I have synesthesia.
Not only do days of the week have personalities and color themes, but numbers do too. Music makes me see vivid colors and images, while smells link emotions and sound super strongly.

Now I'm intrigued on what colors Melanie Martinez songs are to you. I don't know why I immediately went to Melanie but I did.

Hehehe, more like what it tastes like. Like that one song "Carousel" has the accordion, and when it plays those circus notes I can taste cotton candy, and smell kettle corn. Plus her voice feels like syrup, its sickeningly sweet.

I sometimes get dizzy if I have a sudden rush of adrenaline and a headache at the same time.

I have above average skills forging documents, though I'm no expert.

With that said, I've never used my powers for evil. Innocently enough, it started my freshman year of college back in the day because being an only female child to overprotective parents, my mother thought it sane to ask me for my university grades and I didn't do so hot in Biology. In my defense, the professor was terrible and if I remember correctly, roughly like half the (auditorium-sized) class failed. The math class? Yeah, all on me.

But anyway, if you need help, my prices are fair ;)

I did very well in both my biology and anatomy classes back in high school. I was one of those scumbags that got good grades even though I never studied.

I was a Political Science major in College. I took an advanced course on Constitutional Law. After the midterm, about half the class was failing. Of the portion of the class who were failing, I was the only student who did not drop the course. I also had the highest failing grade of that group. Instead of quitting, I went to the professor and asked if I could meet with him one on one to review the content of his lectures. He agreed and we scheduled nine office sessions where we talked about Constitutional Law. When I told him I worked as Police Officer outside of class, he was more than happy to work with me. He at least knew I was working and going to school at the same time. After the final exam, I received a C for the course. There was a time when I thought I was going to Law School. Working in Law Enforcement was merely a vehicle to gain experience in the Criminal Justice/Law system.

I can relate to that. I never studied for Math, but always got an A. I took Algebra I, Geometry H, Algebra 2 & Trigonometry and Calculus. Other courses, I studied some. Math just made sense to me.

That was me. I graduated with a 3.8 with minimal effort. Problem was, once I got to college my habits didn't change and that's why I struggled with that one damn math class. In college you actually need to study to keep up, but 18 yo me thought it was better to go spend the late nights on the beach under the stars with a drink...or 5.

I expensed my dog. My job told me that - in the process of going full time from home- if we needed anything to help the transition we could expense up to $350 in equipment fees. So I put the rescue receipt down as 'lab and equipment' and they approved it.

Meanwhile I look half dead in the portrait that's sitting somewhere in my closet. Seldom I get the "omg hun are you okay" or "why are your eyes red, were you crying?" even though I'm fine, just lacking proper sleep. I've had four eye surgeries (2 in each) and have blue eyes to top it off, so they're a tad sensitive. God bless them for the crap I put them through though.

I want to buy a garden hoe and keep it in my car so that if I get pulled over and the police officer asks me "Do you know why I pulled you over?" I can repsond with "Is this about the hoe in my trunk?"

I have the swipe setting activated on my keyboard for my Samsung, and I also have a total of 2 languages on it. Text predict gets quite interesting for me sometimes as it'll randomly insert a word that isn't even from the same language into the sentence. It irks me just the slightest to have to correct it.

My pinky finger cannot move independently from my ring finger on my right hand - they're both bend simultaneously. However, my ring finger can move independently from my pinky finger.

I am watching the TV series, Grimm with my son. He loves it. It was one of my favorite shows when it was on Television. The show was on from 2011 to 2017. He was born in 2006 and too young to watch it then. He's 14 now.

As a side note, I am working on a role play based on Grimm, but involving the Dragon's Tongue, Japan's version of the Verrat, closely connected to the Yakuza.

As much as I find space a novelty more than an interest of my own, I cannot help but see its uses to my own ends.
