...to my first ever 1x1 (or small group!) search. I am your host, Benzaiten, but please, you can call me Ben, Benten, Benji, whatever suits your boat. In this episode of today's adventurous tale, we have me - your most beloved host - searching for RP partners that I click with, vibe with, will want to write with from heavens to hell and back. With no further ado, please, take a seat, scroll through the information. Can I offer you refreshment while you do so? Splendid!
About me:
- 24 years
- writes mostly in Casual to low-middle Advanced
- speaks English and German fluently
- prefers queer stories/characters (FxF most preferred)
- Smut: let's discuss this in PMs more, but in general I prefer character-driven sexual/emotional tension and usually prefer to fade to black at some point. This depends also on our vibes together. I don't like smut for the sake of smut, it has to make sense plot-wise and/or character-relationship-wise.
- prefers OCs and to create own worlds, but enjoys taking ideas/concepts from existing worlds (e.g. Stargate, Potterverse)
Expectations from me:
- decent grammar and spelling - I don't mind some mistakes, I make them, too.
- no ghosting - please just let me know what's up, it's easier
- enjoys building a story that balances plot- and character-driven storytelling
- mature themes allowed with exceptions (exceptions: drugs, self-harm, suicide - I'd like you to respect this.)
- must be 18+ (I feel more comfortable)
- communication is key
- 1-4 paragraphs, depending on what the IC situation requires
- However, always quality over quantity
- must be able to provide a good insight into the character's emotions/motives/thoughts/etc when writing, I wanna feeeel with your character
- dedicated to building a plot/world together - I want it to be a shared effort
- regular replies - this can vary from 2-3x a week to weekly or bi-weekly, it's most important to me that when we have a rhythm and we fall out of it, that we let the other one know; be it due to lack of creativity or life getting busy or whatever else
The Themes
Here are some of the (very) general themes I enjoy including in my RPs. (This list is in no way finished, those were just the first things coming to my mind.)
- fantasy
- magic
- sci-fi
- steampunk
- world-building
- character development is very important to me
- drama, but not just for drama's sake, for story and character sakes
- quests or goals of some sort - I like to know vaguely where the story is leading us next
- time or space travel
- exploration
- political things (including for example war, corrupt government, etc.)
Existing Worlds
This lists a few of the existing worlds in media that I enjoy currently or in general, so you have an idea of what kind of vibes/worlds/plots I usually enjoy. I am putting this here because I often find it easier. Please note that those are here for inspiration and to draw from them (ideas, whole concepts, etc) but not to jump into their exact world. I also want to note that I am listing them below for their world-building or their general setting/general premise - so I might not fully agree with how they eventually went down, treated some characters/actors, etc. (The 100, I'm looking at you) but they give you an idea of what kind of setting/premise/world-building I find interesting.
- Stargate
- Atlantis (the Disney movie lol)
- Potterverse
- Doctor Who
- Motherland - Fort Salem
- Avatar - The Last Airbender
- Warehouse 13
- The 100
- The X Files
- The Nevers
- Six of Crows
- Juno Steel Verse (this is a podcast, unlikely that you know it)
- Gentleman Jack (this is so different from the rest xD)
- The Strange Case of Starship Iris (podcast)
- Wolf359 (podcast)
- 3%
- She-Ra
- Masters of Sex
- Steven Universe
- The Shannara Chronicles (world-building, I only saw the show)
- Lost Girl (world-building, plot ideas, but not the love triangle, damn my baby-gay ass liked Lauren)
- Black Matter (premise)
Suggestions
Those are just some plot suggestions, I am open to a lot of things.
The hero defeats the villain. That is how it was prophesized. That is what they said. Wasn't it? You trained so long, so hard. You had fate on your side, you had more people on your side. You had an advantage. But how then did you lost?
Captured, deprived of your honor, your confidence, your strength, you wonder what went wrong. And why they haven't just killed you yet.
Essentially, I am interested in this moral character eventually joining the evil ranks. This could be (1) because the "evil ranks" are actually on the positive side, using some amoral methods for a moral cause, or (2) because the evil liege bit by bit corrupts the morals of the "hero" and they become evil. In the second scenario, the ending would not be them being fully corrupted, but we'd explore that. Play from the POV of the evil people, justifying our actions. Do we know we are evil? Do we think we are doing good?
This can play in numerous settings, but here I'd prefer to build our own world. I think fantasy, sci-fi, or maybe sci-fantasy would fit best but I am open to suggestions.
Character Preference: Currently preferring the hero.

This is based on a very old idea of mine (I must have been 14 or so). In our modern world - or let it be 2005 or something - Vampire Slayers have evolved into an elite class of people. Hidden and well-financed, the Acadamy brought forth many skilled Hunters. Imagine them less in a Vampire of Diaries sense and more of a CIA-but-we-hunt-vampires-and-other-demonic-folks sense. With the difference that hunters usually hunt alone or in teams of 2-3 tops.
Feared within the community of vampires is - currently dubbed as the best hunter - a relatively young woman, maybe in her early 30s? Would make more sense to me than younger, but I am open to being convinced otherwise. She's said to be ruthless, fast, efficient. No vampire ever crossed her path and lived to tell the tale.
The Most Wanted. A vampire leaving disaster, death, and pain wherever she sets foot. Many hunters are assumed to have found their deaths through her. No one met her and lived to tell the tale. She is a mystery. No one has managed to capture more than a blurred shadowy picture of her before. Her face is unknown to them. She is their most wanted and their most feared. Albeit being their best hunter, the only job the hunter is allowed to fulfill regarding the most wanted is taking a simple photograph to identify the vampire queen if she appears. "You are not to engage. You are not to set a foot in her direction. You are too valuable. And she is too unpredictable. I doubt you will see her, no one saw her and lived. But know this: your safety first! You are our most valuable asset."
