Name: Kailani Meribella Cortessa (nickname: Kaia(ky-uh) or Lani(lah-nee), most people just call her by her first name, but the rest is used for formal settings since she is part of the royal bloodline)
Age: 21
Appearance: She is somewhat short for a mer-girl, measuring about 5'8 from head to tail. Her olive skin is smooth, enveloping smooth muscles and a flat abdomen. Her eyes are a deep, sea-green(shifting to blue at times based on her mood), and her thick raven hair falls down her shoulders, with some of it covering her eyes since it varies in length. There is usually a small smirk playing across her naturally ruby-red lips, due to her sarcastic and cynical nature. Her tail is a light blue shade, with the fins being just a shade brighter, and she typically dons dark purple sea-shells while under the sea. When she is out of the ocean, she typically chooses some form of jean-shorts, white khakis, or jeggings, paired with a cute and colorful top and black lacy undergarments, and converse or tennies, so she can run.
Bio: Will work on it and reveal it throughout the roleplay
Role in this story: The merperson who is found(possibly, by her own royal cousin) along the beach, a member of one of many royal bloodlines in the merworld.
Species: Mermaid-human hybrid of some sort, like transforms when her feet hit the sand (assuming this is how the main character's mother and father may have met/mated)
Other: She is a feisty soul and the daughter of a woman who is the only surviving sibling of the current royal queen of the merpeople(in their territory). Were the king and queen of her province to die, then her mother would become queen by default, should the current royal couple not claim an heir before then. Therefore, despite her snobbery at times, she is often treated with some level of respect, since she is next to next-in-line to the throne; she is not treated as well as a true heir would be, though. She is open to relations with both sexes, but isn't one for long-term relationships, mostly flirts/flings. Her father is a tramp who took off when he learned her mother was pregnant. She doesn't know much about him at all, except that he's a human.
