When several more characters are finished and ready, I'll work on the 1IC post, so we're moving at a relaxing pace at the moment

It’s mostly because all the women in within the family are around 5’7” or shorter. She’s always happy to be the norm in terms of height its a bit of a proud sense of self in how she walks. In the case of how her body language is, she’s definite shows there’s nothing really wrong with her in certain aspects. It’s mostly how her family’s doctrine deals with growing up compared to other families in her hometown. She has a very cute smile when it involves everything, however, her smile is much brighter when it involves being around Linde. It’s only because her lover is adorable when she does stuff that is out of the norm for her. Her blue eyes show she’s always proud of her family and their accomplishments in whatever field of life they currently deal with. This is specifically how much she loves her mother Jessica and her father Nathan. She outright dislikes when people are in a bad mood, it makes her want to protect their sensibilities and give them advice, in terms of how her eyes shine. Her red hair, however, it used to be much longer than it is at least past her lower back. She cut it to be much more reasonable to handle it while joining the military, however, it was in a pigtail style. It’s mostly because she always wears her hair in pigtails with black hair ties, which is mostly how her mother puts her hair into. It showed that she grew up with a caring family with the understanding of how military doctrine works in the Marines. In terms of her outright fitness, she’s athletic and has an hourglass figure at the same time. She absolutely loves wearing dresses, which is mostly because she’s definitely a girly girl. However, she can deal with wearing whatever the military would give her it’s mostly because she’s not really that picky. Her fashion sense is definitely a great thing to help her lover with. However, she dislikes very hot temperatures it makes her feel sticky and what not. She isn’t really that embarrassed with showing off herself even though its not that much of a thing. It’s better to show off what you got than not at all. In the way she keeps her head held high and able to talk a mile a minute is she’s definitely not shy in anything she does. She has fair beautifully smooth skin, which is mostly because she has to keep herself healthy in that department. Because dry skin is very much of a pain in the ass to deal with for her. She wears the basic military uniform, without any alterations to it, since it’s required to be that way. It’s because of the words of wisdom, don’t fix something that isn’t broke, basically. She marvels at the world in the way she speaks, with a thick southern accent. It’s a bit obvious she’s a bit more cautious than her lover, since Linde is much more reckless than her by a slight degree. However, she would protect her lover’s sensibilities since she’s not really good in feminine department. It’s the reason why she wears the Promise Ring on her left hand on its ring finger. However, she’s not really mind any gender since she’s pretty much bisexual but she wants to stay faithful to her lover Linde nonetheless. |

-D E T A I L E D A P P E A R A N C E Linde stands at 5’9” tall, which is different for someone from the Heartily Family. It’s mostly because most of the women within that family are around 5’6 or shorter. Basically she’s the only outlier in her family, which is saying something. In the case of how she looks, she’s very beautiful with a slight tinge of being constantly angry or what not about certain things in her life that didn’t come up peachy. It’s in her body language, however, she has a slight air of happiness when she’s around her lover Theresa. She can smile wonderfully, even though she goes back to having a mood differing what her lover is all about.
Her green eyes show she’s always looking for answers to specific things, which is how to get back at her mother Angela. It doesn’t help that every time she remembers what her mother had said to her she gets a tinge angry and has to punch something or yell. There’s a slight fire in her eyes, which wants to show up and destroy the problem in her life, which is primarily her mother. Her hair is brown, however, it used to be much longer than it is at least past her lower back. She cut it to be much more reasonable to handle while joining the military. It showed that she grew up with a caring family at least, with the understanding of how military doctrine works in the Marines.
In terms of her outright fitness, she’s athletic and has an hourglass figure at the same time. However, she dislikes wearing anything that would make her much more feminine it’s mostly because of the fact, dresses makes her embarrassed to wear. She would rather wear, shorts over a skirt any day. It basically means she’s tomboyish over being a girl, it’s mostly because of her complete lack of fashion sense in that department. As well, she carries a massive chip on her shoulder, which she can easily talk about it since it shows pretty easily. It’s mostly because of her mother’s lack of caring towards her. She also has fair beautifully smooth skin, which is mostly because she keeps herself healthy.
She wears the basic military uniform, without any alterations to it, since its better that way. In terms of everything, she would rather marvel at the world in her distinctive lack of knowledge perspective. She would want to deal with everything a basis of caution or slight recklessness as long as it is deemed necessary. She has a slight less thick southern accent compared to her lover Theresa’s accent. It’s all for the protection of her love of her life, which is why she wears the Promise Ring on her right hand on its ring finger. However, she hates how hot it gets in Vietnam but wouldn’t want to strip down since there are men in her platoon.Linde was always wanting to get something more in her life, which would be from her mother Angela. However, she has never gotten it within all her life, because of her mother’s outright mean and hateful attitude to Sasha, Heather and her. It stunted her mental growth in one specific way, which she usually gets into fights and constantly bursts into a temper tantrum. Her attitude problems put her into the wrong crowd most of the time, because of what should’ve been her biggest supporter not there. However, her father and older sister was there all the way, but it caused her not really fall for the opposite gender because they would rather use someone like her. It’s the primary reason why she went lesbian because of her mother issues, however, she primarily distrusts men. She would rather punch them in the face if they piss her off a bit too much.
There was one person in her life that she had a crush on but couldn’t really tell her these feelings. Theresa was her crush, since she was a popular and well knowledgeable girl on more feminine perspective. In terms, she was a bit jealous of how beautiful Theresa was, which usually caused her to fight her. The biggest problem was she learned really early on, she was a genius. Even more so than her mother and father combined, which was a bit shocking. It’s the primary reason why her father couldn’t really understand what was wrong with her. At least he was there for her unlike her mother, who was an utter bitch and constantly called her a mistake. It was obvious she definitely got that from her mother, which is why she was definitely mean when came to her fighting other people. Dirty fighting was mostly what she was good at. It’s a bit strange, that she never once tried to take anything alike a vice a miracle you could say. She would rather use her fists to take her frustration out on other than the alternatives. Angela, her mother became a drunk, smokes and what not after her fourth child.
Linde cares deeply for her sisters because of the fact its better to stick together than not. She tries to keep a slight positive attitude around her younger sister Heather since she’s trying to understand everything that’s happening. However, the biggest shock to her system was when Sasha, Heather and her was adopted into the Walton Family by Kevin’s insistence. She took it very hard, even harder than her twin and younger sister. It was mostly because of the lies her mother Angela told her about the Walton’s and the fact she was living in the same house as her crush now. However, she saw how kind and nice Jessica was and couldn’t help but go to her room in tears. The biggest thing that happened to her was Theresa’s kindness and kissing her on the cheek, which was what she said. It caused her to go with her true feelings and kiss Theresa on the lips directly, which was basically apologizing to Theresa for fighting her in School. From that day on, her attitude changed slightly but only slightly she decided to get to truly know the Walton Family. Theresa is helping her and making her much happier, which returned her smile to her face. She wants to protect Theresa, while Theresa wants to protect her as well.
Additionally, she’s pretty creeped out by the letters she gets from her cousin Devin. It is a bit of a thing that makes her skin crawl and hopefully she’ll never see him. However, because of her slightly more relaxed self, she can at least joke around guys even though she still distrusts them. She likes playing cards, because its something to do relaxing. However, she’s not very good at it since she hasn’t really played anything other than Black Jack. Her lover on the other hand is pretty good at playing cards, it’s a bit of another thing she has to learn about. The biggest problem that stays with her is her mother issues and the fact her mother never can take a joke. Angela is a bit too serious all the time and only ever wanted Pauline, which hurts still from all this time. At least, Sasha and Heather is taking being in the Walton Family better than she did. The alternative creeps her out big time, living with her cousins in Mobile, Alabama. However, she did hear that her mother suggested that Sasha, Heather and her moved to Mobile, Alabama and that pissed her off big time. It caused her to curse up a storm for a bit but was told by Jessica to calm the hell down. Jessica told her that’s the reason why they adopted the three of them because of what Angela suggested. Kevin didn’t want his daughters to live with his brother Steve since he’s a bit of a traditionalist in those types of ways. It made her shiver down her spine because of that and was grateful she lives in the Walton’s house much more.
---B I O G R A P H YAngela Tina Heartily and Kevin Victor Heartily gained two new additions on April 1, 1940, which were three minutes apart from each other. Linde Kayla Heartily was born at 5:00 PM in Room 193 of the Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Angela outright didn’t want anymore children and only wanted her first born daughter Pauline. The fact it was her birthday on top of giving birth to two more children made her really irritable and annoyed at her husband for doing this to her. She yelled at her husband for the awful thing he had done to her. However, she stopped because there’s only one family in the whole world that would probably be the best fit for her children, and that’s her childhood friend Jessica. Frenemies most of the time they were when growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, however, there was always Kevin’s brother Steve to take care of the unwanted children.
Kevin basically told his wife to shut up and take care of Sasha and Linde since they need to be taken care of. Angela sighed and yelled back at Kevin and wished he stayed at Mobile, Alabama and his friend Nathan stayed in Indiana. It was that moment when Nathan walked in the room and he definitely heard what she said. Nathan was a bit unrelentingly angry at what she said, specifically at the fact she outright didn’t care about anything to do with her twin daughters nor any other children that Kevin wanted. Nathan outright yelled at Angela and that’s when the female on the bed after giving birth outright shut the hell up.
Angela was basically caught between two men that were the best of friends, even though one is from Indiana and the other is from South Alabama. However, she did ask about Jessica’s well being, mostly because she wouldn’t want her rival and childhood friend to die. Nathan told Kevin and her that Jessica gave birth to Ashley and Theresa, at the same time as her. Angela outright hated that, which there is definitely a demon at work here. She grumbled some more and cursed at god for this inconvenience, it was a bit extreme. But she wasn’t really a church goer at all, which helped her in the long run in some cases. Kevin just face palmed at this and asked Nathan to kindly to leave and return to his wife so he doesn’t have to get an ear full of this shit. Nathan agreed and left Kevin and Angela to bicker about everything.