As the hunter takes her weapons, gets briefed for the new job, and leaves the hidden facility, she is confident. Another routine job. But to her surprise, as she walks through the woods on high alert, she finds herself pressed against a tree, face-to-face and weapon-to-stomach with the most wanted.
Next thing she knows, the lights go out.
Note: In my original story (when I was young), the most wanted vampire was not the loner the hunters thought her to be. She had two younger sisters. One in her 20s. And one who was only 9-or-so. Both also vampires. She held the hunter captive because she didn't know what to do as she ran into her out of curiosity. Now she can't let her go, as she has not only seen her face but also those of her two sisters. The hunter on the other side feels - rightfully so - deprived of her freedom, considers the vampire a threat, but also feels curious about her. She is a mystery after all and she managed to hide two other vampires under her wing. Needless to say, this is supposed to be a story that goes forth and back with many mixed emotions, mixed morals, and backstory on the vampire sister's part.
However, this shall be something we work on together, so we can make changes and develop this together.
Important: I do not want this to be solely a romantic-driven plot. I want there to be other plot themes - the fight against vampires, the hunter facility (this is not a set name, just so you know who I mean xD) will come to rescue the hunter, of course, she might stay out of curiosity as she hasn't been hurt before, maybe there'll be an outright war on vampires, maybe there's more political stuff to it, there'll be people from the main vampire OC coming up at some point... so it won't just be driven by internal things but also external things.
For this, it has to be an FxF pairing.
Character Preference: None, really. I can play on both sides.

The idea for this is that our characters are from the future (a bit of a sci-fi setting) and they are a married queer couple (preferring FxF or enby characters, but open for other suggestions). Due to (a) something occurring they were not involved in or (b) them working on some sort of time-machine or time-dimension thing (preferred), the two end up in the past.
Now they have to navigate something like Victorian London or living on a farm in a small town where - of course - being a queer married couple just doesn't hold. Currently, (but might change and open to suggestions) I'd prefer to send them to either a farm village setting (think Anne with an E) or to a Steampunk past.
During their stay, they are trying to live life, get along with neighbors, somehow keep their love hidden and alive, and at the same time trying to find a way to get back home to their time. Whether they want to stay in the end, get back home, or travel somewhere entirely (by accident for example) during the course of the RP can all be decided together on the go.
I am also very open to other suggestions of where they land and how their status will be after landing (will they be taking in somewhere, be enslaved, imprisoned, homeless, guests to rich folk, ordinary folk, etc etc). For this I'd also prefer if the OCs were at least 30, but as always I am open to your ideas.

Character Sheets
These are some characters I made for stories that either never came off the ground or died very young. The characters are obviously open to being re-vamped and tweaked to fit our new plot/setting/ideas. But maybe one or two inspire you.
Warnings: religion (talk about possession), attempted murder of child, death occurrences

Her face gives off the vibe that she doesn't want to be addressed by anyone and as if she's fundamentally exhausted.

- Origins: Unclear; all genders serve in the coven but mainly women
Born somewhere in a small village, Dubheasa was an unexpected child that was lovingly welcomed by her young parents; the mother 15 years old, the father 14 years old. Ever since her birth, tragedy and destruction seemed to happen in close proximity to her. Albeit people whispering about Dubheasa being cursed and needing to be drowned so she could be cleansed from the evil spirits and lifted into the heavens, her parents loved and shielded their child from those accusations. The first tragedy to ever occur around the child was on the day she was born. Her grandparents on her mother's side found their death on and shortly after the day of Dubheasa's birth. The moment she began to scream, her grandfather's smile faltered and he succumbed to death. His wife followed shortly, a week later, as she grew sick on the day of Dubheasa's birth and soon died. On her deathbed, she tried to warn her daughter - Dubheasa's mother - about the evil that had attached itself onto the child, clawing its way out of hell by clutching to Dubheasa's soul. The parents then went to bless their daughter multiple times, went to church regularly, and prayed every day. Life went on.
Incidents happened, and the parents, scared for the safety of their daughter, tried their best to hide them. They moved cities when the child was four years old, after a pastor attempted to drown her by his own doing, and after that, they moved every year. When Dubheasa, seven years old at the time, was found the only child alive with eight others dead, her parents couldn't deny it anymore.
In their desperation to save their child's soul and the lives of others, they took Dubheasa from her slumber in the middle of the night. Her mother and father both cried violently as they pushed their child's head underneath the surface in the bath. Upon witnessing his child's trashing and screams, her lungs filling with water, her father couldn't bear it. He pulled her out, held her tight, and whispered into her ears that everything would be just fine, she would be okay. Shocked and still in desperation, the parents put their daughter into an alive grave in the middle of the woods, laying her to her final sleep into the earth.
As Dubheasa was dying in her makeshift coffin, she was saved by a bear who was digging a burrow and accidentally freed the little girl. Sparked with adrenaline, Dubheasa ran und ran into the woods blindly. Until she, on pure accident, stood on the edge of the woods, looking into the town she had lived in just two days ago. Wild looking, hungry, barely alive, she blindly wandered into the town, trying to make her way home. Instead, she ended up in the town's square and found her parents hung for their crime of murdering their own child. Upon being spotted by the townspeople, the girl got chased away with literal pitchforks. The town had rid itself of the devil child and its parents.
