It had been years since the young Kunoichi had been back in the village, years since she had seen anyone from the original students at the academy. It definitely had been much too long since she last seen her older brother, perhaps that was why now..now things were going a little too emotional this moment. There stood Chizuru Himiko, the younger sister of Yazu Himiko in front of a small little house, her hand raising to knock on the door when it suddenly flung open revealing a young girl. "C-Chizuru?!" The females voice rang out before she was suddenly tackled down by the other. Laughing softly, Asuna gently pet the others head. "Yuki, how are you sweet child?" she asked gently as she stood the two up, her ice blue eyes slowly lifting to the figure who now stood at the door. Almost as if it triggered her body, Chizuru walked up to the male throwing her arms around his neck sobbing.
"Big brother I've missed you so much! When father had told me you had settled down and married Ayame I was so excited!" She sobbed into the other’s chest who just chuckled and continued to say that it was okay. However, the reunion was short lived for soon, another voice caused the female to turn and look with a bit of shock. "My lady, i've come to bring you home.." Chizuru couldn't help but laugh as she looked back at Kakashi. "very well, I didn't think the third hokage would want to see me so soon after getting here." She admitted with a soft pout, though the look on both her brothers and Kakashi’s faces made her nervous. "I'll...explain on the way, for now let's go." He instructed and turned, waiting for her to come along. With a small nod, the female made her quick goodbyes and took off with Kakashi.
Back in the Village, Ino and Sakura had both come running once they heard the news. It had seemed many had been awaiting the arrival of the village's newest medical ninja. As the two came passing down the road, gossiping about it, Sskura had noticed Naruto, smiling and pulling Ino into the ramen shop. "Hey you two, did you know that Chizuru is back in the village?" Sakura asked with a wide smile. Ino smirked as she wrapped an arm over Sakura's shoulders. "Yeah, she just got to the village with Kakashi-Sensei escorting her to Lady Tsunade! We should totally gather everyone up and have a welcome back party for her!" Ino chimed in with a bright smile.
Meanwhile, Chizuru now stood there, meeting her new hokage and being assigned as an official Chunin. After it was all said and done, the female came walking out with a long sigh. "So much has changed.." she groaned and stopped, looking to Kakashi as he stood there waiting. "I'm heading out to meet up with Naruto at the ramen shop for lunch, would you like to come?" His voice was so carefree and his smile was so well defined behind his mask. Kakashi was always so easy going, it made her childhood rather relaxing, especially since all she did was spend her time around those who were or had been in the Anbu.
Admittedly, she’d have loved to train under him and learn his ways..if only she hadn’t been forced to move away with her parents. Though, now was no time to think of such things and instead, enjoy the reunion with those who she would hope to see should she go with the other. “I have to admit..I’d be really excited to see Naruto again.” Her arms gave a little shrug. Though truthfully, she wanted nothing more than to run straight to the Nara Clan’s estate, looking for the one person she desired to see most.
Was it selfish of her to focus on someone she had yet to see after all these years..or would it be alright? Mentally shaking her self of the ever growing thoughts in her brain, Chizuru tucked a strand of Snow White hair behind her ear and offered an eager nod. “Yes of course I’d love to come along!” She expressed, grinning excitedly as the older male simply turned to walk in the direction of the ramen shop. With little conversation being made, Chizuru was left to let her eyes wander, admiring the shops and houses within her birth village. So much had changed and yet so much looked the same, it was amazing!
However, both her gaze and her body froze on a single figure walking relatively in the same direction they were going in. Her breath caught in her throat and excitement began to overwhelm her as she quickened her pace, unable to see the confused expression Kakashi offered. “Shikamaru?” She called out, throat tightening as if desperate to close up. “Shikamaru Nara?!” She finally shouted, cheeks flushed with embarrassment at those who had paused to look her way. She needed to see, needed to know if that was him…if that was the man she had missed so grateful, the man whose face she had forgotten.
