Quick report on favored employers, associates, contacts and rivals.
- SuuroobSuub Shipyards Superior Rur Fast (Sullustian male) – Was really the only one that I hung around with outside of work. I haven’t gone back there or contacted him directly for his and my own safety. But I do check in to see if the old man is still kicking and he somehow found a way to let me know when there was good salvage around.
- Renar Tiks (Duros male) – Coworker about 4 years younger than myself. He was always trying to one up me and out do my work. Poor bastard can’t keep up and that really burned him.
- Nerrotz Brill (Sullustian male) – Took a droid that I couldn’t repair to him once ‘cause he used to work at the yards. Old timer retired away from the yards on Alderaan. Geezer drove a hard bargain but fixed up the droid. Was worth every penny the old timer could squeeze out of me though.
- Frank (Schizo Droid) – Wouldn’t trade Frank for the world although I probably should. FRK2 has been with me since the beginning. He was a very reliable Mechanics Droid, until another Droid (saboteur type I think) tried to reprogram him to start do something probably heinous in nature. Old FRK2 grabbed a live power coupling and fried the both of them with the data spike still attached. I got Brill to fix him but he hasn’t been the same since. One time he said he tuned the hyper drive and when I went to jump it nearly shorted out the whole ship.
- Bryn Quoin – Pa he works as a mechanic on the taxi speeders and is pretty good at keeping me up to date on the who’s who on Coruscant when I swing by. Learned at the old man’s knee how to love to take things apart and put them back together again.
How freely can the courier move in the galaxy? Are there or have there been any outstanding bounties?
I move through the galaxy fairly easily in The Offal Esprit since I don’t have any outstanding bounties and I have yet to be caught on the wrong side of the law.Psychological evaluation of Courier.
Evaluation from data recordings for Sullust Shipyards Employees: Supervisor Rur Fast
Quoin is a hard worker and generally a nice guy, for a human. Some people see him as being a bit too full of himself and he comes off as a braggart. He was a bit of a loner when he first started work here. He’s warmed up since then. For all that the man has a way with machines that you rarely see outside a Sullustian; can’t fault the guy for his species. He’s bright and funny, once you get past the dry directness of it. A bit on the selfish side but who isn’t? He’s willing to work and will take any job thrown at him.
List and description of known and suspected flaws. To be put into restricted database.
- Manipulative – Until I get my money if this ship goes south you’re sinking. Once I get the money, we’re good I don’t know who you are.
- Self-centered – If it’s me or someone else that has to take the blaster to the face; it’s the other guy.
- Braggart – I’ve yet to meet a better shipwright.
- Opportunist – I’ll take any job as long as there’s money involved.
Major achievements and failures on record.
Achievements
- 3676 BBY/23 BTC – When I was 7 years old Dad gave me FRK2 a mechanical droid and had me start helping him fixing Air-speeders for his taxi business on Coruscant.
- 3665 BBY / 12 BTC – While on a salvage run for Soorosuub Industries ship was hit by pirates. I survived but barely made it to Sullust.
- 3655 BBY/2 BTC Well my contract is up and the Esprit is mine.
Failures
- 3652 BBY /1 ATC – Frank entered some wonky coordinates and we wound up off the lanes. Didn’t know at the time but it would be our lucky day. You see I finally heard from Dad; his business got hit pretty hard when Coruscant got sacked and no one either wanted to or would pay for broken air-taxis.
- 3647 BBY / 6 ATC- As of right now my improvements on drive capacity and maneuverability have been thus ignored.
Personal biography, as detailed by the subject for future record. Acquired shortly after last achievement of note.
/3683 BBY / 30 BTC – Born to Bryn and Allana Quoin.
3676 BBY/23 BTC – When I was 7 years old Dad gave me FRK2 a mechanical droid and had me start helping him fixing Air-speeders for his taxi business on Coruscant.
3668 BBY/ 15 BTC – One of my buddies got a SooroSuub Salvage Hauler and needed a crew so I joined up just to get off Coruscant. We had a short lived but decent run.
3665 BBY / 12 BTC – While on a salvage run for Soorosuub Industries ship was hit by pirates. I survived but barely made it to Sullust. My friends weren’t so lucky. Managed to work a deal where I could get the ship fixed but had to sign a 10 year work contract in the SooroSuub shipyards. At least Frk2 survived. Was not looking to make friends but Nerrotz Brill kept FKR2 going and Rur Fast turned out to be an alright guy. One time he sat me down and explained that yes my ideas for improvements would work but that the cost kept it off the market. Maybe if I had landed on Corellia. Uggh 10 years in a heavy enviro-suit.
3655 BBY/2 BTC Well my contract is up and the Esprit is mine. Time to break Orbit and start home. Uhmmm……wait what are those ships coming out of hyperspace…K2 gave me coordinates and get us out of here looks like the wars come to Sullust. (Battle of Sullust) So I hung around flying in and out of now Sith space looking for any unfortunate ships I could claim salvage on. K2 got hurt bad and I had to find Nerrotz on Alderron where he retired. Damn droid insists on being called Frank now but I don’t mind.
3652 BBY /1 ATC – Frank entered some wonky coordinates and we wound up off the lanes. Didn’t know at the time but it would be our lucky day. You see I finally heard from Dad; his business got hit pretty hard when Coruscant got sacked and no one either wanted to or would pay for broken air-taxis. Anyway, I found a Heavy Hauler with half a payload of Air-speeders and nobody home so I hooked up the cage and hauled the whole thing to Coruscant. Dad was back in business and I was out of fuel. I stayed on to help my Dad get started again and to pay docking fees and gas.
3647 BBY / 6 ATC- Current day. I have a full tank all I need now is a reason to leave Coruscant again.
