That sounds like Fandom and Discord RPs to me.
MR is very similar to Discord RPs, with a bit more depth. But we like pagination, so we're here.

Fortunately, here there's no actual GM, so the direction it takes is based on all of us respecting each others' ideas.

Well I meant it's more like those RPs in the sense that the players don't know how to write. They just throw out one action event after the other with no moments for pause or development.

I would disagree with that notion. I've seen various members of MR write extremely well—it just happens to be the case that this isn't a book. There's also a lot of time for character development without action sequences going, but focused on dialogue rather than thought and description, kind of like a movie.

Right, but I meant the RP that Drake was referring to. If it were this one, I wouldn't be here.
I've played in enough balls to the walls RPs like that to have a very strong hatred for them.

Made another animation.
@Spiritblitz
Did you by chance miss my post or forgot to react or is there something else?
<Snipped quote by Drake Baku>
My bad, bud! I thought I did and was waiting on you haha. Just posted right now!
Wow! This seems really cool!
Would you mind if I could join?
<Snipped quote by Bloopie>
We're always open to newcomers! Have you read the rules?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Mhm! I've read the rules and guidelines!
There's just one teenie weenie thing-
I write in 3rd person,and I don't know if that's allowed here-
If it isn't, that's totally fine!
<Snipped quote by Bloopie>
Yeah, ours is a bit different in the sense that we only use first person. Everything you write is assumed to be dialogue, and everything in action symbols (asterisks) is supposed to be an action as if viewed from a camera. That can be in either first or third person, but usually the subject is removed, since we all know who the subject is anyway. For example,
*Runs up to the group*
Hey there!
Alternatively,
*I run up to the group*
What's up?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Oh! Okay!
Ya it works! Thank you so much!
I do have a question about adding characters.
Do we put the form in the reply box???
