Name: Faeline
Age: 23
Race: Human
Appearance:
Personality:
Faeline appears timid and shy at first glance, but stems from her desire to think about things or hold internal monologues determining whether or not she’ll say the right thing.
Having been sold into slavery from an early age Faeline also is rather skittish and weary she however hasn’t lost the will to live yet, though at times she wonders whether it would not simply be easier to just give up on her foolish hopes and dreams.
Once she trusts someone she opens herself up more and shows a curious and intelligent mind.
Background:
Faeline’s parents were poor farmers living close to the Dark Citadel, dependent upon the land for their food and the mercy of the Cruel One and his Hags. Tribute needs to be paid yearly and as per agreement, those with ‘a mark of the promise’ would be sold off to the Capital.
Unfortunately for Faeline and her younger brother they both bore the Mark of Promise and once discovered were betrayed and ‘sold off’ to the Dark Citadel. Whilst they had remained together at first they were pulled apart in the Citadel, her brother dragged off by ‘the Graven’ a terrifying order of occultists and Faeline was handed over to one of the Skrilhexe, a Coven of Hags of infamy. They worked their slaves to the bone and were known to be cruel, malicious and manipulative.
How Faeline had managed to stay alive up until now was a mystery, but she has seen the conniving glint in the eye of Hadestra, the Hag she had served for the past ten years.
She has observed the strange machine that the Hag had gotten just a few weeks ago, only to be shocked when she found a man seeming to sleep inside of it. Wondering if perhaps now her chance at freedom finally has arrived….