Angela lived her life as best as possible, with basically forcing her firstborn daughter Pauline to take care of the little sisters instead. Angela definitely couldn’t take a joke and didn’t enjoy it neither. However, a year later all this changed she at least had to act like she cared. It was because her husband Kevin Victor Heartily had to join the United States Military in the US Marines Corps. Only because he was friends with Nathan and wanted to do something other than staying at home worrying about everything. However, he told his firstborn daughter to keep Angela in check since she does love her more than anything. It is obvious that this is the only way he can keep an eye on his wife without being here. Kevin wanted to at least repay Elliot for telling him how Gregory Iain Heartily fought for his country bravely as a US Marine. He wanted to make his mother stop grieving in Mobile, Alabama by showing that the Heartily Family can come back from a war. However, he was grateful his brother Steve wasn’t allowed to join the war because of his physical traumas basically a broken tendon, twisted leg and slight annoyance of being a Traditionalist in his family.
Four Years Later, Linde had a major problem from the get go, her mother absolutely didn’t love her at all. As well, her twin sister was having the same problems but hid it better. However, what was a shock was that Kevin returned from the war being honorably discharged since he was injured but alive. He protected his best friend from dying to enemy fire but only being injured in the leg in the return. He was grateful he saved Nathan even though he couldn’t finish the war. When he returned to his home he met his twin daughters and gave them a hug. It would take a long time for his leg to heal, which would probably be when the war ends. However, he didn’t really notice anything to different about them at first until Linde asked her father about why does mother hates me. It took that one instance to basically get him annoyed and call his wife into the room. Angela saw Kevin injured and was terrified, however, she felt like he was going to lecture her. However, she rebutted him by saying if he hadn’t left for war she could have done other things. Instead of taking care of the worthless kids, which deserve to go to hell, I didn’t want them at all. It was the second time she had spoken these words out loud, which she cared not of her children’s feelings what so ever.
Kevin was utterly shocked in what she said, it’s like her goal is to destroy this family from the inside. He calmly told her, they will talk later, however, he asked his daughters how their day was. The pleasantries were mostly about how Linde threw a temper tantrum in preschool again but the Preschool Teacher put a good word in to help her get into Kindergarten. He was proud of his daughters in becoming a Kindergartner. It was a step forward to reach her full potential as an academic. Even though it’ll take a while for that to happen, since they haven’t really figured out the proper ideal thing.
Linde couldn’t help but feel a bit frustrated, however, when she went to bed. She heard the biggest of fights in the front room, it was between her mother Angela and her father Kevin. Kevin basically yelled at her for about hours on hours about her obligations to her daughters. Including, that he told her that he wants four total children instead of just the one she wanted. This made Angela literally tell him to go fuck himself sideways with a rusty shovel. The additional of children is something she had never had to deal with. It’s mostly because of the fact she’s an only child, which her parents pushed onto her to only have one. This was finally out of the bag in why she didn’t enjoy giving birth to Sasha then Linde on her birth of all things. Angela and Kevin slept in different rooms for right that second since one he was utterly exhausted and couldn’t keep up yelling at his wife for her stubbornness. She grumbled about something, since she was in contact with someone that’s related to Kevin but didn’t say anything about it.
Kevin took his daughters to the park, the next day, which was on April 16, 1945. He met Jessica and asked his daughters to play in the park with Jessica’s two daughters she brought with her. The parents talked about important things, which would go over the head of Linde at least. It’s mostly because she wants her mother’s attention badly and cannot get it. However, she had her first true interaction with Theresa. Theresa was being a nice little girl introducing herself. While Linde just started being mean and hateful towards Theresa with her words, repeating word for word what her mother told her to say. It was a bit of a thing, since it caused Theresa to cry. However, this caused Pauline to tell her little sister, who has an attitude problem to apologize. But, Linde wouldn’t apologize what so ever to Theresa and saying, if I have to apologize to her I would rather die of envy. Pauline gently smacked Linde on the face and told her to apologize or Kevin and Jessica will get involved. Linde reluctantly apologized to Theresa, it was a half hearted apology. But its better than having Kevin or Jessica get involved into this fight. She couldn’t help but feel a bit terrified when her father Kevin and Jessica walked up to them. Kevin looked at Pauline and then at Linde and sighed deeply. Heavily frustrated at Angela’s darkening influence on their daughters. When Jessica told him goodbye he said it back and told her good luck in her endeavors.
Kevin took awhile to return home with his three daughters since he wanted to take a detour to get some groceries. It was an uneventful trip to the grocery store at least but when they got home. He literally looked directly at his daughter Pauline and asked why she smacked Linde’s face. Pauline told him specifically the reasons why, she was being completely antisocial to Theresa and cursed at her. As well, as what she said when she didn’t want to apologize. Kevin looked at Linde and sighed. He hugged Linde deeply and told her he loves her no matter what but living in this house is hurting her. In terms, he told her the honest truth that her mother Angela will never love her. It’s the cold hard truth but Linde outright ran to her room crying, because she couldn’t believe it. If she never will love her then why does she talk to her. However, Linde was going to have a rude awakening sooner or later about what her father said is one hundred percent true.
April 6, 1946 was a miserable day for the Heartily Family as a whole, Kevin or Pauline had no idea where Angela was. Kevin was at the Walton’s Home having a returner home party for Nathan. Since he was a bit worried in how bad the injury was and they did get injured in the same place. It was only five days after their daughter’s sixth birthday and 7 days away until Pauline’s 15 year birthday. Kevin was talking niceties about certain things in their life, basically about his frustration at certain things. How their day has been and whispered to his friend Nathan that he doesn’t have any idea where his wife is at. This information kinda worried Nathan hopefully nothing bad happens at their daughter’s elementary school. Nathan agreed that it was a definite god send, even though he will probably never be able to fight again in a war. AT least he fought for five years in World War II and had enough of that experience to last him a lifetime.
When Nathan brought up that he should relax and recover in a happy tone before having another child. Since he can barely move his left leg, it’ll take at least two years at most to be much better off. Jessica wasn’t surprised in the least, which it was better to wait. If anything, their daughters need to grow up first before adding another addition. Kevin laughed slightly, which he asked about they both having another kid at the same time again, where the birth happens three years and 12 days from now. It intrigued Jessica and Nathan in why he specifically picked April 18, 1949. Kevin basically said, that’s when something special happens, ala, the truth of what Angela is hiding. Nathan sighed when he said that because he knew exactly what Angela’s been hiding, however, his wife Jessica on the other hand had no clue.
Kevin knew the look on Jessica’s face it was heavily curious in what is going on, however, she’ll rather wait for a certain time frame before knowing. Linde was at school while her father was at Theresa’s house celebrating the return of Nathan. However, there was a guest speaker at her school in her classroom, which was odd. It was no other than her own mother Angela Tina Heartily for some odd reason. However, Angela started talking in a slight drunken state really angry looking directly at the two twin sets in the classroom. She absolutely despised Jessica, Nathan, Kevin and everyone who has more than one child, which included herself. Angela went off big time on Sasha and Linde, completely and utterly yelling at them calling them every single name under the sun, including worthless piles of trash. But she started to curse at the other students as well, which gave her a smile on her face when Linde and Sasha shrink in their chairs and tried to hide from their mother’s outburst. Linde was definitely terrified in what was happening, it made her realize that her father Kevin was completely right.
Linde started to cry uncontrollably at the announcement from her mother Angela’s announcement. However, Linde couldn’t really understand why her own mother would come to their school drunk. Angela was dragged off of the premise by the cops, and told her not to come back into the school. When it was time to get out of school, she knew she would have to walk by her mother, which terrified her. However, she saw a bit of a scene, that shocked her it was Theresa basically yelling at Angela for being unjustly cruel. Something snapped in her when Angela smacked Theresa onto the ground, she basically came to Theresa’s rescue. She told her mother to stop, and Angela did for a split second. Angela reasonably was a bit shocked to have her daughter finally stand up to her. However, she said to her daughter one more time, better not ever try anything like protect anyone nor love anyone since they will all use you. It’s how the world works, and its better to be the user than the used. Angela walked back to home. Theresa was utterly shocked in what Linde did to her, however, Linde backhandedly tried to say something what she’s not thinking. It was instinct to do what she did, anyone would do the same for her, she hoped. Linde told Theresa that her mother was going to be her senseless until she was unconscious, since Angela is definitely mean.
Linde stayed crying and asked Theresa if she could come home with her since Kevin is at Theresa’s house. And please only tell our dads about the incident since your mother would be furious. It wouldn’t be a good idea to involve our mothers since mine just said she hates yours. They made it to the Walton Home, at least it is closer to the school than not. Kevin was interrupted with his party, when Linde walked into the front room crying her little eyes out. It hurt him, however, what was worse was what happened to Theresa it heavily made the mood sour. Nathan almost broke his no cursing code for once in his life. However, he calmed down and knew his wife would be able to help calm down Linde.
April 18, 1949 was a quite a wonderful time for Linde herself. However, not as much as it could’ve been since she had a new little sister, which her mother didn’t once cared about. Angela was definitely not a happy mother who gave birth to another child. After bringing home Heather, she made her husband Kevin and the other children take care of it. It was definitely obvious, she lost her drive to even care the slightest. As long as she saw her daughter Pauline, she would at least talk to her a bit but nothing more than that. It was a sad day for the entire Heartily Family, which made Linde even more unstable in her school. She constantly got into fights and what not because of her mother’s outright detachment to her younger children.
However, she heard her mother and father get into a fight, which escalated into something that made Kevin shut up for awhile. It was the suggestion that Sasha, Linde and Heather moved to Mobile, Alabama to live with Steve. This suggestion made Kevin really angry and walked out of the door to do something, which basically made his older daughter Pauline responsible for Sasha, Linde, and Heather. Pauline was more of a mother figure to her little sisters than their own mother was. It was a bit troubling, but they didn’t really know where their father went to cool his head off. Since, Sasha and her was definitely felt a chill down their spine when their mother said those exact words. Because they knew how much their father doesn’t want to ever see his twin brother Steve after they got into an ideological war between the old ways and new.
