two of them exchanged witty banter and snide comments as they waited for Nessa and Ra to emerge.

Nessa nodded as Sev hopped up and told her to wait in the ship. She watched her leave before she stepped towards her bag to lift it up slowly.
"You okay baby?" She asked as she placed her bag back on the console. Ra slowly popped his head out with a small grumble and a fluff of his fur. "You rest for now." She said. Nessa moved to reach into her bag around Ra, she pulled out a small vest that was neatly folded up.
As she slipped it over her shirt, something slipped out of the inner pocket, clanking on the floor before spinning and landing face down. As soon as that sound happened, Nessa froze up. Ra lifted his head and darted to the floor- He moved to pick up the item and climbed back up Nessa's body onto her shoulder, moving to put on the small necklace around her neck. "I..." She started, moving to touch the necklace. Nessa closed her eyes as she grasped the necklace, she felt tears and memories flood back.
"Hey! Where are you taking me? Why am I blind-folded?" Nessa asked out loud, a masculine laugh echoed from behind her. "If I told you, my Star-Light, it would ruin the surprise." The Male voice replied. "Anyway, we are nearly there."
The blindfold slipped off Nessa's eyes and they widened as she saw what was set out in front of her. A floating pavilion was set out in front of the two; glistening small orbs of light floating around it against the pitch black night sky. "Do you like it?" Nessa could only nod in response, she was speechless, "That's not all." The males voice said, the sound of shuffling echoed behind Nessa.
Nessa turned around slowly, expecting to see her partner at eye-level, before she looked down to the male in front of her, now down on one knee. "Nessa Nova." He started, gulping as his Emerald eyes stared towards Nessa. "Will you make me the Happiest man in the Council and become my beautiful, elegant Battle-Wife?" "Oh my god." Nessa replied, her hands moving toward her mouth- covering her agape, shocked expression. "Phen... Oh my god. Yes! Absolutely yes!"

Nessa zoned back into the real world, looking towards the windscreen and saw Sev waving out to her and Ra. "Come on babe." She said as she gave Ra a small pat on the head before moving to leave the ship. She bounced down the steps slowly, Ra holding onto her shoulder while squeaking out angry words. She headed towards Sev, glancing up where the Guns would be before she looked over towards Sev and the smaller female. She stopped just short of Sev, moving to give a small wave to the female. "Hi there." She said with a tilt of her head, "Sorry for intruding."