So Dubheasa wandered from one town to the next, stole food, stole clothes where she could. Since she was but a child, she got taken in by kind-hearted people multiple times. She got fed, put to work, and was embraced with love by multiple homes. Every time, she would leave in the middle of the night, only staying a few days, the longest a month. She did not want to repeat whatever had been happening to her.
When she was twelve, women appeared before her and offered to take her in. Only then, being taken in by The Coven, was she embraced fully. The witches explained to her how witches aren't born but made from suffering and trauma. Every one of them had endured a life that had brought them the utmost suffering. In return, they had gained power they hadn't known existed before. No evil spirit, no demon, no devil had lurked within the child, at no point in time. She learned that her grandfather had most likely died of a heart attack, her grandmother had died of an untreated virus that affected her lungs. The children had all died of a fast-spreading disease that Dubheasa had dodged because everyone had kept their distance from her and her parents had made sure she kept her distance from others. Dubheasa grew angry, furious, she griefed a life she could have had. But the witches knew how to treat a traumatized person. They showed her kindness, love, opportunity and helped her with her emotional outbursts. Soon, Dubheasa was enrolled in lessons at her Subcoven.
In The Coven, she found that she had one talent after all: she was a brilliant witch. She excelled in most of her studies and picked potions as one of her majors. She achieved to master a hard spell in the shortest time frame from being of study to mastering said spell since the year 1006. She found her strengths lied in hard work, focus, determination, and thinking a little outside the usual rules and guidelines. She found her first and very best friend K'Awil. K'Awil was a few semesters above her and choose to become a Spellmaster someday. This course of study includes many exams, tests, rules, a hella lot of bureaucracy, and many forms of approval. While Dubheasa didn't lack the talent for the path of a Spellmaster (someone who invents new spells), she lacked the obedience. She preferred to work on her own, without restrictions, without all the control of Coven Masters. She disliked the many rules and restrictions, so she stayed within her potions path. Dubheasa enjoyed creating something physical, something she could see, touch, smell, hold. K'Awil, who saw her busy mind and wanted to focus Dubheasa's brilliance towards something relaxing sometimes, started a little garden that he gifted to her. Dubheasa took a great liking to the gardening bits. Hands dirty, mind running free, nothing bothering her, sweat on her forehead, and seeing her results grow.
As their friendship grew, Dubheasa and K'Awil found themselves hidden away from the world, high on some self-grown stuff, talking about new potions, new spells, and creating an entirely new curriculum for the academy out of fun for planning. In one of their high sittings, they almost created a perfectly new spell. Which Dubheasa later, after she left the coven, completed on her own. Being the only witch to own a spell not known or admitted for usage by The Coven Elders.
The joy she found in the Coven with like-minded people, some friends, and above all K'Awil could only be matched by one other earthly joy: the love she found within Charlotte de Bréze.
When Dubheasa was eighteen and allowed outside of the coven, she decided - for the first time in her life - to visit a ball. Disguised as a man, she snuck into a masquerade, eyeing the dancing ladies, marveling at the beauty of the interior. As the night proceeded, she came to notice that two eyes were on her, following her every step, trying their best to not be spotted - but, perhaps, wanting to be spotted after all. Dubheasa offered the lady to dance, and so they danced. Later that night, they secluded themselves from the party, went into the garden by moonlight, and sat at a river, hidden away. They'd try to catch frogs together and dipped their naked toes into the cold water. Everything occurred to Dubheasa as if straight out of a romance novel. She began to see the lady more often. Soon she was revealed to be a woman, but it seemed as if Charlotte de Bréze had known from the moment she had laid eyes on the disguised Dubheasa.
The only problems with their love were two things. For one, Charlotte was married. And for the other, the Coven strictly forbade relations to humans. It was a dangerous affair. However, Dubheasa went on to see Charlotte and Charlotte went on to love her with her whole heart.
One night, Charlotte's husband returned earlier than suspected, he walked in on them in bed. Enraged and privileged, embarrassed by his wife's desire for a woman over him, he could not control himself. Charlotte was struck down and died that night in the arms of Dubheasa, wearing the green dress Dubheasa had gifted her that night. The husband left in his fury, leaving Charlotte to her death. Upon his return, Dubheasa was gone. The body of Charlotte was left there. The husband went and explained the occurrence: he had found his wife in beds with another man. And he would give the name of a man he long wanted to take revenge on. In the end, he moved away, was not persecuted, and found himself a new life, a new wife.
Dubheasa however found herself ruined and begging her main teacher - who had been the woman who had taken her in - to help her. But the teacher told her there is no meddling with the dead. Their job as witches was to create death, to balance life and death, to take souls over into the next world. And as such, Dubheasa knew the consequences of death. There was no return. She had warned Dubheasa to not get attached to fragile humans but albeit disliking her connection to Charlotte, she was ready to embrace her adopted child and help her through the immense pain. But she wouldn't attempt to alter the inevitable. They had not taken Charlotte's life, but there was no giving it back either. Dubheasa, in her blinded sorrow and anger, saw this as a punishment for not following the rules, for bending and breaking them, for being trouble. She had seen enough punishment in her life, she would not have this one. So she began to brew something up herself.
In the dead of the night, raising fog with her blood dripping fingers and murder on her mind, Dubheasa went to the crime scene. Her attempt to coerce the soul of her lover back into the world of the living failed drastically. Only halfway returned, the soul - shown as a ghostly, white, confused figure - of her beloved Charlotte was doomed to sit in the tower of her mansion for eternity, reliving in her mind the most painful day of her existence. Waiting for a lover that she couldn't see before her eyes, with her mind split and her memories splintered. In her vain and greed, Dubheasa had closed the path to eternal peace and quiet for Charlotte forever.