April 19, 1952, it was exactly 3 years later, which was another trying time for the Heartily Family. Angela started getting into hardcore drugs, drinking much more heavily and even smoking to fall deeper into darkness. She was extremely even more so angry and aggressive to her children, including Pauline. It is like she lost who she was altogether and couldn’t ever get out of the darkness because she lost hope for herself. However, there was some light in the tunnel Sasha, Linde and Heather was adopted into the Walton Family. Linde was against the entire thing since she always fought with Theresa in school. However, the reasons for that is because her innate wanting to be front and center of attention. But Theresa was much more popular, which she couldn’t really handle. When they arrived to the Walton Family home, they were welcome with open arms. The Walton’s specifically Jessica took it on herself to show the three newcomers something other than the hate they witnessed. Linde learned very early on, her mother Angela had a restraining order on her to never see her younger children again. It is only because of the fact of how cruel and mentally unstable Angela has became.
Linde was slightly still remembering what her mother had said about the Walton Family, through one of her drunken stupors. It made her run to Theresa’s room specifically and start crying about never being allowed to see her mother again. Even though, her mother was the reason for her outbursts in School and why she was going with a bad crowd in school. Her mother’s self-destruction was cataclysmic to the Heartily Family, which is saying something since Angela wasn’t that sound of mind when marrying Kevin. However, Theresa walked into her own room and noticed Linde crying, it made her hurt a bit about the whole thing. She decided to do the only thing she thought was right, which was hugging and kiss Linde on the cheek. Theresa told Linde, ’everything will be alright, you will never have to go down the dark path because of what your mother did to you.’ These words made Linde sincerely start crying and realize that all the words that her mother was filling her with was lies.
It caused Linde to do the one thing that shocked Theresa big time, which was kissing her directly on the lips and finally apologizing to her. In terms of all the times she beat up Theresa, while going to school. However, it seems the damage done to her was permanent since from that day, she’ll will never be a proper A+ Valedictorian in her school. However, it made her truly fall in love with Theresa in helping her out of the darkness, which she was about to fall into alike her mother. Theresa made her blush by saying, she looks adorable crying since she is. It made her definitely smile at that, which is the reason why the two girls live in the same room since there’s an extra bed in Theresa’s bedroom. This is because Jessica made sure to get extra beds for the new additions to the Walton Family. It was a bit of a strange thing to feel loved for Linde. However, her twin sister Sasha and her younger sister Heather were definitely enjoying the change of pace in feeling loved by an actual caring mother.
However, a few months later, a strange letter arrived for her, which had Devin Stephan Heartily on it. It was a love letter, which creeped her out completely and made her feel gross. She didn’t want to respond to the letter since it might make him send more letters to her. The one thing she’s grateful for she found love already and it was Theresa Linde Walton, rather than someone who is related to her. She showed Jessica the letter, which was a bit appalled in the letter in the cutesy words of affection and what not. It was definitely a gag reflex to the letter in question, which Jessica tossed it in the trash. Jessica would trash these letters specifically from Devin or anyone from Steve’s family. Because Cousins shouldn’t be dating or marrying each other since that’s just wrong.
Linde barely graduated High School with only a C+ Grade at most. It was May 31, 1958, which was almost four months after the Declaration of War in Vietnam. However, this was the month where Linde and Theresa was given their promise rings by Jessica after graduating High School. It was basically a late birthday present gift, which the Walton Family had to save up for them. She wanted her two daughters to live happily, even though she didn’t want them to go to the Vietnam War. However, Linde told Jessica, it would be better to fight against the Communists than allowing them to control the world. It showed a bit of a slight thing, which she wanted to show up her mother in some way. Even though, she has no idea what is happening with her mother.
Jessica wondered if her own daughter will join the war, with Linde. However, the look on Theresa’s face was definitely square on protecting and being protected by Linde. It was a sad day, however, at least their twins didn’t really know what to do. Jessica told them good luck in their training at boot camp if they truly wanted to join the same branch as Nathan and Kevin before them. The two of them, whom was answering the call to join the war. They were driven to the nearest recruiting office specifically for the US Marines by Nathan specifically. Since he works as a contractor for building the neighborhood in Huntsville now. But he will always miss being a US Marine in the Second Great War.
They had to go through evaluations before joining the US Marine Corps, which was only because of Linde’s specific problems within her school. It was a slight red flag to the recruitment officer in the US Marine Recruitment Building in Huntsville, Alabama. However, she answered all the recruitment officer’s questions completely and truthfully. She wanted to specifically join the military to help out her country against the North Vietnamese because Communism is bad. Her father even fought in the Second Great War, even though not for long. The Recruitment Officer was a bit skeptical about Linde joining the war, but Theresa vouched for her saying, she was saved from the darkness. He sighed with a bit of annoyance since he constantly remembers an old geezer, which constantly comes in here to talk about the good old days of World War 1. His last name is the same as Theresa’s, which made him rub his forehead.
He knew how much the US Government needs new recruits into every branch of the military, and he accepted them in the US Marines. Basic training, will take until June since it is 12 weeks long plus 4 days of in-processing time. If they at least deal with Basic, they will be sent to Vietnam. However, if there is any type of delay they will have to wait to be deployed in Vietnam at least next year. Because it’ll be tough since its to break you down then build you back up. If it wasn’t for Theresa’s clothes she was wearing after graduating High School and willing to join the Military directly at 18 years old with Linde. Linde wouldn’t have any chances to join the military because of her mental deficiencies with specifically her mother Angela. There was a shocker to Linde in hearing the name of the Recruiter, which is Nikolas Leo Smith. He is Angela’s younger brother, but their parents never told Angela that she had a younger brother.
The Basic Training was rough for Linde, even more than on anyone else in it. However, she tried her hardest to at least pass it. There was many things that was a pain in the ass, the biggest was how damned early they had to wake up. She tried not to show her emotions as much since the Drill Sergeants, would love a cry baby to yell at. They basically preemptively targeted Linde since she had many problems and prone to tears. It took at least until half way through her basic training she started to toughen up a bit and took no real shit from anyone. It was basically how she was called ’Wild Rebel’ because of her fighting style. She had much pent up anger in her, which was a definite nice thing for the Marine Corps. It’s probably because of the fact of her mother not carrying for her, which she always fought dirty in school. She gained a bit of a following from the other girls in basic, in terms of the training camp in Alabama. Even though she usually stayed hanging around Theresa since they wore matching rings.
When Basic Training was finished, it was a bit shocking to be honest for her, she actually done something that wasn’t in the shadow of her mother. It felt invigorating compared to all the times she felt helpless or completely frustrated at her mother Angela. For not loving her alike a true mother, at least she does have a more true mother now than she did, which is Theresa’s mother. It was very relieving, however, the answer of the results of her basic training. It was shocking to say the least, it wasn’t great where she would start at a higher rank but basically as average as her grades were in school. Therefore, she would start out as a Private. However, there was even more bad news, her wave of soldiers to the frontlines of Vietnam would be delayed until 1959. It was mostly because of they had to be transferred to a certain point to reach their destination. Alabama, all the way to Vietnam would take awhile to reach the start of their military careers.
1959: She arrived in the Vietnam Jungles in the Third Wave, which was a bit of a frustrating thing. However, the Sergeant is named Lucas J. Whittaker, who she was a bit excited to join in arms. Even though in her head she didn’t really enjoy being around men, unless they show if they aren’t outright distrustful. It’s mostly because of the fact she’s worried for Theresa’s safety that’s about it. As long as she does something good for her country, she doesn’t really mind what rank she started as, ala Private. She’ll do whatever it takes to help her and Theresa to get home. However, Vietnam is not alike World War I nor World War II for instance, since its definitely in the deep jungles of Vietnam. Having to deal with a Communist menace of the North Vietnamese. Linde doesn’t really know the person above the Sergeant, ala the Captain for that instance. However, she’ll probably learn about who that is sooner than later.
---P E R S O N A L I T Y T R A I T SMother Issues: Linde’s biggest problem is the fact her mother Angela T. Heartily was an utter bitch to Sasha, Heather and her. Basically didn’t like the joke of having Sasha and Linde on April 1, 1940, three minutes apart. She had never once gotten the well needed love from her mother, only hate and dismissive behavior. It made her definitely a problem child during her growth, got into many fights because of it.
Spirited Youth: Linde was a spirited youth, as much as the next person. She was definitely a child that was definitely misunderstood, not even her father really knew what was wrong with her. In that case, she was basically a rebel or black sheep to what authority figures in her life. She was intelligent though, but misused that intelligence to basically get her way in fights she would have.
Caring: Unlike her mother Angela, she was definitely much more caring to people in her life. When they showed her the truth about the matters of the heart and soul. She took the adoption to the Walton Family, the hardest and realized one simple fact her mother caused all her problems. However, she never will ever see her mother in a different light other than being a cruel bitch, which it took Theresa to show her these things.
Creeped Out/Distrusts Men: Linde outright doesn’t really like men, in a sense of love type of way. It was mostly because of the fact her father Kevin wanted her to pursue her own way of the heart. It’s the primary reason she is in love with Theresa and outright hates the creepy nature of her cousin Devin. It’s the primary reason why she tries to protect Theresa from any of those creepy men that want her for outright outlandish things. It is one of the reasons why she’s straight up homosexual.
Kinda of a Bitch: Linde is somewhat alike her mother and shows people her slightly darker side, when they don’t show her any amount of respect. She makes sure they will know it by an easy punch to the face or giving them an insult. It shows them, she wants to protect the only love in her life and that is Theresa Linde Walton.