Sev placed a hand on Nessa's shoulder and gestured towards her in a presenting fashion. "This is my partner in crime, Ness-".
Gasping with excitement, Myrn brushed passed Sev, "The Star Hopper. Wagwan". Without even giving the Star-Born a moment to respond Myrn pulled her into an embrace. In spite of her size the teenage girl was pretty strong. "I think your bounty went up about a hundred grand the last time I checked. That must mean you're doing something right if The Council wants you dead that bad". Sev grabbed the young woman by the back of her collar and casually pried her away from Nessa easily lifting her about a foot off the ground. "Hey tone it down, kid. What did we just get done talking about"? Sev sighed, "Come on. We need you to focus". Myrn nodded, still vibrating with manic energy while she moved to collect her rail gun and helmet from the hangar floor. As the trio began to make their way through the doorway that Myrn first appeared from, Sev regaled with the story so far. She covered pretty much everything from the crash, Six's ambush, and the battle at the ship depot. Making sure to add a few flourishes and embellishments because Myrn was always a fan of bombastic stories. "So, your sister's alive but she wants to kill you because you defected. Ness is being hunted by some monster and the entire Council fleet is turning the galaxy upside down to find you both", Myrn pieced the story together aloud, "Is that about right"?
"Well when you put it like that it sounds kind of hopeless but yeah", Sev responded. Myrn led the way into a massive space. The white panel walls and floors were practically covered from top to bottom in graffiti, paintings of cute cartoon characters and arrows pointing, labeling ports and areas. All manner of tools, scrap, and miscellaneous bits littered the floors. In the center of the room was a massive blue screen with a mess of text and code crawling across it, sitting atop of what could only be described as a wall of consoles and smaller computers. Cords and wires crawled along the floors and walls to unknown crevasses. Smaller work stations were set up on the far right side of the massive room. One appeared to be for ship maintenance, another appeared to be for weapons and the last seemed like it was for general tinkering and experimentation. The ceiling was even higher than the one in the hanger. The only difference was the stalagmites that draped over the cavern like so many fangs. It was a beautiful mess of creativity and technology. "So what can I do to help you guys out", Myrn placed her weapon and helmet on a shelf near the doorway.
"Well for one we need sanctuary while we lick our wounds and figure out our next move", Sev began, "Next our ship could use a face-lift. I mean a complete overhaul. New ID signature, new paint job, repairs, and we really could use some guns on that thing. I'm willing to help you with the labor too. I know it's a lot".
"Mi deh yah, yuh know", Myrn slipped into her native language, "It's fine. On a busy day I'm doing way more than that. For now how about we relax? Sounds like you two could use a break. I'll brew us up some tea or something".
"I'll pass for now", Sev retorted, "Do you still have the Annex that I left with you? I need it to run some simulations".
Myrn sighed with disappointment as she gestured for the ladies to follow her over to a far off corner of the cavern. They arrived at yet another screen with a console connected to it. Sev ran a hand along the center piece of the console. The were flecks of long dried blue blood on the device. "Can you hook me up please", Sev asked as she grabbed an empty metal chair and sat with her chest against the back of the seat. "Sure ting", Myrn went behind the console and grabbed three long cords. Sev through her jacket to the floor before pulling up the back of her shirt. Three ports began opening on her back in sequence. First the back of her neck, then the middle just between the shoulder blades and the last was just at the small of her back. Myrn connected eatch cord with a small clank. Almost immediately Sev slumped over. To someone unfamiliar with this particular android activity she appeared to be unconscious and in a sense she was. However, her brain was no longer functioning in the physical world but operating in the digital one instead. On the screen overhead, Sev could be seen doing battle with Six once again. They would battle for a few short moments and either Sev would die in the process or win the fight. The battles continued one after another and each time Sev would attempt to do something different.
"Come on", Myrn sounded sort of down, "She's gonna be at this thing for awhile. Let's get you some food Nessa". The girl motioned for the Star-Born to follow her towards another area of the cavern. They found themselves in a smaller cove where the walls were curved. This appeared to be the Myrn's living space. Small bots scampered about on the massive plush bed in the corner. "Ay guys we have guests", she commanded, "Get to work on some tea please. Be gentle with the cups this time". The cobbled together machines rattled into action, scampering over to what appeared to be a stove. In moments they had brandished a pot and cups. Myrn flopped down on a giant plushy pillow before tossing a second one to Nessa. "I hate it when she gets all super serious about everything. She never wants to hang out".

Nessa let out a small squeak when she was hugged, she wasn't used to being hugged anymore. She was about to speak before Sev pulled her away and started to explain things to the female. She followed after them without a word, just listening to the two in front of her talk, Ra moving to gently perch on his owners shoulder.
She looked at all the machinery around the place, her eyes glistened at the sight of everything- she took it all in, her hand moving to gently touch her scoutbot as she walked. She looked to Myrn and Sev when the Annex was mentioned, she watched it quietly and curiously.
She watched with wonder before Myrn mentioned food, her stomach roared again. "Food would be amazing, thank you." She said with a small smile, "I'm sorry that Sev is so... snippy I guess? I haven't known her for a while but she seems like she's not the best at communicating."
She said out loud before she looked towards the machines scrambling around. "Oh wow! You've made some of your own robots?" She asked with a massive grin on her face, "Did you make them yourself? Because they look really well done, where do they sit on the technology scale?" She started to ramble, knowing she was unable to contain herself now.