Shocked, disgusted with herself, in even more pain than before, and feeling endlessly guilty, Dubheasa couldn't face the wrath of the coven. After meddling with the poor girl's soul, the coven - the real big coven, not her subcoven, poured their wrath out. But her teacher defended Dubheasa. Dubheasa knew none of it. She knew the coven finally had enough reason to be rid of her forever. So she ran and never looked back. No one from the coven has contacted her since and she had not contacted the coven.
She began to build a life in seclusion from everyone and everything. In the middle of the woods, just her in a hut and nature.

Appears in her early-to-mid-twenties, currently telling everyone she is 24.

Description
Aaliyah is 161cm tall and weights 62kg. Her boobs measure of a 32B in bra size. She has natural brown hair, that goes down in waves a tad further than the middle of her back. She has freckles over her nose and cheeks, that will show forcefully when she gets the warm sun onto her skin a couple of days. Her eyes are of a brown tone. Aaliyah has a cleft chin, which people like to call 'butt chin' or 'booty chin', that she didn't like for a long time but has come to terms with. She likes to walk around natural, not so much make-up and comfortable clothes, but doesn't mind glamming up every now and then. She has several tattoos on her body. She also has a huge smile, which people have made fun of, but she will not stop smiling because of that.
Species
Dilloth
(Meaning: Silent Flower)
Sexuality
Lesbian
Personality
Aaliyah is a calm person, who can sit and listen to you for hours. She doesn't erupt very often or easily. She tries to solve everything with words and kindness. Her heart gets heavy whenever she witnesses pain, hurting, prejudices, hate or unfairness. The woman doesn't understand cruelness or being divided by simple things like religion, skin color or sexuality. Before coming down to earth she hadn't known a word for 'sexuality', they just called it love, hadn't known that religion and skin color was a reason to hate for some people. She loves nature, animals and children and is protective of them. Liyah almost got a heart attack the first time she visited a zoo and had to leave after five minutes. Caged animals, no matter why, are hurting her heart and she doesn't understand why it would be necessary.
In her free time being outdoors in the nature where no cars drive, no houses can be seen, no loud city noises can be heard, is her favorite thing to do. Right next to writing songs and singing. She likes to have fun dancing and exploring the world, climbing, jumping, swimming. She loves to ride her bike and prefers it over cars or buses or trains. It feels more natural to her and she likes the wind in her hair.
She loves learning new things and is always very enthusiastic about it. Testing out new sweet treats is one of her favorite things. She loves movies, though she is always shitting her pants during any kind of horror movie (even if it's really not scary!).
Aaliyah is easily hurt, because she still hasn't quiet understood that sometimes people don't mean what they say. So she takes a lot of things to heart even if she shouldn't. But she has been working on that for a long while now and it's slowly getting better.
Liya benefits from several abilities that are common for her species.
(See 'Abilities of her race' in the CS)
The Dilloth can't tell untruthful things. Therefore Liya can't lie.

Backstory
Liyah was born on a planet called Astraea and she was the princess of the Dilloth - the race that inhabited the planet. She grew up in the forest along the other ten or so children. She spent 200 years on that planet, played in the crowns on the trees and lived within wonderful wooden places in their forest. On her 200th birthday, Aaliyah got crowned as queen. And suddenly she was in charge of Astrea, a very small planet, nothing compared to earth. But it was home. Until an evil outcome forced the whole species to flee. Not all of them made it.
While the common people slept, the royalty as well as some advicers and healers kept awake on the ship they had fled the burning planet with, heading towards the next best planet to live on. The species that seemed most like them, most to accept their ways and to welcome them was the human race on Earth. It took only 17 years for the Dilloth to arrive on Earth, year 1600.
But the force had followed them and when they had landed and exited the ship something happened. The Dilloth have the ability to turn into trees and they use to do that whenever danger tags along, to hide in plain sight. When they did it this time, they froze in their state. All of the Dilloth at once had been trapped into their tree form - except for one. The young queen met eyes-to-eyes once again with the force that had killed her planet and over half of her people back home. And what they wanted, she couldn't give them. So they left all of her people frozen in their tree form on a planet of people that considered trees a source, something they could kill to use the wood. The queen - all alone with no parents to guide her, no one to talk to, no advicers, no healer by her side - was lost. Of course she tried to find a way, she tried to find the cure - that she knew existed somewhere in the possession of the great evil that had done this -, but after having been everywhere and having found not one clue, she didn't know how to proceed further. All her ideas failed. All her people were trapped for eternity.
And the princess soon too learned, that not only had the great evil trapped the Dilloth in their tree form, but had stopped all Dilloth from growing. The trees didn't grow, after fifty, hundred, two hundred years they still stood at the same size - and so did she. Aaliyah hadn't aged ever since that day, she was doomed to forever be in the position of the queen that got half of her people killed on the first day since coronation and got the other half stuck forever 17 years later in a world that would only gladly kill them one by one.
These days, Aaliyah still feels terrible about it, still hopes for an answer, a solution, but has barely any hope. She had given up. She had started to live like a human as best as she could.
(There's a story to how all this happened, but I didn't wanna write even more in the CS to bore you all.)
The Dilloth have something within their blood, their DNA they call Eredh (translated that means 'Seed'). The Eredh is something that is a part of them like smelling or hearing. They get born with it and some have a stronger Eredh than others. And the Eredh gives them some abilities.
