Huntsman Sheet
The first thing people tend to notice about Mars is that he is always happy. He is extremely energetic and radiates warmth to those around him both literally and figuratively. He is charismatic, has a great sense of humor, and prefers to lighten the mood when conversations get dark. He does know when to be serious, but unless it's a funeral or something similarly weighty he usually chooses to ignore this. Mars is the kind of person who will do crazy stunts just to get a laugh. Like most Vaccuans, he is generally accepting of anyone, human & faunus alike, so long as they don't give him a different reason do not accept them, such as being disloyal.
Mars is very similar to his sister Scarlet as far as the basic parts of his personality are concerned there are many differences between the two, but they have a similar sense of humor, & their normal attitudes & their ways of looking at the world are very similar. Mars has a very happy go lucky personality. He doesn't dwell on stress, & instead chooses to ignore it. He doesn't care what other people think about him, but since he's such a lovable goofball, people tend to like him.
Mars also doesn't really have any issues as far as talking to girls is concerned. If he likes a girl he will ask her out. He doesn't get too upset about rejection unless he REALLY likes the girl.

Mars is a rather skinny young man compared to his grandfather and father. Whilst he does have a fighter's body, rock hard abs and all, he still retains a very lean build. He is rather tall, taking after his father, around 6'2" to be exact. Scarlet takes after their mother in looks while Mars is a blend of both. A pretty boy as described by many people, this delving into his high fashion sense. His clothing is expensive and always made to match his scarf that hangs off his shoulders.

History
Mars Vermillion was born out a necessity, to Crimson Arms CEO, Rose Vermillion and Huntsman/Shade Academy teacher, Jupiter Vermillion. Being two of the most prominent families in Vacuo meant they could grow stronger together, a company providing Huntsmen with weapons and a Huntsmen family increasing the Crimson Arm's stock; a match made in heaven that only had one downside, their lack of a family dynamic negatively affected their children. As young children, Scarlet and Mars felt a warm feeling from their parents as if they were truly happy as a family. This only lasted a few years, Scarlet being 4 years older could see them slowly drifting apart and exactly knew why. She did all she could to protect Mars from the truth but, his parents were never ones to lie about why they were married in the first place. Scarlet and Mars were to be their heirs to each family's namesake, their nonchalant attitudes to it directly affecting Mars greatly.
Mars did have a father figure in his life that took a vetted interest in loving him, and that would be his grandfather Fox Vermillion. Fox cared for his grandson, never truly enjoying the situation placed upon his grandchildren. He always took care of Mars like he did his own son, fortunately Mars began to take after his grandfather. Jokes, pranks, and all that in-between, the old man taught his grandchild all he had learned about making people laugh. It was not all laughs tho as many a nights he had to reassure Mars that his parents loved him to some degree, that he was not hated; a difficult task considering Scarlet was genius in comparison and Rose took a firm interest in her daughter's growth whilst Jupiter was always busy with teaching, fighting grimm, and spending time with his mistress.
As Mars came to learn how to use Aura from his grandfather, he was set back by an unfortunate set of events. Semblance was a common occurrence within his family, his mother, father, grandfather, and sister all having one. Mars had been trained by his father for several years to help produce his own semblance and yet it never came. No matter what situation he was placed in, the young boy could not produce a semblance of his own, and things changed as Jupiter took less interest in his son's training, leaving it to his father to train Mars. This only fueled Mars' insecurities. He was already being treated differently by those that knew of his familial connection to the wealthy Crimson family, and now his father would treat him different due to lacking a semblance, but Fox would step up to begin training the boy in a way he never trained Jupiter.
Fox's training was tough, pushing Mars to the brink many times but, beneficial as the boy began to show a talent for manipulating his Aura. His soul became a weapon like that blade he held, enhancing the old style of combat that Fox taught. Mars was taught that his body needed to be stronger than any Aura ability that he crafted for himself, an older style that focused on maximizing the body's physical potential. Years passed as Mars trained, and the boy could see his grandfather getting weaker as time went on, his body eventually unable to handle sparring. Fox's body was falling apart, his heart growing weaker, until finally passing away.
Fox's funeral would be the roughest moment of Mars' life. Tears flowed heavily by all those that attended, citizens of Vacuo all showing their love for the old man that had spent his life protecting them from Grimm. Rose unable to contain her emotions, breaking down in Mars' arms, a genuine moment between mother and son; a moment ruined by his father bringing his mistress, his partner in hunting. Mars felt an anger build in him, before finally screaming at his father with tears streaming down his face. Jupiter only listened, never yelling back nor trying to explain himself, instead he kissed his father's forehead and left, turning his back to his son.
That night Mars sat in the deserts outside of town with Rose and Scarlet, reminiscing with them, a tender moment interrupted by Jupiter. There was only silence before Jupiter gifted Mars with Autumn's Fall, the sword and gun that Fox had commissioned Rose to create. He wanted to scream, he wanted to punch his father, but suddenly something magical happened. A Flatback Slider showed itself to them for only a few seconds, a good luck experience for Vaccuans, giving Mars a truly warm feeling. He thanked his grandfather, and took this moment to speak openly to his family, explaining that he would enroll in Shade Academy and prove that he wasn't worthless. Bringing his family together was his goal and he would be the hero that Fox believed he could be.