The Elite who moved Feya back to the ship sat with her in the med-bay, pulling off their helmet to reveal a blonde male human; Feya had seemed to calm down, her form unchanged but her mind slowly twisting back to normal.
"The Star-Born really did a number on you." The Elite said with a frown, moving slowly to brush some dirt off of her face. "I don't know if I like a shark-beast as a partner..." He trailed off, noticing Feya's deadly glare. "You know what happens when I get over loaded." She grumbled, showing her rows of needle-like teeth, "You said, at the fucking alter-"
"Don't bring that shit up with me Fee." The Elite said, shaking their head. "I didn't marry you with the intent to follow you to the edges of the Universe following your fucking sister in law." Feya moved to grab the Elites neck, getting grabbed by one of the Medibay people, who pulled her back and yelled to another one to grab a needle.
"She killed him! She's the reason he's dead!" She roared before a needle suddenly pricked through her scales and a tranquilizer slowly soaked into her blood and her brain started to fuzz out again. The Elite put their helmet back on with a frown, "We're nearing landing, muzzle her and keep her dose. I need to talk to the fucking robot."

It all happened in less than a second. Once Myrn plugged the final cable into Sev's back her consciousness left her body and floated in a seemingly endless void. At least when you're in space you have stars, nebula and planets to gaze at. This wasn't the case in cyberspace. Suddenly a pinprick of light poked through the darkness followed by an intense brightness. Sev found herself surrounded by all manner of lights and code just floating in the space around her. It was a little overwhelming since she hadn't been on the Net for awhile now. She floated through the space until she found the program that she wanted to activate. Sev thought to herself how funny it was that this actually used to be a part of her brain. She reached out with a hand completely made of blue light and code to activate the simulation program. Sev only had to think in order to manipulate the Annex from that point on. The light and code that surrounded Sev began to shift and move to form ground under her feet. From the ground the code crawled up to create walls and sides of buildings and from there it created an artificial sky. Sev had successfully managed to recreate the alley where she'd first encountered Six. Every single detail from the miscellaneous puddles on the ground to the ships flying along the skyline. The grime and sand of the alleyway began to materialize under Sev's boots. Once the scene had completed, Six began to materialize as well. A slender column of red light and code emerged from the ground before shifting and into a perfect recreation of Six, heated knife in hand. Thankfully this digital version of her sister wasn't much for small talk. The digital construct of Six pounced towards Sev, utilizing some of the techniques that Sev recognized. Sev managed to hold her own in the brawl, going on the defensive so that she could observe her sister and look for tells in her movements. Six' attacks seemed wild and unpredictable at first but there was a method to her madness. It took a few moments for Sev to realize that Six only went for killing blows and if she wasn't able to capitalize on that then she would move to attack vitals in order to cripple her. Sev stood her ground and defeated Six in a couple of very brief rounds of combat. The data that she was gathering was going to be vital in surviving against Six in the real world. With each win Sev bumped up the difficulty of the simulation until she inevitably reached a level that she couldn't win against. The electrical feedback that she received from the injuries in the simulation hurt in a real enough way that she was motivated to apply what she'd learned in order to win. About 20 or 30 fights in, Sev began receiving notifications in her heads-up display. They turned out to be suggestions for weapons and enhancements that she'd long forgotten about. In the real world a wry grin tugged at the unconscious Sev's lips.
Several of Myrn's makeshift bots brought over a small foldout table and sat it down between her and Nessa before bringing over a very well made tea set and setting the table. "Meh don know about a technology scale", her islander accent slipped, "Everything that I know about robotics and technology I had to learn for myself. Sometimes for survival and sometimes for fun. I've just always had a knack for this sort of thing". She reached out and picked up the teacup in front of her before blowing on it and taking a sip. She shot a quick thumbs-up at the group of bots and they responded with their own awkward version with their claws and pincers before scuttling off in every direction. Myrn wiped some lingering grease from her hand onto the legs of her jumpsuit. "Sev wasn't always like this ya know", her gaze was fixed on the far corner of the cavern where Sev was hooked up, "She practically raised me in a way. Back then she was fun and a lot less serious. Or at least not as serious as she is now. Eni, go get the thing", she commanded one of the bots that resembled a spider with four clawed legs. The tiny bot leaped into action and began traversing the room, making it's way towards a small storage container next to the massive plush bed. It returned moments later and placed a well worn photograph on the table. Myrn slid the photo towards Nessa's side of the table. There were several people featured in this photo. One was clearly Sev only her hair had been shaven extremely short and there was a very obvious surgical scar on her head. She was smiling, and not the half interested smirk that she does now, this was a genuine smile like she was in the middle of laughing. The android actually looked happy. A younger version of Myrn was being held in Sev's arms. Her face was covered in grease and her hair was a wild and tangled mess of red. Next to them was a young boy that looked to be around Myrn's age at the time of the photo. His hair was the same fiery red as Myrn's except it was twisted into short dreadlocks. The young man was proudly holding up a small fish by it's tail. Another woman was leaning onto Sev's shoulder. She appeared to be human and probably in her mid 30's or so. Her dark brown skin glistened with sweat, enough to soak through the fatigues that she wore. Her navy blue curly, textured hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail. Her eyes were seemed to match her hair color and they were fixed on Sev. Most importantly there was a sidearm holstered to her leg. The very same one that Sev carries to this day. A couple of alien figures could be seen in the background. They appeared to be semi-aquatic but they were hard to make out. "All of us learned how to fish that day", Myrn chimed in, "I just wish that she didn't have to fight or hide anymore. It's all that she's ever known. And ever since Aman-", Myrn caught herself and promptly cut her next statement off with a sip of tea. "Nevermind, I'm just rambling now".

