Aela glanced nervously at the flames then back at them. "Well, I would like to help the villagers. But, I am out of mana. And not too much energy in me. I will try not to slow you two down if you wish to engage."

Eric and Emily both blinked. They looked at each other for a moment.

They were unsure of what to say. However, when Emily saw one of the bandits chasing a little puppy.....

She got angry and suddenly, he was lifted into the air and he landed on the ground far away. Emily gasped.

Aela drew her sword and stayed close to the twins Mainly behind. When she saw Emily throw a guy practically she turned to Emily surprised and shocked. “That was amazing! Keep doing whatever you are doing.”

Emily backed away.

"I....I don't even know HOW I did that."

She looked quite nervous.

Eric blinked. He frowned and became worried. He was not sure what to do to help. Emily kept backing away.

Aela let her move behind her and personally made sure no one got past her. She was slower in combat and panting for breath heavily. She gritted her teeth and dug deeper for any ounce of strength she could. "Emily, go help the woman and children evacuate. I got your back."
Eric noticed from the corner of his eye a black arrow that glowed threateningly as it sunk into the earth it disappeared. Aela noticed a spike in mana and saw a path the spell was heading. "ERIC!"

She ran toward Eric and tackled him to the earth out of the way. The black arrow sunk into her back she winced at the pain. And tried to reach behind her to break the arrow. She didn't have time until her opponent took advantage clashing of metal rang out as Aela pulled out a second weapon from her boots, she was now equipped with two short swords.

Eric blinked. He managed a nod. He ran off to do so. He had NOT seen the arrow that was fired, not yet anyway. But, he had sensed something amiss. He stopped in his tracks. He gasped when he was suddenly on the ground. He blinked again and frowned. He glanced around. Then, he looked at Aela.

Emily gasped.
"Eric!"
She ran to the two of them. She blinked when she saw the swords. She cried out when she saw Aela get hurt.
"Aela!"

Aela's short swords clang against her enemy, defending her friends was all that was on her mind. A cloaked figure with a rapier, Aela sensed mana from him as well. It was different than the one in her back. It was then she realized they weren't dealing with normal run of the mill bandits like when they left the village.

"Such a shame to see a gift that has wasted potential."

The cloaked figure and Aela engage combat for a bit. Aela digs deep down for strength to protect her friends as she hears Emily shout in the distance. Aela used her skills to their fullest extent. Her swords moved through her foe just as Emily or was it... Eric approach her from behind. She huffed from the effort of the deed and fell to her knees and collapsed onto her side.

Emily glared at the figure. She was standing up, facing them.
"Get away!!"
The ground shook.

Eric gasped.
-"Emily!"
He stood up quickly. He wanted to make sure Emily was safe as well. His eyes suddenly flashed almost completely yellow for a moment. Suddenly, various birds of prey, and no ordinary ones, were dive bombing the bandits and everything. Eric blinked, shocked and confused.

Aela's vision begins to blur as she hears murmurs of Emily and Eric. Her eyes glance around as the enemies begin to retreat leaving the chosen ones and Aela alone with the burning village. Black begins to take over her vision in spots, "Emily... Eric... I..." Aela tries to reach her sword to continue to fight and ends up slipping unconiousness.

Eric and Emily both gasped. They both ran to her.
"Aela?!"
-"Aela!"

They were both right by her side. Those birds had left. It also looked like the bandits were long gone.

Eric tried to lift her up, to help get her help.