Aura
Mars is one of the few people born without a semblance unlike his sister. Instead he has trained tirelessly to become a Aura specialist; Aura is the usage of one's soul to empower themselves a d fight Grimm. Mars possesses a large supply of Aura to use, allowing him to train longer and harder to create/enhance aura-specific abilities. Mars' Aura works in two ways, his Shroud and Sixth Sense. Shroud works as an aura that covers his body, resembling a flame, that can be hardened around his body to protect him or enhance his own attacks, including his katana. Shroud, as with Aura normally, can be used to enhance his physical capabilities to give him an edge over his semblance using counterparts, speed being his greatest attribute. That is not all he can do though as stated earlier.
Sixth Sense is quite a simple application of Aura. He extends his Shroud outward, losing the fire-like appearance and gaining a transparent dome quality, to a certain radius; Shroud becomes a sensory field that allow him to feel any object that enters his dome. On the downside, he completely loses the ability to enhance his durability. To a lesser extent, he can use his Aura on his eyes to see the Aura of others and increase his visual range.

Weapon & Fighting Style
Autumn's Fall is that name of a pair consisting of a katana and gun. Autumn is the katana crafted from an alloy that can transfer dust through it, the handle able to hold a dust magazine. Fall is the handgun attached to the holster that can be injected with dust.
Mars has trained with Autumn's Fall to create a style that treats Autumn and Fall as a pair; a short-mid range style that utilizes speed and precision with Autumn to create openings for Fall. Fall can also be used to cover space before Mars can close that distance for slashes with Autumn. When using Autumn alone is when Mars is fighting at his best as he uses feints in tandem with flashy footwork to strike rapidly at weak points.

Strengths & Weaknesses
Combat-wise, Mars biggest strength is his agility and stamina. For years, Mars practiced footwork, cardio, and flexibility to help him move in unpredictable way, adding flips, tumbles, and rolls to his repertoire. Its lucky that Mars has a high stamina and is able to fight at a high level before eventually getting tired. On the other hand, Mars' greatest strength is his goofball personality. He can face a situation and keep a positive attitude which can help keep him calm and collected to think clearly.
Starting with combat again, Mars' endurance is low. While he can fight for extended periods, he can't take much damage before his body gives out. His body has already been a bit frail so, he's had to find other ways to overcome this weakness, even Shroud is not enough to make his endurance a non-factor. Just like his endurance being low, Mars ability to realize a serious situation is low. Sometimes he tends to joke just a bit too much, even taking that attitude into fights. Finally he can get himself into sticky situations by being too persistent in protecting others.

Fatal Flaw
Mars has a daunting inferiority complex. Despite being the goofy kid who no one takes serious, he has a massive inability to not feel as though he's constantly falling behind. It stems from his lack of understanding for why his parents aren't loving and, most importantly, not having a semblance unlike the rest of his immediate family. It can cause him to push harder than needed or treat someone as if they are mocking him. He does his best to hide it but, it leaks out sometimes.