”I have to say… I wish my mother loved Sasha, Heather and me. It wouldn’t be so hard on me if she actually said that word at least once… But all she said is ’Worthless Kids go to hell, I didn’t want you.’ It is heartbreaking to be honest… but the alternative would be living with my Uncle’s family in Mobile, Alabama. My father requested his friend’s family to adopt Sasha, Heather and me. I am happy for that decision even though it is depressing, I will never be able to reconcile with my mother because of her words of cruelty towards me. I’ve always had mother issues because of that, it’s probably why I get into fights a ton and constantly get in trouble with anyone and everyone. Sasha and Heather on the other hand is handling it a bit better than I am. I didn’t really want to live with the Walton’s, its mostly because I thought their mother Jessica would be exactly alike mine. I even fought with Theresa Linde Walton a few times… I wish I hadn’t punched her but it was the words of my mother that made me do it all those times. Theresa’s will was extremely strong and never once fought back against my temper tantrums in and out of school. It was always threw me off in why she allowed herself to be my punching bag.”

”When I was adopted into the Walton Family, I learned one specific thing. Jessica was the complete opposite of my mother in every single way, she was the kindest woman in the world. She’s probably the reason why Theresa never once fought back against me. It made me tear up and cry for about a long time, but when Theresa walked in on me crying… she shocked me in what she did. She gave me a hug and kissed me on the cheek and said ’Everything will be alright Linde, you will never have to go down the dark path because of what your mother did to you.’ However, I shocked her by kissing her back directly on the lips because of her kindness, showed me I was always wrong in fighting her when she never fought back. In the back of my head it made me particular realize one little thing, my mother was outright lying and trying to spread false rumors of the Walton’s this whole time. It is the one of the reasons, I didn’t want to be adopted in the first place. However, I want to talk to Jessica and her family and really get to know them better than what a bitch of a mother said about them. I’m grateful to Theresa in showing me the truth and I love her and will never leave her side.”

“Theresa means the world to me, and I will never leave her side. She showed me that lies of a deceitful woman were just that, because I thought Jessica was a mean and hateful mother too. All because of my spiteful, hateful non-caring mother Ashley. The kindness she showed me in comforting me made us lovers and I will always protect her from anyone who dares to harm her feelings alike I tried all those years ago. Even though I still cannot really get over my mother issues because Ashley’s words to Sasha, Heather and me constantly go through my head and… I shake because of them. At least I have a supporter that keeps me going and trying to stop me of looking unto the past. I will probably never will forgive Ashley for what she had done to me.”

-D E T A I L E D A P P E A R A N C E Theresa stands at 5’7” tall, which is the average for the Walton Family.
However, she’s not really mind any gender since she’s pretty much bisexual but she wants to stay faithful to her lover Linde nonetheless.Theresa was always taught to be truthful, thoughtful and always understanding of other people’s feelings. It’s a bit of a doctrine within her family, which was a bit of an overarching thing. This was mostly because its from her mother Jessica, which constantly tried to make friends in the most thoughtful and truthful of ways. Even if the person in question was not truthful, it was just how they react to the inquiries that made them closer. Because of this reasoning in her family’s soul was the one of the reasons for her having a slight crush on a girl by the name of Linde. The primary reason is because of the fact, she did notice her temper tantrums and constantly getting into fights with people whom underestimated a girl. As well, she was slightly envious about Linde’s intelligence the smartest girl in school whom didn’t really need to do much to stick with A+ grades. If it wasn’t for the inner darkness of Linde that caused her to be not a A+ student but more like a C+ Student. It was a bit off pointing, why or what caused the smartest girl in school to be only able to basically almost barely pass.
However, it smacked her right in the face, when she met the cause of Linde’s darkness. Angela, was the reason and it showed how much Linde’s bitch of a mother truly was that in all respective. If it wasn’t for this rude meeting, she wouldn’t have ever met Angela and saw the mean and hateful woman for what she was. However, she kinda thought Linde’s older sister and father was the same as Angela. It would take a bit to figure out the fact, that wasn’t the case. She was directly able to try to tell Linde that she had a slight crush on her but every time she tried to tell her. She would get Linde’s fist in her face, however, she never once tried to fight back because of her mother’s doctrine. It hurt her much trying to keep herself at bay from fighting Linde. Because of how dirty Linde was fighting a defenseless girl like herself, however, she knew how to fight. But she didn’t want to fight someone she had a deep crush on. It constantly made her blush every single time she saw Linde walk by. However, it was obvious Linde didn’t know how to express her true feelings at all. Since it was plain as day for her, which Linde had a crush on her.
Theresa decided to make friends with Linde’s sisters since they were definitely reacting to their mother’s neglect differently. It caused her to distrust her feelings on Pauline since Sasha and Heather call their older sister very caring and nice. The complete opposite of their mother, to be honest it was night and day. Even though their older sister had to deal with her own problems with being used by people who were trying to push her away from her younger sisters. It was mostly morons who underestimated Linde’s strength. Kinda depressing to say the least, in her mind, which made her ask her mother if they could adopt Sasha, Linde and Heather. Because there’s a horrible alternative to whatever was being planned to what would happen to them. Jessica wanted to but didn’t believe Theresa that the problems of those three little girls were because of her childhood friend Angela. It took until Kevin came to the house, which threw Theresa’s thoughts of him for a loop, when he begged Jessica to adopt his younger three daughters. This specific event was on her 10th birthday, which shook her a bit. However, he told the reason why he wanted the Walton Family to adopt his youngest three daughters was Angela. This shocked Jessica a bit much hearing this and had to ask the children in question about if that’s true. Sasha was there with her father and waved at Theresa, which told Jessica every little thing that Angela was doing. It was a definite made Jessica curse a bit and shouldn’t have helped her in getting a boyfriend/husband if she was going to do this. It was a bit of a shock to hear her mother to curse like that, however, she usually does curses whenever she wants. This is a different side of Jessica that only comes out in a sports bar.
Additionally, she learned how much Linde loved her by what she did when she told her everything will be alright. By the sudden straight up kiss on the lips that gave her a shock to her system, because it was a bit surprising to be honest. She was definitely happy with this, they basically made up without fighting anymore even though Linde has much to get over. Her biggest fear is Angela being forced to marry her cousin Devin, which creeps her out. She’s always great with the feminine style of clothing, she loves wearing dresses and what not. However, she can’t really be bothered with changing outfits if it is made in that way. It’s mostly because of the fact, the Walton Family been in the military for most of their lives. She’s pretty good at playing cards and joking really well. She’s bisexual because of the fact she would rather be flexible in that aspect. However, she would want to meet the perfect man whom would want to help Linde not distrust men as much. Even though, it was her mother Angela that caused all this in terms of distrusting men in the first place. She wants to see her lover happy as possible, which is the reason why she would never cheat on her. It’s better if Linde and her would agree on a suitable man together. She’s also a bit of a trickster in certain aspects of her life and would rather be friendly and kind to everyone who wants to talk to her.
---B I O G R A P H YJessica Luna Walton and Nathan Leon Walton gained two new additions on April 1, 1940, which were three minutes apart from each other. Theresa Linde Walton was born at 5:00 PM in Room 200 of the Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Jessica was absolutely delighted in having twin daughters on today because its the same birthdate as her best friend Angela. It was a bit too much to ask for that Angela would love all her children equally and not do anything stupid. However, Jessica wasn’t really that good at reading her childhood friend, mostly because of the fact they were basically rivals most of their life. Jessica was outright bashful and talking kindly towards her husband, and asked to go check on his friend Kevin. Since the two families picked Crestwood to give birth at, it was where Angela and Jessica was born anyway. Nathan told his wife, alright and walked from room 200 to 193, since that’s the room where his friend is.
However, Nathan walked in at a scene that was a bit awful and absolutely knew not to tell his wife anything that happened in that room. But he did graduate the two in having kids at the same time frames as Jessica. He came back slightly in a worse mood than he left and he sighed and sat down by his wife. Jessica saw Nathan’s attitude change, shift and the only person to cause that type of mood change is Angela. She was definitely a person who outright showed her true feelings towards males more than her. It was a gentle conversation, Jessica learned that Angela gave birth to Sasha Irina Heartily and Linde Kayla Heartily, at the exact same times as her. Sasha Irina Heartily and Ashley Vina Walton was born at the same time of 4:57 PM, while Linde Kayla Heartily and Theresa Linde Walton was born at the same time of 5:00 PM.
It gave her hope of the future, where the two youngest of the twins would fall in love and be happy together. Much better than Linde marrying one of her cousins, which lives in Mobile, Alabama. Jessica always talks about something that is possible only in certain ways, since she knows her firstborn daughter Catherine is best friends with Pauline. Nathan agreed that would be a wonderful thing, however, they would have to deal with many things before that happened. They were definitely excited for what the future will bring the Walton Family, including any additional children as well. However, they weren’t really prepared for the new additions they were going to gain via adoption since they never really thought that far ahead. It’s something of a hard pill to swallow but they will have to swallow it sooner than later. This would be the biggest hurdle they would have to deal with even more than Jessica and Nathan’s wedding. Mostly because her parents outright disapproved of the wedding altogether. The primary reason is because he abandoned his family in Indiana to live a simpler life, however, it took them to realize how much the two were in love to finally approve of the wedding. A basically a lawyer’s son moving to Huntsville, Alabama was a bit strange to be honest in their case. However, they didn’t really like lawyers to begin with anyways.
Elliot was an old dog, since he constantly talked about his sacrifices in the Great War, which was the first world war. He enlisted as a US Marine for those trying times, however, he was traumatized by the horrors of that war. It’s obvious that no one would fault the man who didn’t want to join another war like that. No matter the cost, he wouldn’t want to see anymore fellow Americans to die in a Great War. The one friend he did lose was Kevin & Steve’s father Gregory Iain Heartily, a great man nonetheless. Elliot is the one whom was the one who told Kevin and Steve that their father died a hero in the Great War. Steve was outright happy that his father died, while Kevin on the other hand was definitely hurt that his father died. It was like the two twin brothers were definitely oil and water in how they acted from this announcement. Elliot was heartbroken when he saw Amanda’s reaction to the news, completely and utterly crying in tears that her husband went to a war only to be announced dead. It was a horrible nightmare to say the sure, and Gregory was positive he would return alive.