Eredh is a natural thing that once existed in all of nature's creatures; plants and animals alike. Animals and plants do not have a strong Eredh, they can not 'use' it in the way the Dilloth can. But every Eredh can feel when there's something around with Eredh, how strong their Eredh is. And so it comes that all the animals can feel when a Dilloth is near them and they happen to not be afraid of them, to not be aggressive towards them. They respect them. Though they do not listen to them or do things they want. They simply feel that those people mean no harm due to the Eredh within their veins. On the other side of the coin the Dilloth feel pain whenever Eredh around them is destroyed, therefor they would cause themselves physical harm by harming an animal or by killing a tree. It's a two way street. On a sadder note, not all animals still have Eredh though. Animals in the wilderness are more likely to still have their Eredh than animals that are living among humans or in captivity.
The Eredh that runs through their body gives the Dilloth the ability to interact and behave in the environment differently than any other species. They can walk within nature - and only nature! - without making a single sound. They can climb like it's their destiny, are fast on their feet and have quicker reactions than most other species. The Dilloth learn to use daggers and bow and arrows, but they don't hunt with them. They use them in a different way. They have a natural good aim and many train this ability to perfection. So did Aaliyah. (Due to these abilities the Dilloth could be trained to be amazing warriors, if only they would consider to harm anything. But it never even occurred to them that their abilities could be used for military reasons.)
Eredh is also within water. Underwater the Dilloth can see and breathe. This is because the Eredh in the sea will naturally give them the things they need to survive down in the deep. Like plants underwater. The Eredh in the water needs to have time to adjust to her body though, so the 'survival abilities' for underwater will only kick in after around 30 seconds of being completely underneath it. If she gets out of the water before the thirty seconds, it will not work. If water gets pushed over her head, she will not be able to connect to it's Eredh. However if her head gets forced down into water, after thirty seconds she will be able to breathe within it. She can't connect to the Eredh when she is unconscious. She has to be awake for it.
The Eredh forces the Dilloth to always speak the truth, they can be silent if they wish or tell half the truth. But no untruthful word will ever leave their lips. They're unable of doing so. They learn to use their words wisely. By not lying but using words that will set a different kind of thought into the head of someone, they still can prevent themselves from having to spill a truth they don't wanna share. A woken mind will notice their way of words though and not be fooled.
Eredh is able to heal. This process is something the Dilloth have to train hard for, for a long time before it will work at all. Some very few are even able to resurrect someone. Healing someone is a tiring process that considers a lot of attention and strength as well as life. By healing someone, the Eredh will go over in their body and quicken up the healing process. But it comes with a price. Not only will one feel weak, dizzy and maybe even faint, but they will be giving away a part of their lifespan. Every healing process, as little as it might be, costs them a little bit of their own life. The bigger the wound, the bigger the price. So resurrecting someone can cost the Dilloth hundreds of years of life and even cause them to die immediately. The Dilloth respect death and do not make use of their power to resurrect (not that many can anyway). They also prefer to let wounds heal naturally, using natural salves and bandages.

Sexuality is a word the Dilloth do not know and Aaliyah only learned it when she started to live her life on earth. The Dilloth do not consider themselves straight, gay, bisexual or whatever weird words Liyah had heard. They call it love. Simple as that. So she didn't understand why the human race needed different words for the same thing and even felt hate towards some love. It confused her and angered her.
Having a child is a completely different thing for the Dilloth. A child will only ever be born when two people have physical contact during the deepest emotional connection. Physical contact can be anything, from touching a cheek to holding hands to having sex. The deepest emotional connection is more than love, it's two souls physically connecting. It's a special bond, a moment full of vulnerability and weakness and pure emotions for each other. During the deepest emotional connection a child will only be received when the Eredh within one person feels so very pulled towards the Eredh of the other person that a spark of it will leave the body to go over into the one of the partner. That kind of connection is rare. Any couple can get children, the sexual organ is not needed to reproduce. The men of the Dilloth also can receive and carry out children, though they always have to use a risky C-section for the birth of their child. So it can always be that a same sex couple will have a child or that a man will be pregnant with the child of his wife.
Due to the very deep connection to be existent when receiving, children are always born into a loving family. Children are something very precious, because the connection and the ability of the Eredh to split a part of it and jump over into the partner's Eredh is a rare and very beautiful thing. Children are always happily welcomed and are always a blessing. And they're always single children. In the whole history of the Dilloth there were only a very few siblings. For the Eredh to split once and do the incredible task of producing another Eredh, a little child, another little light is a miracle, a wonderful thing. But for it to happen twice is completely out of the norm. There has been siblings, but they're so extremely rare that one would never even consider that they could have two children.

Actual Name: Jessamae Ramona Nelseigh Chakeyoen
{Jessa-may Ramona Nell-say Sha-key-yen}
Pretend Name: Ramona Jessa Chalkey
Nicknames: Jessa; Jess; Nels {by very few}
She goes by Ramona and Jessa both as a calling name.
Most people only know her as Ramona though.
Closer people (not necessarily friends) know she rather goes by Jessa.
Age: 24 years
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Homosexual
DOB: February 24, 2093
Nationality: Born and raised on Vasciamaera {Race is called Vasciamaerian}
Position on The Condor: Explorer; helping out with engineering problems if required; listed as possible military soldier if ever required
Years on The Condor: 5 years
Appearance: Jessamae is 5'7'' (1,70m) in height and has an average body figure. Her hair length goes a little bit further over her shoulders and is of brown-ish color with a ginger touch, lighting influences the appearance of her hair color. Her eyes are of hazelnut brown color. She has a slightly tanned skin and her arms show some few muscles from hard work. Jessa also has a somewhat toned stomach. Her skin is strangely clean, showing no signs of skin blemishes - this though comes from her biology, her genes, her race.
