This is a conceptual RP where the goal is the creation of your complete Character Sheet (CS). You start as a blank character, without even a name or an appearance; and throughout the RP, you will unlock bits of your CS little by little. As such, the RP would most likely consists of personalized, one-on-one updates where I, as a GM, will put you in a certain situation and see how your character responds. As such, I would like to keep the player base small. Who knows, I would probably accept more applications when I think I can handle it, but for starter I think 4-6 is my limit.

And no, this is in no way related to the game Oblivion, which I know virtually nothing about.

1. Be civil. While a little jab in good humor is good, I don't want a flame war in my thread

2. Generally Godmoding is not advised. If there is a scenario where you can run wild and flaunt your powers (and there will be some, I promise), I will tell you in the OOC. Otherwise, please do not steamroll your way through the scene :)

3. NEVER take control of others' characters. If a PvP is somehow initiated, always give your opponent a chance to retaliate in their next post instead of writing "I one-hit him straight in the face and he fell unconscious" or something to that effect.

4. More of a request instead of hard rule, I would love it if you can keep the OOC alive. Random chit chat and getting to know one another are welcome :)

5. Always, and I cannot stress this enough, have fun! If you don't like parts of the RP, especially the way I GM stuff, please do tell me. I am new to GM-ing, and any kind of input is welcome :)

In my defense, you didn't use a 0th post in either the OOC or the CS tab so there was no precedent.

It's just that the 0th post doesn't show up as an actual post in the subscription tab or the post count. If there isn't a 0th anywhere else and it's not mentioned, I don't have much reason to think there is one until I go "hol' up" and check.

I mean, considering I brought it up first chance I got, I don't think it'll be much of an issue for anyone to find said writing prompt now unless they don't do anything other than read the OP. It's not a massive issue, just a bit of initial confusion.

I don't want to spoil anything yet, but the weapons you players choose will have huge impact on your story arc

@LukasVolkov my good man, is it OK if I hold updating you until at least 2 more people join? I want the RP to progress at a somewhat even pace for the players :)

And yep, I used tabletop inspiration for this RP. I borrowed the paladin system from anvilwerk, to be exact

Huh. Thought the apping process was going to be like a standard RP where you'd write something to the prompt in a PM / the OOC first and only get it to the IC if the GM thinks you're coolbeans.

Are we allowed to just plop it straight into the IC like that or am I missing something?

I'm not used to how things work here so I just did what the other guy did. I'll be listening if I need to do anything differently!

I have read goodmode's post and I have no qualms so it's OK to keep it in the IC

But yes, for administrative purposes, it would be best for the application to be sent to me via PM or be posted in the OOC :)