However, a year later that will live in infamy and that will cause the United States of America to enter the World War II. The Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. Day later, the United States declared war on the Japanese Empire and this caused Nathan to join up to avenge his fellow Americans in that horrible attack on his fellow Americans. He joined up with the US Marines alike his father-in law did before him in WW1. It would be the only way to repay Elliot for his kindness in allowing Jessica and him to marry. However, he wouldn’t make any false promises to return after the war is over, which he didn’t know how long it would take. This was a definite trying time for Jessica mostly because she had to take care of her three children without her husband. At least, her mother and father was there to help in this trying time for her. Elliot was always proud of his daughter in every single way because of her no nonsense attitude to every little thing that happens. Catherine was one of the biggest outcry in seeing her father leave to World War II. She didn’t want him to leave and her younger sisters are too young to even know what’s going on.
Four Years Later, Theresa turned five years old and she was a very talkative child and constantly asked about where her father is. Jessica told her that he’s fighting in the war, but at least they had her grandparents over at the time. Theresa was going to start Kindergarten in August, but she was in preschool prior. She had a great time in preschool, she was basically a pretty smart kid. However, there was a smarter child in preschool and her name was Linde Kayla Heartily. Linde constantly started to cry and what not in preschool because of something in her life. It hurt slightly in her heart to see Linde constantly having temper tantrums but didn’t know why it was happening. She kept it to herself but her mother knew something was up with her. Jessica got it out of her daughter, and was a bit shocked in what her daughter said that Linde Kayla Heartily and her twin sister were having problems. It made Jessica pretty concerned about the whole matter but it couldn’t be any worse.
Jessica was given an update to how her husband Nathan was dealing with in the World War II. She was utterly shocked that Kevin protected Nathan’s life but in the end ended his military career in April 15, 1945. Theresa was sleeping so she didn’t hear her mother’s shock and terror in reading that letter. However, he told her to watch out for the truth of Angela. It confused Jessica, what the hell does my husband mean by that. It made her a bit curious in why he put that in his letter to her. However, she didn’t really want to confront Angela about this truth since it would be a bit stupid to be honest. Angela’s dealing with many things alike taking care of her children. However, she was curious in what trauma Sasha and Linde did have to cause them to be slightly unstable in their life.
The next day was basically the same old same old, which was after the terrifying shocking news. It was basically 15 days after her twin daughter’s birthdays. She took her daughters to the park in Huntsville, Alabama so they can run away and play. This is when she first hand saw Kevin with his three daughters in the same park. She told him sorry for not being there at his return trip, however, he did still look good from the get go. He was happy to be welcomed back by Jessica, he asked his daughters to go play. Kevin sat down and looked Jessica directly in the eye and asked her a specific question. Did your husband send you a letter about my wife. She shook her head yeah, but didn’t understand the mystery surrounding it. Kevin laughed at Jessica’s truthfulness since the one thing he liked about the Walton’s they were always truthful.
If it wasn’t for that he would think they would be very good liars. He told her in small details that her mental state is getting worse and constantly bitching about certain family details. Without telling her in the full detail that his wife is a bitch to Pauline’s little sisters. It wasn’t a great thing to deal with to be honest, he is honestly at his wits end and asked would Nathan and her help take care of the kids if things go south. Jessica nodded to that since she love children a bit too much, her father calls her a Saint. That takes everything too seriously, anyways. However, it’ll have to be whenever he truly tells her the truth of what’s going on. Since without that she cannot possibly adopt his children. Kevin had a smile with that, he knew how much of a kind lady Jessica is, its better to go through the proper channels. Instead of outright taking someone’s kids away from them if one of the parents were mentally sound.
Meanwhile, Theresa introduced herself to Linde and asked how she’s been. However, Linde couldn’t help but be a bit mean to Theresa. By calling her names alike her mother would call her, since she definitely got it from her mother. Theresa started to cry big time since it was definitely a massive insult for a five year old girl to know those types of curses. However, Theresa noticed Pauline basically told Linde to apologize to her. But what Linde said exactly made her older sister smack her on the face gently with a look of a bit of anger in her face. Pauline also added that do you want to involve dad and Theresa’s mother Jessica in this conversation. It made Linde shiver a bit since she wants to stay on the good side of her father Kevin, which she reluctantly apologized to her. It was a half hearted apology, however, Theresa accepted the apology. This was better than getting their parents involved, however, this made Theresa worried about Kevin’s daughters. It took awhile but Jessica and Kevin walked to their children. Kevin definitely noticed that Pauline was a bit forceful with Linde and he sighed. Jessica told Kevin goodbye since it would be a good time to take home Ashley and Theresa.
It was a bit after returning home, which Theresa asked her mother Jessica what it means to die of envy. This made Jessica raise an eye brow and looked at her daughter seriously for a second. However, she asked a simple question whom said those words. Theresa responded truthfully that it was Linde Kayla Heartily who said it. Jessica was a bit shaken but what shook her more was Linde cursed up a storm to her daughter Theresa with really mean and hateful words. She hugged her daughter and said don’t worry about what Linde said or her half hearted apology. It is only in Theresa’s best interest in trying to fight the darkness within Linde’s soul to show that its not all bad. This would be a goal of Theresa to gain a true friend for the most of her life.
April 6, 1946, was a great day within the Walton Family in terms of when Nathan came home with a similar injury as Kevin. He was honorably discharged from service because because he needed to recover at home. Jessica was so happy to see him but was crying that his leg was injured pretty badly. The new vehicles of war was a definite terrifying thing. It was only five days after their daughter’s sixth birthday. Kevin was at their house at this point just talking niceties about certain things in their life, basically coming home to their families alive. Nathan agreed that was a definite god send, even though he will probably never be able to fight again in a war. At least he fought for 5 years in World War II and had enough of that experience to last him a lifetime.
Nathan looked at his wife and happily said, it’ll be better to wait on another child until he’s fully recovered or at least better than he is now. Barely able to move his left leg, it’ll take at least two years at most to be much better off. Jessica didn’t really take it as much of a surprise, it is better to wait. If anything, their daughters need to grow up first before adding another addition. Kevin laughed slightly, which he asked about they both have a kid at the same time as well, where the birth happens 3 years and 12 days from now. It intrigued Jessica and Nathan in why he specifically picked April 18, 1949. Better to have a child when there’s no war going on. Basically saying that’s when something special happens, ala, the truth of what Angela is hiding. Nathan knew it full well in what truth she’s hiding, however, Jessica had no clue in the matter.
If anything, it made Jessica much more curious in what is going on, however, she will rather wait for a certain time frame before. Theresa was at school while her father returned home, however, there was a guest speaker at her school. It was no other than Angela Tina Heartily for some odd reason. This was a bit odd, however she announced her intentions very well. She absolutely despised Jessica, Nathan, Kevin and everyone who has more than one child, which includes herself. Angela was definitely intoxicated while at the school and was cursing at the students in Linde, Sasha, Ashley and Theresa’s classroom. She had to be escorted off of the premise since she was scaring the kids, especially Linde.
Linde couldn’t help but cry at the announcement from her mother, it is like she finally realized something. However, Theresa couldn’t really help but understand this is where Linde’s darkness was coming from a cruel bitch of a mother was the cause all this time. Tormenting her children and probably going to continue to do that. It was time to get out of school and she approached Angela, who was still near the School. She couldn’t help but tell Angela that she should really get her life together and stop being a bitch. However, this is when Angela smacked Theresa really hard on the face and basically told her its none of her business. It was a large speech about she’s wasted her entire life just to have four children, when she didn’t want to have three of the four. It basically took Angela’s daughter Linde to stop her mother from beating the living shit out of Theresa. Theresa was a bit shocked in what Linde did. Theresa couldn’t really get a straight answer from Linde in why she done what she did. But what Linde told her about how mean Angela is, in terms of what she can easily do to a six year old girl is usually beat them to death if she truly wanted to. It is the only real reason why Jessica and Angela never tried to kill each other.
Theresa sighed and learned that Kevin was at her home, she agreed to take Linde home with her. It took awhile until they got home, which Kevin and Nathan learned what happened with Theresa. This was one of the most shocking things that Angela has ever done. Kevin was now suspicious about what his wife is planning with his children. Nathan was a bit furious about everything, but he couldn’t break his cursing code just yet. It was a bit of a struggle not to curse up a storm to yell at Angela for being a complete and utter bitch. He walked to his study while walking with a cane to it since he was still recovering from his injuries. Jessica was irked by seeing Linde K. Heartily crying and hugging her father Kevin. It hurt whom she is, which is a bit much to say the least. She tried to calm down Linde with doing something else besides crying, in terms fixing her something to eat. She even fixed her children the same thing since they loved her cooking. It did calm down Linde eating at a table, however, she had to go back home with her father to their house. She at least thanked Jessica for the meal, even though it hurts what happened to her in school. Theresa so desperately wanted to help Linde but didn’t know how.
April 18, 1949 was a quite wonderful time for the Walton Family and specifically Theresa herself. It was mostly because she gained a little sister, which was definitely a great thing. Her parents were excited in bringing home Maria Hilda Walton, who was the newest addition. Theresa was happy to meet her sister, as a cute little baby girl. She held her for a bit but gave her back to Jessica, since she needed to sleep. Catherine was having a slight attitude problem, since her mother had to deal with another baby girl and not having any time for her. However, Catherine got called by her mother, which made her jump slightly it is like her mother knew exactly what was wrong with her. Theresa all she did was giggle cutely at her older sister being a slightly of a worry wort. She had an okay day at her school, even though she did get into another fight with Linde. It was frustrating for her to deal with that whole thing if it wasn’t for the darkness within Linde.
However, a bit later, when the whole family was eating at dinner with their newborn daughter was sleeping soundly. A knock happened on the door, and it was a pretty angry knock, which Jessica got up and answered the door. It was no other than Kevin at the door, very very angry. He couldn’t hold it in anymore the secrets had to be revealed to Jessica. Kevin watched as Theresa walked in the room with a slight worry on her face. Theresa wondered what Kevin would have to say, since she kinda thought Kevin was alike his wife Angela. However, the biggest shock came when Kevin begged Jessica to take care of his children, Sasha, Linde, and Heather. It was only because of his wife has completely lost her marbles.
