Welcome to Recollections: The Fourth Seal. The first spin-off (and prequel) of Vivid Recollections and the second RP in the Recollections Universe. As the opening paragraph explained, it takes place in Araminta Pennslyvania, a nice quaint town that's deeply religious. However, everything is not what it seems. The supernatural has touched this town and strange occurrences are appearing all over Araminta as religion and the supernatural become one and the same. The main focus of the RP is certain individuals who have already come in contact with the supernatural get their eyes opened. They must come together to solve the mystery of what's going on in the town while fighting against the oddities that are going on in Araminta, Pennslyvania.

The RP will be an urban fantasy RP that is normal people going up against Supernatural occurrences, inspired by my new favorite game Lakeview Valley. The RP will feature religious themes and it's primary theme will be Belief. I'm going to leave that theme up to your interpretation, but every character should have a belief of some kind. Nobody is going to start out with any sort of magic abilities, but I want them to develop them in a way that makes sense. I'll explain how it all works later on ^{(or you can just be a scrub and look at Vivid Recollection's OOC but it doesn't have everything)}. Oh yeah, par for the course, I plan on the RP being a bit dark. It is a horror RP after all.

For your questions, for number 1, I was planning on making an older character, but I'm not yet sure for number two.

I think multiple people going through individual supernatural events might be better for allowing more freedom. It could allow for establishing the "weird place" vibe if supernatural events were commonplace enough for each character to have gone through their own at some point in time.

I'm personally in favor of making an older character, but if everyone else wants younger, I can make that work. For your other question, I can go either way.

I have a concept in mind for an Older Character, and i prefer swinging that way personally. If the group vote swings the other way though I can make either age group work.

And I think it’d be cool if everyone had their own experience. Weird place vibes are dope, and it could make for cool roleplay moments; characters sharing notes about their own experiences

I would also like to put my interest out in the open as this seems like a intriguing concept you have cooking so far.

What the others who have put out their interests have been saying, I have a older character in mind as well but we can do both. For the supernatural event, maybe not one big collective event but several separated ones that involves multiple characters.

As to the event. One big event ties us all together and establishes a relationship from the start. We'll need to agree and know a fair amount of the event prior to starting. Otherwise we could all come up with our own ideas. Lot easier for OP, more work for us. I'm fine either way.

I'm completely unfamiliar with the original Vivid Recollections RP. However I'm in the mood for something horror related. I'm definitely interested.

#1: I'd prefer younger characters.

#2: I think a central incident of some kind would be the best, it'd provide a nice connection to characters who are likely strangers to one another at the start.

The vote says towards multiple incidents, buuuuuuuuut what if I come up with like three and have everyone write their characters around it? That way, we get the best of both worlds.

Question #1: I think an aged cast would allow for a deeper solidification of their individual beliefs and therefore a better likelihood of conflict discussion and fighting to the death for our chosen ideology collaboration. Blind faith is prevalent across all ages, but would naturally fall heavier upon youth. Seems like you're leaning more towards people who know what and why they accept what they do, until being hit with this new supernatural variable.

Question #2: Was going to suggest the multiple incidents to allow for connections with a bit more freedom, but you’ve hit on it. "Yea" from me!

Consider me interested.

1.Aged cast. Most of the small town-esch roleplays I've been in have been with a the young/ teen cast, I'd like to freshen up from it and actually have an adult in the mix.

2. I'd rather like the One Experience thing, I completely agree with Karnee's statement that it'll establish relationships from the start and I'd like to see how the different characters have their portrayal and understanding of what just happened.

1. Don't have a preference, seems like most others want an older cast though.

2. I prefer one experience, but if there are going to be multiple, then just having a few would be fine - your suggestion of 3 is a good number.

Alright, I think we got a solid group thus far. I started work on the OOC, and I decided to make one smallish change to the RP - I'm going to make it set in a more urbanish environment.