Personality:
Jessamae is a woman who stands up for what she believes in and will fight for it if she has to. She doesn't shy away from adventure, fights or dangers. Though she doesn't necessarily seek out fights either. She likes to avoid physical fights if possible and has a rather strict moral to not be the one to start them. She believes in defense rather than taking punches as much as she believes in not hitting a man when they're down and giving her enemies a quick dead if absolutely necessary.
She is a curious person, likes to obverse people and they're behavior, reactions and conversations. She is someone who likes to stay secretive about herself, but likes to know about other people's stories and what drives them. Jessamae has always been more of a silent person, but she tires to interact and initiate conversations more these days. Allies are important, after all.
Jessa was brought up to believe and trust in karma, but has already back then had trouble letting 'karma' handle every wrong that was done. She wasn't someone to sit and watch while something wrong was going on, wrong in her opinion anyways.
Her patience is one of her weaknesses. While her race is known for being patient and wise, there are always those who are the 'black sheep' and just couldn't learn to have some patience. If anything, Jessa was one of the most impatient children she had known herself.
History:
Jessamae Ramona Nelseigh Chakeyeon was born on the planet Vasciameara. Children of that planet start school at the age of two, they learn languages and start their education about foreseeing. With the age of six it was clear that Jessamae had a talent for mechanic and engineering as well as aiming any firing weapon. She lacked the skills that were so highly acknowledged in their culture though, she was impatient, impulsive, strong headed, disobeyed too much, got into trouble too often, ditched too many school classes and, the worst, had no ability to control or extend her foreseeing powers whatsoever. That being said, Jessamae wasn't 'less gifted', in fact she had a completely average foreseeing ability. She just couldn't work with it... at all. On her planet that meant as much as being 'bad in school' and having a 'not so good job in the future'.
Knowing that she was never gonna get where they wanted her to be, she decided to use the skills she had to start up a life. So she joined the army at the age of twelve and became a soldier. The training was hard and harsh and dirty, but she didn't give up. She sucked in all foreseeing classes in military and didn't ever make it near any commanding position. So they tossed her off to be a simple soldier and a mechanic. Something that Jessa was incredibly good at.
Military was strict and with the age of fifteen Jessamae had enough of it. She was thinking about quitting. There were no fights to be fought, it was all simply preparation for the possibility that they would get attacked again. And then she met her. Caylea Lethendriel changed her world twice. When she entered it. And when she left it so drastically...
And here we are, the reason why Jessamae Chakeyeon left her home planet to go far far away at the age of nineteen and accidentally found her new home to be on-board the Condor. The woman changed her name to Ramona Jessa Chalkley, it just sounded more... human..., and began her new life.
What happened with Caylea...? That is Jessa's story to tell.
Combat and Fights:
Skilled with any kind of firing weapon
Combat skills {with a large stick, with her bare body}
Knowledge:
Skilled mechanic and engineer
Some medical knowledge
Fluent in many languages across the galaxy {trying to hide it}
Quick learner
Other:
Instinct towards upcoming troubles, events and possible outcomes {trying to hide it}
Specials:
As a Vasciamaerian Jessamae has the ability of feeling someone's intentions and foreseeing a possible future, mostly related to big events (like wars or their outcome) and moments in the very near future. Foreseeing an event is a painful, uncontrollable thing that mostly shows through little to major headaches, sometimes ending in the person fading out. Foreseeing is just a possible future, it can be very clear and very strong, or very foggy and uncertain. Even very clear outcomes can change, but it is so very unlikely that no one in the galaxy dares to still believe in it. Foreseen moments are 95% covered with pain, fear, anger or any other negative, hard feeling. Happy moments are very rarely foreseen. Foreseeing is a gift and a skill both - you get born with a certain amount of ability, but can extend it and control it with hard training and discipline. (Jessa never had enough discipline to control any vision ever.)
This is a very obvious trait of her kind and the need to try and put this off as 'instinct' or 'intuition' to others is only reasonable.
Jessamae's skin heals quicker than those of humans. It is not a rapid, visible pace (you can't watch it disappear), but with some attention towards the wound healing process someone could spot that it might be healing a little too quickly for a 'human'. For example: A normal bruise might be gone within a day or two and indicate that something is off, if someone payed attention. (She is not in any way more resilient to deadly harms or the like.)
Her race is known for learning languages abnormally quick. It is rumored that this is the last piece that shows of the telepathic skills the Vasciamaerians once had. If they ever really had telepathic skills is a very good kept secret, most Vasciamaerians don't know the answer to that either. (Jessamae doesn't know.)
For the very reason of it being so known as a trait of her race, she tries to not show it too often.
She can't handle cold since her skin is not made for it. (On her planet there is no winter.)

History:
Vasciamaera is a planet of middle size, not the smallest but far far away from being the largest. The planet only knows of the seasons summer and spring, they have four months of summer and eight months of spring. Therefore Vasciamaerians don't know of autumn or winter personally, though most know it exists on other planets. Rain is different on the planet as well, it works the same way, it does the same tricks, but the water doesn't feel yucky on the skin, it doesn't stick to it. It rather feels like soft smooth silk moving over your skin and therefore is highly loved by most people. It doesn't rain often on the planet. The landscapes are similar to the ones on Earth.
The race has three known (or rumored) abilities: their skin heals faster, they pick up languages abnormally quick, they can foresee a possible future and the outcome of events.