Angela outright suggested that the three of the four of his children move to Mobile, Alabama to live with Steve. This caused Jessica for a second to realize what Nathan was telling her and now here it is the truth right in the front of her. The reason for Linde’s darkness was because of Angela this whole time. Jessica walked into the kitchen and got a glass of water and sipped on it. She looked directly at Kevin and promised him to take care of Sasha, Linde and Heather. However, the first thing she did was curse up a storm and was definitely knowing that Angela was completely irredeemable for her actions. She always could never tell what was up with Angela, but Angela also had some form of darkness in her life. There was one single thing that Angela told her, which made her realize why she’s been acting like this. It should have been more obvious, but Angela and Jessica went their separate ways after that. Theresa wondered what her mother realized, but hearing her mother curse like that was a bit shocking.
Her mother has never cursed in her whole time alive, however, it seems like that cursing clause was finished now. It caused her to say, that Angela is a cruel bitch of a mother to Sasha, Linde and Heather. It made Jessica looked at Theresa and sighed and told her not to curse like that even though its the truth. This showed Jessica how much her children has grown up with their own thoughts and ideas, it is probably because of what happened to Theresa. Theresa was hit by Angela because she was drunk at school, it was a heavy blow to Jessica’s resolve to be friends with Angela. However, this was the final straw, since Kevin outright hates twin brother, which lives in Mobile, Alabama.
April 19, 1952, it was exactly 3 years later, which was when Sasha, Linde and Heather would be moving into the Walton Family. Theresa was abated with hope that Linde would take this as a correct and good move to heal. However, when Kevin and Pauline came with the three in question. Pauline was trying to hold back her tears about how horrible her mother is doing, which was a bit of a shock to Jessica. Jessica asked Kevin about what was going on about Angela. Kevin told her that Angela was basically drinking, taking hardcore drugs and smoking heavily, which made her completely hostile to the daughter she wanted. It was a turn around of awfulness, however, they told the three in question that they will be living in the Walton Family. Jessica hugged each of them including Pauline, who needed to stop crying since she’s 21 years old. It was definitely open arms, however, telling Linde that she will never see her mother Angela because of a Restraining order was harsh. Jessica needed to tear off that brand aid so it won’t hurt as much.
However, Linde was very much not really happy about what was said and ran towards Theresa’s Room. Theresa noticed, Linde was in tears and decided to take it upon herself to calm Linde down. Which she walked slowly into her room, with a smile on her face and noticed Linde crying on her bed. Linde looked very cute crying like that, it took her a bit to gain enough strength to walk up to Linde. Theresa did the one thing she thought was right, which was hugging and kiss Linde on the cheek. Theresa spoke to Linde, ’Everything will be alright, you will never have to go down the dark path because of what your mother did to you.’ These words pierced Linde’s heart, which Theresa saw sincere crying and the realization in her eyes. It was like that Angela was filling Linde with lies.
What Linde did next shocked Theresa big time, which was that she felt her first kiss being taken by Linde. It filled Theresa with happiness to finally felt the first kiss, which she wanted from the one she secretly had a crush on all this time. It was primarily because Linde was so highly intelligent even though she was pretty hard pressed in gaining friends. There was a reason, highly smart people require time to open up to other people. However, when Linde also apologized to her as well, it made her realize that she was grateful to her mother to never fight back with Linde. It was vindication of her sound stout doctrine in not hurting Linde in anyway. However, she learned a specific thing, Linde also had a crush on her. It made her smile cutely and giggle slightly and told Linde she was adorable while she was crying. It caused Linde to blush heavily, however, there was another bed within Theresa’s room. This made Linde a bit ask an odd question, like where they expecting them, which Theresa nodded. Jessica was always wanted to be prepared to make sure no one will feel left out in the Walton Family. However, Theresa was happy to hear that Linde’s Twin Sister and younger sister was much happier.
However, a few months later, Theresa noticed a letter specifically addressed to Linde from someone named Devin Stephan Heartily on it. Therefore, she gave Linde the letter since it was addressed to her, however, Linde gave out a specific gross vibe. Theresa was a bit confused and noticed it was a love letter from Linde’s cousin, which also made her gross out. If it wasn’t for the fact that Linde and her loved each other this letter would’ve probably actually persuaded Linde. It made her grateful that wasn’t the case, since Kevin made her smart to the fact that Steve is a not good influence. She saw Linde walk out of the room, which she read the love letter and its pretty obvious what she did. Theresa, knew that Linde gave Jessica the letter to destroy so she doesn’t have to see anymore like this. Because cousins shouldn’t be dating or marrying each other since that’s just wrong.
Theresa graduated High School with the highest grade of a B, which was only a bit better than Linde’s grade. It was May 31, 1958, which was almost four months after the Declaration of War in Vietnam. However, this was the month where Linde and Theresa was given their promise rings by Jessica after graduating High School. It was basically a late birthday present gift, which the Walton Family had to save up for them. Jessica wanted her two daughter to live happily, even though she didn’t want them to go to the Vietnam War. However, Theresa listened to her lover’s reasoning to join the war because they are all sound. It was definitely obvious, that Linde was trying to figure out a way to show up her mother Angela. However, Linde had no idea about what is happening with her mother.
Jessica had the look of if her daughter Theresa will join the war, with Linde. However, on her face was definitely square on protecting and being protected by Linde. Since Nathan works as a contractor for building the neighborhood in Huntsville now. However, her father will always miss being on the battlefield in the Second Great War as a US Marine.
Theresa was wearing, a beautiful flowered dress, which what she wore during her graduation. They had to go through evaluations before joining the US Marine Corps, which was only because of Linde’s specific problems within her school. The Recruiter said it was slight red flag to the joining the military, since they cannot stand anyone breaking down before they get on the battlefield. However, Linde answered all the questions the recruitment officer asked, which was definitely truthful and completely. Linde’s reasoning was sound to why she wanted to join the military because of Communism and the North Vietnamese. Each of their dad’s were apart of the Second Great War. The Recruitment Officer was a bit skeptical about allowing Linde to join the war, however, Theresa vouched for her. Her exact words was, Linde was saved from the darkness in her heart. He sighed with a bit of annoyance since he constantly remembers and old geezer, which constantly comes in here to talk about the good old days of World War 1. His last name is the same as Theresa’s, which made him rub his forehead.
He knew how much the US government needs new recruits into every branch of the military, and he accepted them into the US Marines. The Recruiter told them if it wasn’t for Theresa wearing what she is wearing and her outright lack of attitude problem, after graduating high school and willing to join the US Marines directly at 18 years old with Linde. Linde wouldn’t have any chances to join the Military because of her mental deficiencies with specifically her mother Angela. It was a bit of a shocker to Theresa more to hear the name of the recruiter, it was Nickolas Leo Smith. He is Angela’s younger brother, but their parents never told Angela that she had a younger brother.
The Basic Training was pretty easy on Theresa, however, it was mostly because some of the Drill Sergeants remember Elliot. However, she wished she didn’t get any favoritism because they are all there because of basic training. It was a bit of a shock, however, they were tricking her, which they turned up the pressure. It was as hard or even rougher on Theresa than Linde. Only because of how annoying to deal with a Walton, in boot camp. She was showing how much more scared she was only when she wasn’t around Linde, it specifically showed how vulnerable she was. It’s like she is a different person when she’s not around her mother, which actually cried it got some of the Drill Sergeants, laughing at Theresa. She actually cried on Linde’s shoulders a few times while dealing with the truth of not being around her strong mother and the harshness of Basic Training. They wore matching promise rings and she basically tried not to make any friends in Basic since she was truly in love with Linde. However, it was a bit shocking that Linde actually gained some friends in Basic, because of her fighting style. Theresa had a basically a fighting style that was completely opposite of Linde. However, she wasn’t cocky since she used to lose fights against Linde.
When Basic Training was finished, it was a bit shocking to be honest for her, she actually done something, which was alike most of the Walton’s. They break down only to be built back up again by the Drill Sergeants that really know how to break them. It felt a bit annoying for Theresa to learn, she could have easily been broken down like that even though she’s been around her mother all this time. This took her to realize, how much she relied on her mother for support and advice. It was the very first time she tried to be on her own and it terrified her a bit. At least, she had her lover with her or she’ll be utterly hopeless. However, she enjoyed Submachine Guns more than the other weapons, which were about to be sent to the Vietnam War. However, the results of her basic training was in and it was the same level as her lover, Linde. They both start at the rank of Private, which is because they were at least average with what they learned in Basic. However, there was even more bad news, the wave they will be going to the Vietnam War would be the third wave. It was only because of certain miscalculations of how quickly the two completed the training, which was three months in June. Therefore, they would be delayed another six months before they are allowed to join the Vietnam War as Privates in the US Marines.
1959: She arrived in the Vietnam Jungles in the Third Wave, which was alright to her she didn’t really mind. However, Linde on the other hand was heavily frustrated about taking so long to reach the war zone. She always had a bit of a humorous way of doing things since she always like taking the fun out of Linde. Sergeant Lucas J. Whittaker was definitely going to be excited to join arms in. Even though Linde on the other hand would have to warm up to certain men. It’s always because Linde distrusts them a bit too much when it involves her. She was in the same boat as Linde in terms of wanting to do something great for her country. Even though, she had to start at Private. She’ll do everything in her power to protect Linde and they will both return from this war back home. However, she’s not an optimist about this she wants it to happen, which is more of a realist of wanting to get back home even though this war might change her. The Previous wars changed her grandfather and her father differently, however, she had no idea what will happen to her in this Vietnam War. In terms of how broken she’ll become because of the war itself.
---P E R S O N A L I T Y T R A I T STruthful: Theresa was raised to be truthful in everything she does and says. It’s just how Jessica raised her children, which helps their entire family out in some outright hard times. She never tries to hide anything from any authority figure. It’s mostly because she is respectful of certain people in her life that are definitely authorities in certain things.
