I'm looking for a new partner to join me in a 1920's/1930's Maid x High Society pairing. Now, the member of High Society can be any member of the family that she serves, however, I am only looking for MxF pairings, with me taking the F role. That said, we'll both need to be willing and able to play many extra characters of either gender.
The real bones of this, is a romance that develops between two people of entirely different social status. She's a young adult, with parents that worked in service all of their lives. This is her first real position, and if you've ever seen Gosford Park or Downtown Abby - we're looking at that kinda' backdrop.
Romance, yes! Love at first sight? No. Attraction, friendship..Perhaps they can't even stand the sight of one another to begin with! Development is what we're looking for here. No instapot goo.
And, who is the M in the equation? Well, he could be a wayward Son - uninterested in societal norms, the Lord himself - tiring of a sour wife with an ever growing spending habit. He could even be the brother of the Lady of the House - staying with the family for the year. Like I said, the possibilities are endless. (I ship the son or brother idea. But I'm totally chill.)
It's a really fabulous little plot to run with, because there are just so many different directions that we can take. Does it all work out for the best? Do they throw fortune to the wind and run away together?! The sky is the limit here - and it should be great fun!
Please be an advanced level writer, with an ability to develop a truly three dimensional character. Mature themes a plenty, so please be over eighteen. And OOC is a real bonus. I'm super easy to chat and plot with.
