Do the royal family have names (including house name) yet?

Okay well my takeaway is that there should be a faction sheet because o course it was confusing because I only put in snippets of the regions culture. But also as far as the feudal system is concerned, each house is basically he king of their land but they answer to their liege lord. In the case of houses with very high influence their liege is the king. I can get rid of calling it a throne but houses can have castles and palaces. And also no, the eldest son doesn't necessarily inherit the land - in the culture of Avelyn is the eldest child. In terms of dropping her family name - she already had the land and titles and armies and such. All she did was not recognize the claims of either house. Again though there should be a house CS so it's easier to expand

@MelkorI know perfectly well how a feudal system works. I was just saying how you worded it, could have been why Iceheart saw it as another kingdom. Just saying he serves lady raffery or what ever who was the lady in charge of the kingdoms land bordering the borklin empire. would have probably cleared it up a bit.

And I cant go back to it now cause it's gone, but I swore you said she renounced any claim she had to to the title of the land. while she could do that, then her brother would be the one in charge.

and yes normally eldest son is usually the way it went, if you were making your own kingdom you could do eldest child. but that wasn't the point i was trying to make. because rose claim the role, a 100 years ago, his decedents are the legitimate airs to the fiefdom. so the riviarly between kingsly and roses doesnt make sense...to me. and i get its a snippet. I'm just bringing it up.

@Melkor I don't think Aerandir is being hostile just because he disagrees (and provides unwanted criticism). The game will be better with you than without you so I hope you guys can talk it out and clear up any misunderstandings.

Well...after thinking about some more I've come to the conclusion that things really haven't turned out like I envisioned. Quickly I've realized I've been putting too much thought into this role play and that is just not my style. If I'm going to put this much effort into it, I might as well scrap it and just make my own novel instead.

While I was excited at first I've come to realize it has become more of a chore than something I actually enjoy. I might continue with my story but on my own terms only, which means a solo effort. I truly want to thank each and every one of you for you ideas and interest but it will better to stop myself before I make an OOC then to make it and quickly burn out.
