So, you’d be able to combine aqua jet with ice beam where it turns the water into ice and the Pokémon is still pushing the ice surrounding it with aqua jet, making a sort of ice missile that it’ll crash into the enemy with. Did... did that make sense lol.
There's loads of options for complex like signature moves and combining moves to make new moves
I'm under the impression that the moveset would look like Aqua Jet/Ice Beam/Scratch/Tackle. I have to ask to make sure; do you mean that the moveset would look like Aqua Jet/Ice Beam/Ice Missile/Tackle? (And Ice Missile's component parts Aqua Jet and Ice Beam could be forgotten, like a Pikachu knowing Volt Tackle but not Quick Attack/Thunderbolt)
For the Pokemon Charmander, with the moves Scratch, Flamethrower, Smokescreen, and Dragon Breath, it'd be more like...
- Scratch - Flamethrower (Signature - Flame Laser) A flamethrower that's heavily condensed into a powerful laser. - Smokescreen - Dragon Breath
Smokescreen + Dragon Breath (Dragon Smoke) - A combination move where Charmander launches a smoggy Dragon Breath that also envelops the area in blue-white dragon-charged smoke. Pokemon will take damage while inside it, on top of an initial strike.
Charmander in this case can also freely use the normal version of Flamethrower. I'm also limiting combination moves in the same moveset to 1 combination, I should probably put that somewhere.
But, combinations you make that are between two or more Pokemon has no limit.
Apologies if you were expecting sheets already, having a bit of trouble with properly assembling my character with a fitting team, but still super duper interested. c:
I'll post a character this weekend, if the OOC isn't already up by then. I'm thinking of taking the <Type> Trainer bonus and making a Ghost-type specialist.
Age: 20 Gender: ♀ Nationality: Kalosian Trainer Bonus: Coordinator Personality: Bubbly and playful, she does her best to have an open mind and can exercise practiced charm under any circumstances. That being said, she is unyielding when it comes to her passions, strict on herself and on her pokemon. She considers herself a self-centered person, in that she evaluates courses of action based on her own benefit, but that doesn’t stop her from being kind to people simply for the satisfaction. Loves attention.
Biography: Estelle is a young international celebrity known primarily for her talents in singing, but also for dancing, modeling, and even a little bit of acting. She loves the Pokemon she picked up along the way as pets, but she had no interest in training them for battle or competition before seeing the colorful mane of a galarian Ponyta with her own eyes. Where her interest was a spark, going out and seeing talented coordinators and battlers in action fueled the flames, and the timing of the international league couldn’t be better. She decided to take some time off to pay the Chromis region a visit. Although she is a novice trainer and coordinator, she is determined to leave her mark on the Chromis league.

Age: 24 Gender: ♂ Personality: A man of few words. For the most part he's so quiet as to be easily mistaken for mute. He isn't exactly quick to clarify either, which is why he tends to surprise people when suddenly speaking up, only to go back to silence once the spotlight is on him. Carries a rapier on him at often as he carries pokemon on him, supposedly to be used as a conductor's baton. There are rumors, however, that he physically assaults the pokemon of his challengers. Always has a Chatot perched on his shoulder.
Biography: The gym leader of a far-off region. His gym is a theater stage, on which he and his pokemon regularly perform. He's trained all of his pokemon to be talented musicians.
Species: Chimecho Gender: ♂ Ability: Levitate Simple Battle Item: Leftovers Moves: Cosmic Power, Recover, Heal Bell, Stored Power Extra Notes: Stubborn both in and out of battle. It can only produce seven different tones, after all.
Species: Chatot Gender: ♂ Ability: Keen Eye Simple Battle Item: Leftovers Moves: Nasty Plot, Substitute, Boomburst, Chatter Extra Notes: Devious, often tricks Neo into doing its bidding. Can imitate Neo's voice flawlessly.
Name: Neo Species: Ditto Ability: Imposter Simple Battle Item: Choice Scarf Moves: Transform Extra Notes: A ditto named after Neo who frequently transforms into Neo in order to give performances. Anyone who knows Neo for long enough will give him or his Ditto a nickname because it gets confusing very fast. Can't speak coherently, so Chatot does all the talking for it, though that's not that different from the human Neo anyway.
Species: Audino Gender: ♀ Ability: Regenerator Simple Battle Item: Audinite Moves: Calm Mind, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Blast, Surf Extra Notes: The ultimate musical critic who sits in the audience during Neo's gym challenges, she only comes out once the rest of Neo's team has been defeated, revealing that she has been watching all along. As an Audino, her hearing is unparalleled, and Neo, as well as the rest of his pokemon, forever strive to meet her impossible expectations. A true "boss" character.
