The various countries' militaries have been known to do a variety of illegal and inhumane activities. The world eventually finds out about most of them, but who knows what could be happening right now? Who knows what secrets are hidden from the general public?
Hidden deep in the Appalachian mountains, there's a secret, hidden entrance disguised as a storage shed. Many miles below ground, there is a laboratory where the US military is holding their experiments on making super-soldiers. The oldest of these kids are only 16. How will these experiments go? What will happen to the failed experiments?
Let's find out together
This particular lab is run by Dr. Irvine Schroder, a German-American who gained citizenship through less-than-legal ways with the help of certain government figures. His scientific breakthroughs became almost mandatory for most soldiers until he began working on a super-soldier serum. The serum failed but he had other plans.
With government funding, he got a lab built under the Appalachian mountains and began a new type of super-soldier experiment. Being unable to do the number of tests on his own, he began hiring other doctors to assist him. Many of these doctors align with his views, though a few do want to stop his evil insanity and let the children live the rest of their lives as normal kids.
There are also rumors he's behind the random disappearances of some of the guards as well as Evaline's strange physiology. You haven't heard of Evaline? She's Dr. Schroder's assistant and, according to rumor, a living success of one of his experiments to revive the dead. She never talks, though nobody truly knows why, and is at least twice as strong as she looks. Either way, she's deadly to fight against.
Just like in any other military building, there are guards. Some of the guards are actually kids who've joined Schroder's side, though not all because they agree with his way of anything. You can tell them apart by their blue military uniforms instead of the normal green or grey worn by the normal guards.
Those kids, we patients call them the corrupted, though the adults call them something else. If you have the chance to become "corrupted", take it and use it as a chance to gain information. The more we have, the better our chances of escaping.
By the way, you should know who I am. Call me Axel. You'll hear me running around the halls a lot. You can tell it's me by the thunk of my metal foot. It's part of my power.

Appearance:
Personality:
Abilities: (Each character can have 3 connected abilities that make sense. For example; super speed, friction resistance, enhanced perception. The wider apart the powers are, the weaker each one will be. Those with only a single power will be stronger with that power than others but will not have as many solutions to most problems. Each person will have 30 points that they can spread amongst each of the abilities they get. Use them wisely)
Doctor: (I will make a list of doctors to pick from depending on the powerset you choose.)
GM's Character
Name: Axel 070705
Appearance: Long, dark brown hair, pale skin, tall for his age at 6-foot-even. He wears a black t-shirt and black denim jeans with a fishing-line string tied to 3 dark blue feathers that hang from his neck. He has no skin abnormalities.
Personality: At first glance, Axel is the fun-loving, hard-headed, general class-clown/meathead/nerd who can escape his cell easily. Because he's never caused any real damage or gone overboard with his trouble, and goes back to his room when it's all said and done, he's usually just chased around and shot at with non-lethal rounds, both because they don't want to seriously hurt him and because metal bullets give him more ammo. He treats the other patients with calm respect, until they give him a reason not to, and is extremely kind to younger kids, trying to act like an older brother. He plays dumb but it's possible to see his true genius if you look hard enough.
Abilities: Metal Manipulation: 30 pts
Doctor: Dr. Turner