Vasciamaera and the race that inhabitants it, are only a whisper these days. Most people have heard crazy stories here and there, but no one believes they really exist anymore, at least not this far away from the planet. As a race able to foresee the ending and beginning of wars, a lot of powerful people, all kind of races, have come across the planet and asked or forced help out of the most skillful Vasciamaerians. A long time they were 'The End', the end of any war, because whoever had that race on their side won the war. But the more wars they helped with, or were forced to help with, the more enemies they made, the more jealous some people got. And in the end a war began, a war against all Vasciamaerians, no single one should be left to live. Many died, on both sides, but the race survived somehow, decided to leave the galaxy to it's problems and mind their own business once and for all, they went into silence. That was 500 years ago and ever since the whispers about the Vasciamaerians have become more quiet, yet resilient. The galaxy won't fully forget about the race that is able to foresee. They won't forget, but most people don't believe them to be anything more but a myth, a made-up story.
No map in the whole universe shows their location, you either know or you don't. The missing of any documentation of the whereabouts of this planet are a big reason for the people to not believe in the stories of the Vasciamaerians. How all locations documented got destroyed is a mystery that will never be solved...

Note: This was originally for a RP in a future version of our world where everything could be done online. Essentially the characters would wake up on an island with the bare minimum of rations and a quest. From an unknown person who stays hidden throughout the game, they get told their next quest once they've succeeded with their current one. So they'd be basically transported into a real-life video game, except it's their real body, real pain, and the real world. Just some island somewhere that was strategically altered to allow such a real-life game to take place. This RP would be most fun with a small-medium group and a GM who would dedicate themselves to creating challenges and quests for the characters, leading them away or towards each other and making them work against and with one another. Note: In our case the person behind this would also try to pair people up. They first woke up in 2 pairs, then they'd realize they had a sign and color (example: blue turtle) on their wrist. Their first big goal was to find the matching tattoo. This would be the person the GameMaster (as in the character that runs the island) thought fit best to them and could be a potential romantic partner OR (if no romantic ship was found) a potential good friend. This way the game was about relationships and human interactions. A social experiment for the GameMaster.
LyciaRoo has signed on
"Oh hello LyciaRoo, I'm so glad you came. Let's begin the interview. What's your real name? First and last please."
The girl in front of the screen showed a slight frown on her forehead. The interview had already gotten pretty personal. A real name? These days real names didn't interest most people. Writing it down she could feel that the lack of using it has made her feel somewhat strange towards it. "Alycia Demetria Roels."
"Ah, I see, okay how old are you?"
That wasn't too odd a question. Many games asked for age, mostly to make sure you are over 18, or in some cases over 21. Though you could always just put a wrong age, no one checked on it, no one cared. She typed in her answer. "I am currently 24 years old."
"Hmm...This is more personal but what's your sexuality?"
That was kind of very odd. She didn't remember a game that asked her for this. She knew of some dating games that required this but she never played any of that kind. They would offer various amounts of lovers to choose from and then play out virtual dates or something like that. She didn't really know. Alycia thought about it. Her sexuality... She had a relationship with a woman once. It was weird because it was all online. But was she really gay? Would she wanna be with a man? She thought to the female characters she met. She also knew that if she thought about touching a woman's skin she felt a lot more excited than when thinking about a man. She typed an answer. "I am interested in women."
"What is your gender?"
Every game she ever played asked this of her. She always chose to be her own gender. "Powerful female."
"What do you look like? You can send a picture or describe yourself, though an image will help me more."
Alycia frowned some more. Send a picture... A real-life picture. She had been asked this several times, from both men and women, she had always declined. Perverts. Just one time... one single time... things had been different and she had sent one. She looked at the file that kept all the pictures of herself on her PC and chose the only one that was recent. It had been some fort of cosplay for her girlfriend. It felt so far gone now. "This is all you get of me."
"What's your occupation?"
Strangely enough, Alycia's mind went straight to hacking. But no. That wasn't her occupation. That wasn't what brought the money in. Though she wished it did. "I work for DATYR - one of the largest 'we have everything'-stores, completely online, shipping free. You must know the commercials, 'Delivering all things you require!', right? I mostly sit at the desk at the PC, do lists, check things, help customers online, make delivery times and dates, make sure the time for the delivery trucks is used the best way, sometimes someone even calls. But that's rare. They call me when there's a problem with the site. They call me when there's a problem with the printer (we don't even print, what do we need a printer for!?). I've got time to game on the side though."
"How would you describe your personality?"
Her personality. Her real-life personality. It would be much easier to describe her characters in the games she played. What was she like? In the real world, what was she like? "Passionate. Emotional. I like to think I am nice, but I can be quite sassy too. I am strong-minded, I know what I'm worth. I am reasonable and I like discussions to learn about the other person and what drives them. I like to observe people, find out what drives them, and - if needed - how I can control them or manipulate their thinking. Does that make me a bad person? Maybe I'm a bad person. I am animal friendly, though. I mean I think I am. I haven't seen one in forever. In games I am, I don't kill them if not absolutely necessary. I am curious. I wander off a lot to explore the worlds I play in. And I like stories. I like to read. And I mean, really read. I have a book. A real book, with pages and all. It's hidden. Don't even think of stealing it, I'll kick your ass. Mmm, so I guess I am also protective. Or aggressive? What would you call it? I try not to get into fights that aren't necessary. And I think I am a little flirty. But I have never flirted with someone face-to-face."
"How tall are you? How much do you weigh?"
Alycia stared at the screen. And got up. It took her fifteen minutes to find out how tall she was and what her weight was. She hadn't known that information before now. She wondered what they needed this information for. "I am 5'4'', weight 138."
"What's your favorite color?"
That was easy, but once again it left her wondering what this was needed for. She decided to ask. "It's light blue. For what is this information required?"
"What type of person interests you romantically?"
