There's a tier 1 spell I have called RECOGNITION that can be used to at least lure them. I could go tier 2 and use HYPNOTISM.

Do you use cantrips ? Sometimes those come in handy for distractions

@Lucius Cypher Warlock and Zealot can use tier 2 and tier 3 magic with INVOKE. Tier 2 spells take -1d on the roll and Tier 3 spells -2d, as well as costing stress to cast.
Everyone else can attempt to INVOKE at tier 1. Spell lists are examples too, so you can make up your own if nothing quite suits perfectly.
If people get too stuck with a way to go and are set on a Trickery Raid Plan I'll be happy to provide magic suggestions to navigate this problem but I don't want to influence your decision making too much if it can be helped

Atm, while I prefer trickery for information, the problem is communicating. If there’s a tier 1 spell which can proxy Tongues, then we can resume the Trickery raid. But if there isn’t then an ambush raid would be most beneficial.

Given his natural traits, Darc would prefer to post the ambush near a cliff or somewhere with hazardous terrain. His sticky body would allow him to easily stick to cliffs and walls, and he can use the natural long reach of his innate weapons to grab foes and fling them to their doom.

@Kenshi Are you wanting to change your class from Brute to something else? It will replace your Rage ability and you can choose to replace your fury ability as well. I would prefer you do it sooner rather then later though if you've decide Brute is not for you.

If you're just asking about whether your Brute can do magic, he can do Tier 1 INVOKE.

Yeah what Mae said. Darc could probably try and fling and consume one humanoidish target, but if he tries to spread himself too thin to hit more he’ll just be a big easy target to get skewered. What he does have is a net, but even that would only be big enough to wrangle one target. If it was bigger he could trap more.

The best bet if he were to try and take them all out would again, lead them to a perilous location. Either somewhere near a cliff drop or one where Darc could attack from above. With his sticky body and ability to consume inorganic materials he could potentially cause a localized landslide, but that could also potentially get himself and others killed or at least hurt. If he had minions to take that risk he’d do that, but atm he’s effectively solo unless someone else wants to risk their lives instead.

Leading them to a trap is a viable option for either trickery or ambush though.

Darc and Zaz'ak sneak in; the slime goes off and does his thing while Zaz'ak either tries to bribe minions to help him. There is the possibility that the giant's servants understand the Kobold right?

@Kenshi good idea, though don't worry about scouting yet. I would ideally like us to get into the action as soon as a plan is formed so you guys can have your very only Dungeon sooner rather then later.