Kind & Doesn’t Fight Back: Theresa is a bit of an odd case, in terms of her family’s policy about fighting back. It isn’t pacifistic in nature, since they don’t really fight back against people whom have tons of problems and traumas in their life. However, she is heavily emphasized on forgiveness of someone who fought her with these said problems. It is one of the reasons why she gained a crush on Linde, because of how smart she was but going through a tough time.
Talkative: Theresa can talk for hours on end with a quick wit and a definite mischievous tone in her voice. It’s one of the reasons she usually gets people to do things that are heavily embarrassing to them. However, she is also talks to people she loves in a much more mature and gentle tone to show she’s always there for them.
Thoughtful: Theresa is very thoughtful towards people’s feelings as long as they aren’t Angela T. Heartily. She outright shows a disgust when people talk about Angela in a positive light since she is definitely the vision of evil. However, she always remind and shows that Linde is truly wanted in the Walton Family more than the Heartily Family.
Doesn’t Back Down: Theresa has a mentality alike her mother Jessica. When Jessica gets an idea in her head, she never backs down from what she has. It’s mostly because Jessica is heavily stubborn, which is the one reasons why Theresa picked to join the Vietnam War with her love of her life Linde. It was mostly because she got into her head the way for Linde to finally show up her mother Angela was join the war to make Angela pay for everything she caused to hurt the Heartily Family. As well, it is a reason why she got her mother Jessica to buy Linde and her promise rings.

---A F F I L I A T I O N SDiary Entry: Theresa’s Experience in the Walton Family
”I have to say, I feel so much happiness that I live in a very loving family. Jessica diligently gives everyone in the family the Walton Family Motto, ’May our light show other families that there is better things than fighting.
‘ The idealism is very strong in the motto, however, its the reason why the Walton Family is very well known in all corners of the US. We do everything to show we are supportive of our country no matter what. My father Nathan is a bit of a black sheep on his side of the family, mostly because he didn’t want to join the Smith and Sons Lawyer Firm in Columbus, Indiana. He would rather join something much bigger and fight it then fight in a Court Room. However, we gained three new additions to the family, which are named Sasha, Linde and Heather. They were adopted by my mother Jessica, who was completely appalled by being friends with that Bitch, Angela. When Sasha and Heather talked about how their mother treated them, however, Linde never once said anything.
It took her one day to start crying to realize the truth of the matter. I went and comforted her only to realize she loved me as much as I loved her. It’s probably the real reason I never tried to fight against her, only because she would have probably killed me if I did fight back. She was in the wrong crowd, always getting into fights and causing trouble for Huntsville. However, it took me to make her realize to stop going to the darkness and come over to the light since we have cookies, milk and kisses in bed. Also, Jessica’s parents are a bit annoyed that she married a Lawyer, which didn’t want to be one. It was a bit confusing to say the least, however, Nathan took their surname over keeping his original surname of Smith.”

”The Heartily Family had a specific person within it that was heavily toxic and always intoxicated, which took a joy in tormenting her children. She even showed hatred towards me one day. It was a bit shocking but I actually thought Kevin and Pauline were alike Angela, however, I was gravely mistaken. The mistaken part was when Kevin outright wanted my parents to adopt Sasha, Linde and Heather. This was a bit shocking and hard to swallow for me since Linde and me never really got along. But I never really fought back against her since my mother said never fight someone who’s going through a tough time. Learned specifically from Linde’s Twin Sister Sasha the reason why Linde was fighting everyone was because of the lack of love from Angela. This made me deep down hate the cruel bitch of a mother they had, since I always had a wonderful mother who loved us every single day of our lives. I was grateful she was never allowed to see the children that she didn’t want in the first place, and learned Angela never really enjoyed being friends with Jessica, my own mother. I see Pauline, who is Linde’s older sister as a sister as well. However, she told me one day that Angela only wanted her and no one else it is like her mother confided into her first born every little dirty secret.
The biggest secret I learned from Pauline was she was the reason why Sasha, Linde and Heather’s Uncle wanted to visit the house. It made me a bit disgusted in the matter because family shouldn’t marry within it. That is outright wrong and shouldn’t be a thing.”

“I deeply and truly love Linde with all my heart. She’s absolutely adorable, when she is crying and tearing up. It shows she has more than a single emotion of being angry all the time, its mostly because of her cruel bitch of a mother Angela not giving her anything like love and care. It made me regret a little bit by not trying to stop her from hitting me all those times she was frustrated about that. Her temper tantrums made her seem more beautiful than she was really, it was alluring to say the least. However, it was obvious I didn’t want to fight someone who was hurting it would probably make us hate each other if I did try to fight back. I protect her in ways no one will be able to understand, trying to fix a broken heart is harder than it looks. On one hand she enjoys living with our family but on the other she still wants her mother’s approval and attention. It’s obvious as light and day, she is very moody and has mood swings often. However, the one thing I am grateful of, is she’s not into boys, but the reason for that is because her cousin Devin wants her badly, it’s almost creepy how many letters she receives from him.”

Name
Miracle Morgan (Formerly Bian Nzuyen)
Gender
Female
Age
23, born April 1st 1936
Sexuality
Closeted Gay
Nationality
American, from Little Rock, Arkansas
Appearance
Miracle takes much more after her father than her, his dark hair, pale skin and freckles all being passed down to her. Most people assume that she's purely Caucasian, a mistake she never corrects. The only real trait she inherited from her mom was her height. Standing under five feet tall it's very easy to dismiss her as not much of a threat, an assessment she's always very happy to prove wrong. Underneath her clothing is rangy body made lean by her early years of hunger and toned by working out with her dad. Her strength is shown whenever she;s on patrol, carrying her anti-tank rocket and machine gun as easily as some men do their rifles.
When in the field Miracle wears the typical olive drab fatigues and webbing, decorating her helmet with slogans and patches picked up from various places. When at the FOB or preparing to go into the cramped rat tunnels she forgoes the jacket and helmet, choosing to wear just a tank top, pants and her holsters.
Height
4'9"
Personality
Overall, Miracle is best described as angry. Angry at the US government for sending her into some stupid war, angry at the VC bastards hiding in the trees and laying traps along the jungle floor, angry at her superior officers making her crawl around the rat tunnels with some CS gas and a pistol, angry at her parents for bringing her into this world and herself for not taking the easy way out. She handles all this anger by self-medicating and keeping her issues to herself, letting them build and build until she inevitably explodes. Her default expression is a bitter scowl, softening to a grim smirk or a cold snarl as needed.
Her complicated relationship with her parents and her ancestry has left Miracle with a intense dislike boiling on hatred of the locals she has to deal with. ARVN regulars are seen as nothing more than disposable shields, civilians are informants to be bullied for information and loot. Her knowledge of the language is used to sling insults and shake people down, all in an attempt to conceal her heritage from other members of her squad. Her sexual identity is hidden just as well, locked up out of fear over how others would see her.
The only time she can reach a state resembling relation is when she's high. A fascination with weed and prescription medication as a teen morphed into a full blown addiction. Six months of combat forced her to branch into other narcotics, picking up cocaine, heroin and LSD from the many unscrupulous servicemen with stateside connections.

Biography
Miracle Morgan was originally named Bian Nzuyen, the daughter of two immigrants. Her father Gael was a naturalized citizen of the U.S. and Marine with a fondness for drinking, gambling and women. Her mother Hau was a frightened new arrival from French Indochina who worked as a washerwoman and errand-runner. How they met was never explained but the result was a half Vietnamese, half-Welsh bastard whose father wanted nothing to do with her. Before she was even born he was gone, leaving behind some money and instructions for Hau to never contact him.
Bian spent the first decade of her life in poverty, wearing second and third hand clothes until they fell apart and eating only what could be bought in bulk or for pennies. There was no money for anything but the bare essentials, nothing was wasted. Nearly every meal consisted of rice, bread and whatever meat was left over at the butcher's shop. The rationing of World War 2 actually improved their diet, the Emergency Price Control Act allowing Hau to buy things like coffee and sugar for the first time.
Despite taking more after her father in terms of looks, Bian was still very distinct from her peers. Her mother's thick accent stuck with her for her early years, something she was mocked for in school. There was often little difference between the Japanese and other Asians in her classmate's eyes, and she quickly became known as "Jap" and "Zipperhead". The teachers did little if anything to stop it so she took it upon herself, scrapping with any and everyone that had a problem with her. It was a tendency that would follow her throughout her life.
By late 1944 Gael had returned to the States, sent home by one of the coveted million dollar wounds. To the surpise of both Bian and her mother he wanted to take custody of her after years of little more than letters and postcards. Hau refused at first, desperate to hold onto her little girl. But Bian was a child who couldn't help but feel like her mother had failed her, dressing her in too big clothes and being unable to protect her from the abuse she suffered at school. She choose the man who had done nothing to help her, following Gael and leaving Hau broken hearted.
Gael was certainly able to provide a better home and a better standard of living, but he was certainly a worse parent. Within the first month of her arrival it became clear that his personal biases and trauma were not going to make it easy to raise his half-breed bastard. She had a habit of singing to herself in Vietnamese before it was beaten out of her, Gael letting her know that he "hadn't gotten myself shot by some slant-eyed fuck only for my daughter to refuse to speak properly." And she didn't just stop speaking Vietnamese around him. She worked hard to lose her accent and present herself as something more familiar, asking him to give her a new name. Miracle was chosen out of a phone book.
Gael had wanted a boy and her set about raising Miracle as he would his son, pushing her into sports and shooting and other traditionally male pastimes. She was short but vicious, able to hold her own on the scrimmage line and in the boxing ring. When Gael opened a moving company she would come along to assist, building her strength with every couch and fridge she helped load into the truck. The better food and emphasis placed on physical activities like hiking or wrestling made Miracle much healthier than she had been before.