Six had been sitting in the surgical chair for what felt like days as Mother and her lab assistants worked to repair the damage that had been done to her body. Small needle-like robotic arms poked and prodded at her shoulder, knitting the circuitry and infusing more nanomachines into her body to aid in her recovery. Hours later most of the wounds she'd sustained bad been repaid completely however the remains of her arm had been detached from the shoulder down. Mother had spent the majority of her time at a workbench piecing together a replacement. Six just sat silently, almost too afraid to speak which was a rarity. Finally Mother approached holding the replacement arm. It was as elegant as the one Six had previously however it was different. The most obvious feature was that it was completely black. The metal was the color of obsidian and twice as durable. The fingers and joints were segmented as if it belonged to a suit of samurai armor instead of a person. Mother moved to begin the process of attaching the new limb to Six. "Mother, why doesn't this arm match the one that I had", Six asked quietly. Mother didn't answer her right away, she just continued to work on attaching the arm. Occasional sparks flying from the tool she was using to fuse the connections. "This is your punishment", she said simply, "Every time that you return to me after failing to retrieve Seven, I will replace something of yours with something....Ugly". Six averted her gaze from Mother as she worked. The woman's words echoed inside of her mind. The two of them sat in an uncomfortable silence until the procedure was finally complete. "Observe the additional features of your arm before you enter the field again", Mother informed Six, "Do not fail me again". With that she gathered her tools and assistants and left the androids quarters promptly, leaving her with nothing but the ambient sounds of the ship. She was in the middle of zipping up her stealth suit when the door to her room suddenly slid open once again. "Ma'am", the Elite recruit said with a salute.
"Have you ever heard of knocking private", Six's orange eyes could've killed the young woman with the glare that she was giving.
"I'm sorry ma'am", the recruit continued, "But your presence is being requested in the medical bay".
"Alright, I'll be there", Six sighed, "Dismissed soldier".
The recruit saluted once again before turning on her heel to leave. Six wondered what her companion had gotten herself into and why they would bother her of all people. She flexed her new arm and just looked at it for a few moments. It was a monstrosity, and now so was she. With a sigh she made her way through the blast door of her room and into the busy corridors of the ship and headed towards the medical bay.

