My only questions are, how long has it been since he was sentenced, because obviously his personality changed drastically if it was overnight I'd expect, and why was he sent on this human-centric wagon of exiles and wasn't sentenced by his own courts (I'd say the Thundrim was too ashamed of him but also understood his reason, so they sent him off to be dealt with by the humans)?

Probably a month or so. And it's less that his personality changed and more that he was always terrible and only hid it because he wanted to advance his career and gain the glory, pride, honor, and admiration that came with that. The risk of losing all of that made him drop the facade of being a good person, and since he's been caught and has no reason to pretend anymore he just doesn't bother.

Excellent question. I'd say they probably had an agreement with the humans and wanted to banish him as far away as possible so shipped him away on the same cart they were shipping their own criminals away.

I'll get to formulating character opinions and writing them down here soon. Of which I'm sure of which Migi will have a lot to say, and it'll just not be great. And done! Man, I forgot how fun it was to write opinions while being a complete jerk. You all have wonderful characters.

Since my character has strength as one of his notable talents, could I just have him casually break out of his cuffs instead of needing a key? He’s pretty familiar with how cuffs like these work and would know how to apply his strength to break it without doing too much harm to himself.

Accepted as well! Just give a reason he would be taken to be sentence on the mainland. And he needs to be on the prison wagon too, so just provide a solid reason and he's good.

Why Lorcan was sent on the mainland and the Blood Coast in particular is a bit of a mystery to him, but not to the Vrettonian administration: The Caelic isles are isolated by the sea already anyway, so releasing him on some remote island would not have added any additional security in terms of geography. Also the sentence for him stated 'exile', not 'death', so the Skayleigh clan had been insistent about Lorcan's destination not being so extremely wild, remote and unforgiving that leaving him there alone would effectively have equaled certain death. On the main land there's at least some kind of infrastructure remotely available to help with survival so one cannot claim that the way the exile sentence has been carried out is just an unscrupulous method of even saving the coin for a proper executioner.

Putting him together with a bunch of unknown criminals of various backgrounds is quite a bit of a gamble, but frankly Lorcan wasn't worth the effort of hiring an entirely separate escort just to spare him the experience of a mass transport. There's a lot of coin to be saved by handling things more efficiently...