Physically. Mentally she was suffering under the weight of desperately trying to change what she could about herself and hide what she couldn't. Gael's casual usage of slurs was picked up by Miracle and intensified, spewing all sorts of harsh language at people who gained her ire. When she was fourteen she cautiously broached the topic of her burgeoning attraction towards other girls only to be quickly and resolutely shot down by her father. So she did her best to write it off, going through a string of boyfriends through her teen years to try and prove it was just curiosity. She had no luck. By the end of high school she was smoking weed and abusing prescription medication, and it only got worse when she entered college.
When she visited her mother Hau could see that she was falling apart at the seems and pleaded with her to get help. But every warning was brushed off with a dismissive non-answer or flat out ignored. 'Grease Carp'

DOB: 09Jun37 | AGE: 22 | Heterosexual
- UNITED STATES CITIZEN -
Residence: Oak Park, Illinois
BRANCH: United States Armed Forces
GRADE: Private (E-1) - Mech Technician
Service NO: 16325167ProfileAppearanceFerra is a young African American woman of fairly average height, standing at about 5'5". She is strong and sturdy, with broad shoulders and squarish hands. However, her build overall is also quite average, featuring feminine curves without being especially slim or wide. Equally as average are the rectangular glasses which rest upon the bridge of the distinguished Nubian nose that sits above her full, dark lips. Nothing out of the ordinary for a woman of her age and ethnicity.
However, it is there that the ordinariness of Ferra's features ends.
The eyes behind those standard thick lenses are a bright and notable shade of brown that is almost more akin to a honey-gold. Her dark and frizzy hair contains an unusual amount of reddish brown which stands out against the blacker parts. Yet if anyone were to pick out her most distinctive physical trait, they would certainly point to the pale peachy splashes of colour which are scattered across her otherwise mocha skin. This unusual pigmentation is known as vitiligo, a rare skin condition which Ferra was born with.
She looks and behaves much the same whether in uniform or out of it, even in the way that she wears her hair back in a messy bun or ponytail rather than perming or straightening it like some women might do. Another thing which people might even notice in particular about her appearance is that her skin and her clothes -whether her standard Army fatigues or her civvies- are often smeared with grease from the machines she is prone to working on. Overall she does not look very tidy, but she caries herself with a such dignity and power that one soon forgets the grime.PersonalityMuch like her looks, Ferra's manner does not adjust in the slightest whether she is on or off duty. She is at all times a strong, hard working woman who doesn't put up with anyone's nonsense or harassment. To say that she has a professional demeanor would be wrong, for even her personality is untidy and rough around the edges. However, she is a stern sort, and although she has a certain level of casualness to her nature, she mainly comes off as someone who knows precisely what they are doing and just how to get it done. Additionally, while far from submissive, she is very respectful of her superiors in her own rough way, and follows her orders with rigor. In that sense, she is more than professional enough for the military.
In fact, there does not seem to be much to her aside from that brusque diligence. Not to say that she is wanting in character, or that she lacks depth. It is simply that her entire life has been such that the best way for her to get by was by being that rough and serious type. She never put up a front or pretended to be something that she was not, but it did cause her to forgo other things which she otherwise might have naturally developed. Such as fully relaxing, or opening up to others.
Now, Ferra can have fun, of course. She can laugh and joke around same as anyone. But with far less frequency, perhaps. She knows how, but has not often indulged herself in it. After all, there are far more important matters to attend than to mess about in nonsense like that, and truthfully she so rarely let anyone get close enough to even cause her to think about letting loose, anyway.
Even so, she is not all hard. There are times, rare though they may be, when she can be quite gentle. When she can be supportive and comforting. Warm, even. This can be seen sometimes in her interactions with her father, or occasionally with children or the broken or downtrodden. And every so often, just once in a rare while, one might even catch a glimmer of it in her eyes as she works on a machine.BackgroundBiography
Her birth came as a shock.
Carole Lincoln-Freeman had been sickly and weak during the later stages of the pregnancy. So when it came to pass that her newborn baby came out with motley, maculate skin, there was much concern that there was something perilously wrong with her. However, she instead proved to be a strong and sturdy child, and passed all tests of health with flying colours. Such that her grateful parents named her Ferra with the hope that she would grow up as hale and as hardy as iron.
But her mother only grew more sick and weak until she passed away only three years later. Cancer, they said. She had always been frail. A delicate sort. Her body simply had not been able to fight off such malignancy, and it was presumed that she had already been afflicted during her pregnancy, perhaps even being the cause of her child's melanin deficiency. It was a difficult and painful thing, to be sure.
But Ferra was strong after all.
Although she was yet too young to fully understand, she could clearly see how devastated her father, Isaac, was and that was all that she needed to know. She took to spending her time tending to him, doing her childish best to cheer him up and take care of him when he was at his worst, gradually learning (albeit with guidance from the man himself) to cook and to clean and whatever else needed to be done to help him. And he was a good and loving father who did his best as well to raise and care for her on his own.
Now, Isaac Freeman worked as a mechanic at a Green Book registered auto shop, mainly to service negros or the occasional unbiased white folk. Sometimes he would leave Ferra with a neighbor to look after her, but most days he would take her with him to work. There she spent the majority of her childhood, playing in the back, or doing her homework in the corner once she was old enough to go to school. Most often, however, she would stick close to her father's side, watching and learning as he taught her about engines and radiators, and how to fix them or make sure that they kept working in peak condition. Before long she was doing what she could to help around the shop. It was hard, dirty work.
But Ferra was strong, after all.
She took to it like a fish to water, adopting the tricks of the trade quickly and with great diligence. Acting mainly as a runner when she was younger, but gradually coming to work on the cars themselves by the time she was twelve. Hard work, yes. But she liked it, and it was also good, honest work, that Isaac felt that was incredibly important. Not in aim for any sort of recognition, for he was a humble man, but rather because anything that could help and support his fellow negros was of value to him. He had always been an idealist with a heart for the good of his people.
However, Ferra did not share these aspirations or loyalties in any way. She had no reason to. When she had begun to school with other children, she had found that whether black or white, none treated her as though she were one of them at all. She was ostracized, and even sometimes looked at as though she had some contagious disease, which she expected that they indeed thought. There were so many differences between the different races, but she was different from all of them and children can be very cruel.
But Ferra was strong, after all.
She was never hurt by their words. They never made her feel bad about herself, for how could it be true that she was of lesser value than anyone else when her father needed her so? How could she be diseased when she was always so healthy? It was quite clear to her that nothing that they said of her mattered. All that mattered to her was her father and the auto shop, and so although it saddened Isaac to see it, she closed herself off from others and never made any effort to get close to anyone, choosing instead to focus on her studies and on work.
Despite how distant and uninterested in the rest of the world as she seemed to be, when the United States government declared war on Northern Vietnam in 1958, the young woman did not hesitate to enlist. She hopped on a bus from her home town of Oak Park, Illinois and headed to Chicago to sign up for whatever job she would be the most helpful in. At first they ignored her mechanics background and assigned her as a nurse, as they did most women at that time. However, so often and with such proficiency did she replace burst tires and repair broken down machines around the base that soon she was reassigned to be one of the much needed mech technicians. She was shipped overseas to the harsh, dark jungles of Vietnam, where she would experience the vicious horrors of the war first hand. Horrors that would break many a soldier in the years to come. Guerrilla warfare, jungle perils both natural and manufactured, and countless more traumas that came with it all.
But Ferra is strong, after all.

War Correspondent for the New York TimesProfileAppearance
5'4" and slender, Cynthia Ward would be described as a dainty and petite woman to those who saw her. She keeps her blonde hair short and neat, just above shoulder-length. Constantly pushing up her ill-fitted helmet or correcting her round glasses, it's clear she's no soldier, but her focused demeanor tell she's here for a reason.A camera is strung along her neck like jewelry, resting above a press badge on her oversized flak jacket. Rolls of film, tapes, and other accessories are fitted neatly into pouches and pockets. Cynthia tries to maintain her femininity despite the military attire she’s forced to wear while on the field. Lipstick, nails painted pink, things of this nature help her feel more at home despite the environment.Personality
Despite her Small Frame, Cynthia is a fierce person. Driven to prove herself in a field where many people's voices fall short, Cynthia is a stubbornly determined and dedicated woman. While known to be a no nonsense, argumentative and at times overbearing journalist. Cynthia is actually quite sweet to those who get to know her on a personal level. She’s as quick with a compliment as she is with a helping hand.
She chose to become a War correspondent because of her distaste for how the war was being portrayed in the media. The government boasts of great victories and positive strides toward ending the war, but the soldiers coming home seem more like broken men than returning heroes. This reality crushed her, and she felt it was being under reported in the news which made her feel worse still. These feelings were in large part of why she went to Vietnam in the first place. She was driven to report the Vietnam War from the perspective of the soldier, to lend a real voice to the men and women who seemed to be suffering in silence.Rank and RoleCivilian - War CorrespondentBiography
Cynthia Ward was the first of two children in a wealthy family of Judges and Lawyers in Manhattan New york. Only a year apart from her younger sister Caroline, the two of them wanted for nothing at an early age. They attended the same charter schools, and even had the same friends growing up. It was during highschool when differences in their personality began to appear. While Caroline became to focus more on her status as a socialite, flaunting her families money and status to host lavish parties and quickly becoming one of the more popular girls in their school; Cynthia focused on her studies, her goals of attending a prestigious college trumping her desire to be popular within the same Crowds as her sister.
After highschool, Cynthia pursued a degree in Journalism in a prestigious college. Her grades during highschool affording her the opportunity to attend with a scholarship. She excelled in her studies, even if she disappointed her parents by not pursuing law, they were proud of her dedication to the path she’d chosen for herself. They used their connections to help Cynthia get a job with the New York Times after she finished her schooling as a Cub reporter. Quickly she excelled in this position as well, becoming a notable name within the paper.
In 1958, Cynthia was working on getting her credentials to work in the White house when the war in vietnam broke out. Reports of the conflict drew her attention, they boasted great victories, but soldiers would come back seemingly broken. Deciding that real news was needed to be covered overseas, she would implore, and use her parents connections with her bosses within the paper to get sent overseas as a war correspondent, she intended to report the soldiers' experience.EquipmentField and On-Duty