She was left being ignored. Maybe the questions were computer-driven and the program couldn't answer any questions? She thought about the one she just got asked. Romantically? A person? In real life again, right? Her mind went to the one girlfriend she used to have. What made her let down her guard and trust this person? "Close my age. I am not one for a big age gap. I like honest people, honesty is important. I like smart ones, not exactly school smart, just someone who can tell when they're wrong and can appreciate learning new things from each other. Someone clever and a little spontaneous. I like emotions, so I guess someone who is able to show me they care and be open to people about dating someone. Respect is important. We are equals and they need to know that, respect my decisions, my feelings, just like I will always respect theirs. I like people who know when I am upset, so I guess someone who pays attention. I need someone who supports me in my goals,
my destination and is interested in my life. Not that my life is any kind of interesting. I'd love a woman who likes to show me off sometimes and keep me to herself other times. She should accept my flaws, but not ignore them. I am willing to grow, but not change all of me to be perfect for someone. Very important, I need someone who is not running away but will talk to me and try to fix problems instead of suddenly going distant or even breaking up. Communication is important. And sexy."
"This question can be skipped, but it's most essential to my study so I'd prefer an honest answer. Know that you're in a safe place here with me, no one else will ever have to know. Do you have any physical/mental disabilities? Any traumas?"
Safe place. Alycia almost laughed out loud. The internet wasn't a safe place. She knew that. She was one of the reasons that it wasn't. Where would traumas even come from these days? Ordering 3 instead of 4 pairs of shoes online and having to wait another day for the 4th pair to be delivered? "No."
"What gaming genre do you prefer to play when feeding your addiction?"
Now a smile crept onto Alycia's lips. She was already expecting this question and was ready to answer it. Hopefully, they would bring out a new crazy game that she could test. "I like a few things. I play a little MMO. Mostly I play story-driven games. Preferably one in which you have to solve some sort of mystery, maybe escape somewhere while doing so. I like a story where the plot is revealed bit after bit and leaves me wondering 'why, what, how, when'. I like when those games involve puzzles. Like walking around and figuring out where to go, what to get. I love when the games come with some fights, mostly if I can fight with some sort of magic instead of only weapons. I enjoy open worlds and character creation. I like when you can play co-op or do it on your own. Quests are my thing, I need someone to set me goals. Preferably, different ones, not always the same old game-play. In-game lore is important. I hope that answers it."
"Share some of your history with me."
Alycia started to chew on her inner cheek now. History? What was there big to tell? "I have a mother, I have a father, we chat sometimes. I'm an only child. I grew up like a normal kid, lived like a normal kid. I have a bunch of online friends that I sometimes see live when we video chat for gaming rounds. I was good in school. I have a decent college education. Really, my life is a boring story to tell. The most interesting thing about my history is that I learned how to ride a bike and that I actually had a real book in my hands. Very interesting, eh?"
"Your strengths?"
Alycia sighed. This felt like a job interview and she always hated these sections of them. "I'm good with the keyboard. And I am not talking music. I can hack anything, no joke. I am determined, which makes me finish what I started if I set my mind to it. I am honest, yes that's a strength. I am fast on my feet, not that this is something important at all. I think my actions through, even if they seem very sudden sometimes. I am able to think in three directions at the same time, actually. I think of myself as logical, but I guess illogical people would say the same. A trait that I like is that I understand people, I can see why they do stuff." There's actually a quote she loved that described that feeling. 'In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him.' She continued to type. "I like to think I am friendly. I am able to change my opinion if proven wrong, which is a good trait, too. I am a quick learner, I pick up on things very easily. I adapt to situations quickly. I keep an open mind to as many things as possible. And I can fight with my bare hands and feet quite alright, I'd say. I'm a really good swimmer which is amazing, considering that most people never had more than a shower."
"Your fears and weaknesses?"
There was the other question that she hated so much. "I am easily hurt in my pride. I am sometimes a tad bit too emotional. I won't let anyone treat me like their little bitch, which can cause me to look lazy or arrogant sometimes. I overreact at times, but I try to work on that. As for fears... I am scared of being cheated on in any way by a lover (haha, not really likely to even have one), friends, family or my boss during promotion time. I am scared of being misunderstood so that people think of me differently than I actually am and I can't change it anymore. I am scared of war, I would never want to live during wartime, ever. I have a fear of losing myself. There was a time I forgot who I was and I am only slowly getting to know me again, so I am scared all that will get blown away suddenly and will leave me feeling like I don't know who this person is that is in the mirror. A rather personal fear is that I am scared of being inappropriately touched without consent - this is just irrational because people don't even have body contact very much anymore."
"What role do you play in your games?"
"This is Alexai. She is a witch, a strong one, and she is on the evil side. I like to play strong female characters that can take care of themselves."
"What do you hope to gain by participating in my game?"
Alycia blinked. She didn't even know what this game was about. She shrugged and typed whatever came to her mind. "The lack of knowing what this is about is making it hard to have realistic expectations. I am expecting fun out of it, and preferable something new to learn. That'd be cool. Hopefully, I can find some rad new people to game with."
"Is there anything I missed?"
"Yeah, to answer my question! Now what is all this information needed for?"
Alycia never got a reply. Instead, everything went black...

Note
If you have seen my writing before and caught interest or if you've seen this 1x1 and think we might make a nice pair but nothing of what I said so far seems up your alley, don't feel shy to send me a PM regardless. I'd be happy to hear about your own plot or pairing ideas. Who knows, maybe we can work something out together.
As for now, farewell, my friend! I hope that refreshment gained you some fresh perspective and creativity. Be well on your way now, it is getting dark outside soon. Safe travels! And please, do keep our encounter a secret now, will you? Most peculiar things will happen in your near future, I am certain.
