Why wouldn't it? It's something floating around in my subconscious. A moon is round, a moon is like a ball. Maybe a space puppy will come and catch it before it hits me. Or I'll have to duck out of the way of a giant batter, which let me tell you would not be as fun an option as the space puppy.

Well, I don't know. Maybe moles will come out of all the craters in the moon, and we'll find that they were holding it together all along, so it falls to dust before it hits me. But that's a bit too much story to happen in the couple of seconds it takes the moon to reach me, so it probably wouldn't happen.
