Urtum shook his head, "Silly to have so much research not shared. Other species often help further advances in scientific research." He mused as they continued to the archives. Making notes in his head about the bits and pieces of information he could see from over the shoulders of scientists. If he could pick up any kind of drastic inconsistency or off putting data from any of the experiments and research they passed, it would make the search through the archives easier and quicker. Although nothing he passed really jumped out at him.

When they finally made it to the archives, Urtum opened his Omnitool and began scrubbing through the data, quickly letting the Commander know that his search had started.

He nodded and said "and I agree. We get much more done together then apart but what we can we really do when our leaders force our hands to do otherwise" he said as they soon reached the archives and he watched as he started to go to work.

When the commander got the message she wrote back to keep her informed on what he finds. For them they soon got to the facility that had the means to manufacture the immortals. They were off course free to look the place over the commander then used her omnitool to start scanning everything

Urtum shrugged at the response, "Suppose that is true. Leaders who do not do the work themselves, do not know how to lead." He spoke more to himself then anyone else, but loud enough for anyone around him to hear. The data scrub so far provided little help, although the Salarian did notice a few outlying research subjects that he began to keep an eye on. It seemed this little venture was going to take awhile, there was a lot of information here and Urtum needed to pick each bit of data apart in detail to make sure even the smallest things were looked at. He looked over to the turian who escorted him to the Archives, "Searching through data will take awhile. My mind is good, but my assistant is V.I. Would help speed up search. But would need permission to connect foreign V.I. to computers."

None would openly voice their agreement to what she said as they kept doing their research. As he asked about his V.I. the turian would be apprehensive letting a foreign entity into their system but he would not argue. He went to a nearby terminal and placed the proper authorization before saying "connect her through this terminal if you would." He offered before once again taking a step back.

The commander and Angelo were still searching however they found something interesting. Or rather the lack of something that was interesting. They found that the initial test subjects were not there. At this realization the commander typed a message to urtum and asked 'please search records for any recent transports carrying research subjects. Lack found in the lab, please confirm'

Urtum shifted himself over to the terminal, taking out a small disk which encased the data of his A.I. A.L.I.S. and inserted it. The small hologram of an Asari popped up from the panel and he spook to it as he continued reading some of the information from the Archive.

"A.L.I.S. need full data sweep. Relay any outliers or anomalies. Also, for the commander, need list of research subject transports."

"Of course Doctor." A few moments past before the Asari spoke again, "There have been two transports that have left recently. The "Allora" and the "Surda", both left at the same time, but the Surda never reached the given destination. Seems someone hid the missing shipment report within redundant files."

Urtum nodded at A.L.I.S., conveying the information over message to the commander and looking over at the Turian, "Know anything about this Surda transport ship?" He also sent a second message to the commander with list of the missing subjects ID numbers and signed off with 'A.L.I.S doing full data sweep now, will notify of anything important.'

It didn't take long for them to look and at his mention of the surda he grew curious since he thought it was just a virtual intelligence. He then said "I'm surprised you heard about that so quickly. Yes that transport was going to be sent to another research lab but what happened was the ship got attacked. We were told by bandits according to the lone survivor. The rest of that crew were killed" he said sadly.

When the commander got the information she nodded to herself before she went back to searching. She then asked about the ship and got the same answer. When told that she asked to be seen to the survivor and where their transports are in case their was something off about how it all happened.

"Bandits? Interesting." Was all Urtum said as he kept his gaze on the stream of information being sent to him via A.L.I.S. It all seemed a bit off, but Urtum wasn't quite sure why. It kind of frustrated him and he couldn't figure out what bugged him about it all. It just felt kind of wrong. The Salarian looked over at the Turian standing by for a second, "Do you know who has access to filing data and information into the Archives. Would like to speak with them. Curious about something. Doubt you could answer."

As he spoke, Urtum sent the Commander another message, 'data feels wrong. Not sure why. Possible fudging of data or post edits. Will look into it.'

The turian raised an eyebrow at the question but didn't question it. He then said "only the captain or the lead researcher in charge of the vessel would have access. That would only be allowed on their return however, otherwise the only ones with constant access to the files would be a lead researcher of their departments" he explained. He then pressed a few buttons on his omnitool and revealed the faces and names of the lead researcher of each department.

At the message the commander frowned a bit before messaging 'keep investigating we will check the ship' as they kept moving and soon enough found the ship which was marked for destruction into scrap metal. The ship looked like hell although the question was if this was intentional or not

Urtum looked at the pictures of each lead researcher with deep interest, taking a few moments to look over every detail, trying to pick out something about them that rubbed him the wrong way. After an uncomfortable amount of time scrutinizing over the faces of the researchers, he finally pointed at a couple of them.

"Want to talk to them. Would most likely have the answers I'm looking for." His request came out as more of a demand than anything, although he didn't seem to notice his demeanor as he was all too focused on thinking about the right questions to ask and the information that he needed to know.

As he asked that the turian sighed softly and said "I'm sorry but I can't allow you to simply summon them. They are lead researchers doing important work they aren't people to summon simply on a whim" he said clearly stonewalling him about being improper and not taking into consideration that project leaders are important otherwise the project they work on could have serious issues. He would need real reasons to force a project lead away from their work.

Mind describing the ship since I'm doing the interactions for urtum?))
