This RP is set in the Metal Gear Solid Universe and takes place a couple years before the events of the MGSV: The Phantom Pain. While set in the universe, we are going to be rather detached from the universe as opposed to diving straight in. That way we don't all end up arguing over whether something is Canon or not.

During the RP you will be playing as Soldiers of the new established PF: Strategic Defense Solutions or SDS. You will be going around in teams with fellow RPers going out on missions and making choices and decisions as you go. The groups used during missions are small (Roughly four to five) and it will be similar to playing a mini DnD game; just with less dice rolling. I will present the team with solutions and it is upto them to come up with a solution.

Naturally as you can imagine this RP will require a lot of Co-operation between players and a lot of backwards and forwards chatter between players. After all you need to discuss the events of what is going on etc. So expect Discord to be a requirement. Also posting requirements for this RP are going to sit on the High-Casual scale so two paragraphs will be the norm.

Just out of curiosity, you mentioned dice rolls. How much of that is going to play into what decides the story? I get that it does help with actually making a fair outcome and a thing for us to write, but can we also have narrative focused storylines with characters, talking about their relationships, who they are and what they strive to achieve from simply being where they are? I do love the interactions the PFs have between one another.

@LetMeDoStuff Dice Rolling is kept to a minimum, and Narrative is more important. I don't want to make this a full on DnD-esque game. It will be mostly be behind the scenes rolling for deciding what outcomes happen in situations. What layout a base might have etc.
