Given that there's 5 of them, I was thinking Troy of all people would be most suited to being alone. It helps keep up the cold facade he has to the others by hiding how softly he treats his pokemon in their downtime. I think having them view him that way is better for the plot/character interactions for now. This also gives him an excuse to remain "unrestrainedly unprofessional" with his pokemon when no one is looking, assuming he wouldn't get a roommate, or that his roommate would be a no-show.

Unrelatedly, the addition of Happiny once again completes the balanced spread of EV yields you would get from beating all of our pokemon once.

I'd actually prefer Zaria to have a roommate! Any arrangement with any character would work. I can see her getting into squabbles with Netty, being friendly towards Tim, and probably asking Asa for help with homework!

If you want drama the roomates should be Zaria and Netty, and Tim and Asa. If you don’t, any other arrangement.

Yes!! Zaria and Netty should definitely be roommates, I can just imagine. And I agree on Asa and Tim! This is gonna make for some fun drama xD

annnd we have a post. if anyone has any questions, let me know! also, 200p would be like... 200 pokedollars. Enough for about 20 pokeballs, or 8 potions. TMs would probably be between 800p-2000p depending on what kind of TM you wanted. I'm kind of figuring out money as I go lol additionally everyone can start off with 500p, so be sure to put that in your hiders! thankssss

Uh...
4000 pokedollars? Technically potions are 200 in gen 7+. Super Potions are 700, but cost 500 in pokemon crystal during a rooftop sale, which would give you 8 purchases for 4000 pokedollars.

Well, it's not important. It sounds as if Poke Balls cost 10p and potions cost 25p, which is good to know.

@Ryik Ahaha, yes. I think the games kind of use currency closer to yen, whereas I'm trying to make the currency closer to the dollar because it's just easier to deal with. But then again... 10 dollars seemes expensive for a pokeball, especially since pokeballs are equivalent to 2 dollars or 200 yen in the game. So I think I'll lower the price to 5p/5pokedollars, since they're mass produced in automated factories anyways.

Potions are cheaper in the game too. I think I'll make them 20p instead.

@zeroSHJust like LuckyBlackCat said! You can also bump Happiny's level to 11. It's a baby pokemon and it played a lot- that's training of some kind in my opinion lol (Btw everyone should have their pokemon at lvl 11 now!)

i was just looking at the trainer classes on bulbapedia and wanted to see how they corresponded to the trainer classes of the characters in this rp. i found some random easter eggs lol

for example, I didn't know Battle Legend was an actual trainer class in the pokemon world, and that it corresponded to Red and Blue! and Troy's color completes the primary color trio with yellow lol

also asa's character looks pretty similar to the pokemon doctor character model in sword and shield lol funny how they both look tired and have gray hair xD

Ah, the title on his app was a link to that exact page. I suppose the links can be easy to miss given that the text was yellow, similar to the color links become. I meant to imply he's aiming higher than even the title of champion. There was also a link for his theme, Selenium Forest. I like picking theme songs for my characters, since it gives a general vibe for them without rigidly defining them. It's also, to an extent, what I imagine would play while you fight them.
