I'm thinking we should let the players do it so they can adjust their character sheets as necessary.

Regarding the post requirements, I don't feel that we need to change much. If I'm not mistaken, we still have our minimum of 5 people who signed up. Additionally, group RPs with slower posting rates can be really frustrating to participate in. Even with daily posting, in a group of five, it can take about 5 days for any given person to get the chance to reply. With every other day posting, that doubles to 10 day intervals. 5-10 days is a LONG time to wait for a chance to reply. So you may want to evaluate the benefits of having more players vs the benefits of having more story content. You're the top GM, so the decision is ultimately yours, though.

Both of those are very good points. I suppose we dont have to tweak it that much. I've seen many roleplays die down because the GM didn't have a post requirement.

Same here. I think many of my own RPs died off for the same reason, some of them because I didn't have consistent posting myself. I often work more reliably when there's a deadline to adhere to, so having a posting requirement helps me just as much as it helps others.

If you want the posting requirements to be more flexible, we could probably push it to once every 3 days in a group of 5, yielding up to a 15-day interval between individual replies. If this were a 1x1 RP, 2 weeks is roughly the upper limit of the delay people will tolerate, though 1 week is a more realistic limit. Every other day is the max I recommend we keep it.

Alright! It may not he as good as yours, though. Rei doesn't really have a backstory, yet. The only thing i got on her backstory is she committed "delete thyself" by jumping off a bridge.

so since this is an isekai RP, i thought of going with the type of ridiculous isekai cliches you'd usually see.

Question tho. What alignment would you say the Witch is? i was wondering if it was evil because i was thinking of a character concept with this light novel-like title.

"That Time I, A Mass-Murderer, Was Reincarnated As The Guardian Angel of the Evil Witch: Failure Means Death!"

Basically a mass murderer was executed and was brought into this worod to be tye literal guardian angel of the witch. the missioned he was forced onto is to make sure the witch is pure if heart. If she dies while still corrupted, he gets sent to the lowest level of hell for thousands of years. Of course shes immortal so it wouldnt be much of a problem. However he feels extreme amounts of pain everytime she commits a 'sin. If he succeeds however, he gets a normal second chance at life in his own world.

of course i gotta work out the logistics, as the Witch is the one bringing them into this world. Also i gotta figure out exatcly what type of race a Guardian Angel would be in this RP.

@KenjuGuy The Witch had to endure centuries of torment and trauma, so it's a miracle she's got any kindness left in her heart. As it stands, her moral compass is a tad warped, such that she has no problem killing humans to save humanity. However, she's still fundamentally a "lawful good" sort of person at heart, so she would find it useful to have someone keeping her on the straight and narrow.

Angels and demons are types of Higher Spirits, which, unlike Mortal Spirits, are capable of existing independently from a body. Mortal spirits will disperse without a body, so angels are typically tasked with dragging them to the afterlife when their spirits separate from their bodies (i.e. die). Demons can't really stand in the way of that, but they are absolutely capable of speeding along the dying process. A guardian angel's purpose, then, is to prevent death by external means for as long as possible.

Obviously, the Witch doesn't need that, since she has ascended to the level of a Higher Spirit (i.e. roughly equivalent in rank to an angel). However, as we've both noted, she could still use someone to keep her on the straight and narrow. Additionally, angels possess miraculous powers, and if the Witch were to contract with one, she could acquire magical abilities, with the restriction that she can only use them when the angel deems it appropriate.

In other words, if she contracted with your angel character, he could control her moral judgment through the exercise of magic power.