Nessa listened to Mym spoke about the Technology scale and her knack for building. She hesitated as her hand moved towards her bag before the Robot brought over the picture. She tilted her head as she looked it over, a bittersweet smile slowly slipped over her lips before she closed her eyes and sighed.
"I understand that completely." She started with a sigh, putting the picture back down on the table before moving to put her hand into her bag. She pulled out a smallish book, around the size of A4, with medium thickness. "I feel like this would benefit you instead of me. I've read it cover to cover about ten times now." She said as she placed it on the table and gently slid it over to the female.
"I've put my notes in there too, often just scribbled in between the lines." She sighed, closing her eyes again before she gave a weak smile, "Think of it as a thank you for helping us. It's not much, but it's the Technological Manual for the Councils stuff." She held back a shudder, Mym mentioning about Sev's background caused her to be reminded of hers. She shook it off with a small frown, moving to sip her drink with a bit of a mumble. Ra moved to reach over for her cup as well, Nessa moving to gently push the small creature away from the mug, giving a bit of a hiss in her natural language before she looked back towards Mym with a small smile.
"I doubt this means anything, but." She paused as she finished her tea and placed the empty cup on the table, "I completely understand what she's going through, fighting and hiding. Running from someone who you deemed family until they turned against you because of a stupid fatal accident that wasn't entirely your fault and now you've lost the only humanoid person who ever loved you for you and not just because you were valuable to the Council..." She rambled, she couldn't help herself at this point, memories flooding back as tears welled in her eyes.

The Elite pulled off his armoured gloves as he flexed his fingers, frowning at the wedding ring on his finger, the silver tendrils coiling around an ocean blue stone. I got myself into this. He thought to himself, frowning slightly before he looked back at Feya, watching her sitting against the wall, rather submissively and as if she was too tired to move. He held back all of the urge to yell at her for her stupidity before he moved over to her, kneeling in front of her and lifted her head- staring into her eyes, which once were bright with colour, but now were just rather clouded and docile.
"You're getting on the councils last Nerves, Feya." He whispered to her, her eyes just staring at him before slowly blinking out of time. "And now what am I to tell them?" At this point, he didn't notice Six had already arrived, "That my beloved Wife is now a monster due to those experiments they did on her failed due to her stubborn mentality?" He gripped her chin harder, causing Feya to let out a bit of a whine- Almost baring her sharp rows of teeth. "You're a freak Feya. Your brother was a freak. That fucking StarBorn is a freak."

Myrn listened intently as Nessa spoke, casually thumbing through the book that she'd just handed over. The pages were worn with notes and sketches scrawled in the margins. A lot of the earlier chapters were elementary and uninteresting but the later chapters involved topics that were way more juicy. At a glance Myrn read brief passages on inter-organic robotics and theories of automated intelligence. The young woman's mind was already brimming with new ideas for experiments and projects. By the time that she was done skimming Nessa was in the middle of rambling on about her own difficulties that were similar to Sev's. Myrn gazed at the woman wide-eyed for a brief moment as she basically spilled her guts. She looked visibly distraught the more that she spoke. "Whoa whoa", Myrn spoke in a quiet and calming manner, "It's okay". She casually nudged the table separating them to the side with her boot and moved on her knees to pull the Star-Born into a much needed embrace. "It's okay. You're safe here I promise". The poor girl was shaken up from everything that had happened up until this point. Sev was designed to just keep going and going but Nessa wasn't. She was probably worn out from fleeing and fighting for so long and it was finally catching up with her. "Listen", Myrn withdrew and took Nessa's hand into her own, "For as long as you're here this is your home. What's mine is yours and all that. I'll see if I can talk Sev into slowing down a bit. At least while you guys are here". As if on que Sev came walking over to the bedroom area with a look of satisfaction on her face. "I learned some new tricks. I think-", she paused taking notice of the state Nessa was in, "Did I miss something". Her glowing eyes flickered as her gaze darted from Myrn to Nessa and back again.

"That's hardly any way to speak to a lady, captain" Six mused. She was posted up with her arms folded against the door that led to the medical bay. She was only half interested in what he was talking about. While their lover's spat was mildly entertaining, Six couldn't be bothered with the details. She held out her new arm like a woman observing her freshly manicured nails, her fingers flexed and barbed claws formed on her fingertips. "So why am I here? Our targets have gone to ground for now and I was actually starting to enjoy my downtime. I had hoped that this one was in fighting shape again", Six jabbed a clawed finger in Feya's direction. "But I can clearly see that's not the case. With that being said you'd better have a damned good reason for disturbing my investigation of the Star-Born's location".
