In a large village just south of the beautiful kingdom of Aryndel was a small tribe. The village is home to a large group of amazonian warriors. The tribe was known to breed fierce warriors both male and female. They had no allegiance to any particular kingdom and kept mainly to themselves. Surrounded by large forests the tribes sought to own that land , making it so non of the other kingdoms could enter or hunt on their lands.

The kingdoms agreed , mainly due to the infestation of demons that lurked upon that forest. Anyone entering there would find themselves battling more demons then one could count. However, it was perfect for this tribe. Using it was a ground for training they kept the demons at bay and trained their warriors at the same time.

The tribe was called the Spirit clan, known for their magic wielding ancestors. No one in the last 100 years had been born with the gift but all of their stories and beliefs revolved around honoring and maintaining the image of their clan. Teaching all their warriors the most basic of magics, along with the ability to fight. Their people still were feared amongst the other scattered clans, and the kingdoms had a lingering fear always keeping on eyes to the forest.

26 years ago a small child was born. Their were prophecies that for told the birth of a child, a child born on this particular night. The tribe leader and his mate had become parents to a baby girl. She was born amongst the stars, a baby girl born with bright blond hair the color of the moon. Worried the couple consulted the elder who confirmed their concerns.

" I am afraid it is true...the child born with moonlight hair , the child born to heir shall possess the con dar..."

The spiritual leader looked at the chief with heavy eyes

" do not be afraid, she will not develop these powers until she is of magic maturity. That will give you 25 years to teach her, help her learn her powers."

The chief let out a heavy breath as he looked down at the sleeping babe in his arms. Her moonlight coloured hair, her fair skin... she would be the death of their clan as the prophecy for told.

The chief knew he should kill the child, drowning her and return her to the gods where she would find peace. The idea bounced around in his mind white the child's eyes slowly opened. Her bright silver blue eyes started up at her father sleepily.

A hand landed on the chiefs shoulder as a women crouched down behind him.

" Husband...she has a great mentor, you know as much as i these prophecies can change....let it change, help her grow into a women you will be proud of"

Silence loomed over the hut. Several hours past with only the sounds of a crying babe echoing in the village. In the midst of the night, a choice was made. The child would be saved, she would be taught and grow under the watchful eye of the chief. So she to could grow into a leader and when she comes of magical maturity, they prayed the spirits would protect them all.

An owl cooed amongst the midnight air, his voice echoing through the forest. A cool breeze genitally danced through the brush. The night was oddly calm no sounds of screams or shouts,no demons lurking in the shadows. It was an odd night ... something was bound to happen.

A women reached into a large spring of hot water, the natural heated spring was surrounded by forest. There was a circular area that had nothing but the spring and a lush patch of grass. This is where the women generally stayed. The warmth from the spring in the dead , cold nights was more then just comfort but also security. The demons tend to stay away from warmth, they only traveled in the night preferring the dark cold air to the hot warm sun.

Washing her hands the water began to turn red from the blood that stained her skin. She looked down at her body realizing that she was soaked in it. Having just fought a demon only just a few hours prior she reeked of it. Deciding she should just wash herself completely she stood up fixing her hair. blood was even matted her hair together.

Diving into the water the women could feel the blood leaving her skin. The water around her as she was submerged turned a bright red colour. She looked up to see the moon dancing on the top of the water's surface. swimming back up to the top she took a deep breath when she broke into the nights air again. Moaning at the warmth of the water she ran her hands through her hair. She yawned deeply as she splashed some water in her face wiping off the blood and dirt from her skin.

She leaned back as she floated on the above of the surface allowing the small current move her around as she relaxed her body. Her eyes still fixing on the moon. It was the first night of the full harvest moon, it was meant to bring luck to her people and their crop season.

She smiled at the thought of her family, the smells of the food boiling over the hot wooden coves. The sound of the wood crackling as the fire burned. Her fathers warm smile as he send her off into her year long venture.

She was on a spiritual quest, one that every young warrior was supposed to go on. Her father was against it for a long time, wanting to change the rules for his daughter. He was always so protective of her she figured that it was because she was his heir and his only child. She didn't know the real truth. She hadn't met her her magical maturity yet and her father knew that. Hoping this quest would allow her some time to discover herself he allowed her to go.

Little did anyone know her life was not the only one to change....

