You can call me Concept and, while I'm not great introductions, I'm going to try and get across what I'm looking for here. I've just returned to the site after a two year hiatus and with the quarantine in effect I have a lot more free time because I'm now working from home. I'm looking to create a story with someone that is mature in nature and interesting for us both. I'm only looking for female partners and below are some guidelines to help you decide if you'd like to roleplay with me or not. Oh, if you want a peek at my writing you can look in my profile for the history I have from two years ago.
What I'm looking for:
- 18+ Female partner
- A partner who doesn't mind writing in threads
- A mature, original RP
- Original characters
- Consistency in posting rate and in conversation OOC
- An enjoyable, leisurely atmosphere OOC
- Character-driven story-telling, development, and fleshing out of characters
- The ability to write at least 3 - 5 paragraphs of substance. Quality over quantity for sure, but it's hard to reply to a really short post in any meaningful way.
To explain a bit of this, I've found in the past that the best roleplays came together when the roleplayers truly enjoy the story their creating and each other's company. I try not to set any specific posting frequencies or rules because I feel like organic development and the right partner creates that kind of structured environment anyway. I mainly ask for consistency and when we're both consistent and there's less stress from rigid badgering, we have the most fun and create an awesome roleplay at the same time.
Now I bet you're looking for the concept. Well, let me start by saying that I'm not into fandoms. I enjoy watching, reading, and playing different subject matter, but I always prefer to create an original roleplay with original characters. I enjoy developing a character and watching them grow in unexpected ways. Below, I'll outline some concepts I'm definitely not interested in. I try to vary my tastes, but I just can't get up the passion to work with these concepts:
Concepts I'm not into:
- Vampires
- Zombies
- Werewolves
- Historically accurate military sim
- Child and teen protagonists
Now here's some concepts I am into. This isn't everything, but it's what I can immediately think of and it may spark a narrative idea if you decide to PM me with interest:

- Modern Day setting
- Dark Fantasy
- Cyberpunk (Specifically Cyberpunk, not sci-fi by extension)
- Crime Drama
- Romance (But not by itself, needs to be incorporated with other elements)
Okay, I think I'm at an end here. I don't have a definitive story in my head at this time, but I've been binging The Last Kingdom on Netflix for the past few days and not only has it caused me to play The Witcher 3 again, but I've got dark fantasy on the brain now. If you're interested in roleplaying with me, just shoot me a PM and we'll discuss from there. I'll be using this thread as a base of operations for my 1x1 searches for the foreseeable future. Now, the final thing is because I know myself and like to devote real energy and time to my stories, I only RP with one partner at a time. So if and when I get a partner, I'll update the title of this thread with "closed". I only re-open if I get to a point where I need to search for a new partner.