Anastasia could smell the hint of blood seep into the air as the unconscious man laid in her lap.The strong scent of iron set the hairs on her skin on edge. She knew he would wake soon, but the anticipation of it killed her. She could feel death looming over his body and his aura was fading rather quickly. She ran different scenarios through her mind as she tried to figure out how to explain to him why he was even here. Telling by the smell of blood and the condition his body is in, he is lucky to be here.

It happened so fast, it wasn't until he was standing did she realize he was awake. She stood up slowly watching his movements trying to keep calm. She jumped slightly at his sword when he drew it, his shaking hand and body confirmed her first impression. He didn't realize where he was, not yet. Then, finally, their gazes met. She looked at his striking blue eyes as she watched his sudden realization appear in them. Her hands clenched shut as her body stiffed. The look in his eyes was a cry of pain, she had a hard time looking at them as she could feel a flooding of painful emotion from them. It was as if she had taken his pain into her own. It was one of the curses her Elven side gave, the feeling of emotion was a gift the elves were blessed with, but in her case being a necromancer, it was more of a curse.

She jumped when he said her name, the fact that he even remembered it surprised her. However his voice said it all, she could hear the pain in his voice. Nestor was going to die if she did not help him. She was about to respond but his body gave out under him, her items falling on the floor around him as he banged against her cabinet. It wasn't the first time she was happy that she kept her explosive vile's in the kitchen. She watched him reach for his shoulder as she saw blood begin to pool. The smell alone could make one gag but she was used to the smell of death and blood, it actually gave her a bit of joy. Joy in the sense that she could be useful, rather then a happiness at Nestor's situation.

She quickly reacted to him, falling to her knees as she placed her hand on his neck. She slipped his arm down, as she put pressure on his wound.

" You can thank me later, but you will not be thanking me for what I have to do ... "

She looked at him knowing he could not speak. Normally she would ask for consent but their was no time. She reached under him and used what strength she had to lift him to his feet. Slowly pulling him, trying not the harm him more she brought him to her bed. Placing him as gently as she could on her bed she kept her hand pressed on his shoulder.

" There is no time to give you a sedative, I will have to close the wound before you bleed out."

She pulled open her draw and grabbed a strap and leather and place them between his teeth.

" Bite down on this.."

She ripped up some of the fabric from her bed, and quickly placed them on his wound to stop the bleeding. She got off the bed and rushed to her night stand grabbing a needle and thread with gauze and other vile's. Grabbing and armful of items she ran back to the other side of the bed and tossed them quickly on the mattress. She opened up two dark colored vile's and pulled open the caps. Removing the cloth she ran the liquid of the wound to kill and type of bacteria that got into it. Knowing it would sting she did it was fast as she could, and placed the cloth back on his shoulder.

Without thinking about it, she crawled onto of his cradling his chest between her thighs as she grabbed the thread and he needle. She had to stitch his wound closed and if he even moved, she could hit an artery.

" I have to keep you pinned down, this will hurt... Please..try not to move." she begged.

Her face had changed, her emotions were one of a necromancer not of Anastasia. Normally she would not care of the patient and their pain. However, this was Nestor. He was not just anyone to her, he was her friend. She paused for a moment and took a deep breath. Putting his arm under her knee she put as much weight on him as she could to ensure he did not move.

Feeding the needle and thread through his skin she began to stitch him up. The wound was large enough that she had to tug on the thread to ensure the wound was tightly closed. His bleeding had not slowed and if she didn't get it stitched fast enough he would pass out during this process. she could hear his screams of pain in her ear and his body was thrashing around under her as she tightened her grip on him. Her hand shook nervously as she made the final stitches.

She pulled back and lifted herself off of him; grabbing the gauze and tape she placed it over his wound. The bleeding had stopped but his wound would need to be changed every few hours to avoid infection.
She took a deep breath as she slowly looked over towards him. Taking a breath of relief she gave a small smile as she could see his aura brighten. It wasn't much but it was something. She nodded lightly before standing up
" It will be a long recovery, but your out of the woods for now.."

she said softly to him. She just hoped he didn't resent her for the pain she just put him through. She couldn't looked at his face, unsure if he had passed out from the pain of if he was still awake she just stood there waiting for some kind of response. A reassurance that he was okay was all she hoped for.
