<Snipped quote by Source>
It’s not gone. Only we remain.
Perhaps. But you won't find it.
<Snipped quote by Source>
It’s not gone. Only we remain.
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>
Ezmeralda:And leave Existence at the mercy of people who could become even worse than the Tier Fives that have botched their turn at governing everything? That sounds like potential for failure. With us, even if you fail, you'll eventually get things right, and have endless chances to do so.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
I said nothing of governance, so do not misconstrue my words. I spoke of cultivating potential so that those you train may be left to sink or swim on their own merit alone.
*Crosses my arms*
But leave it to a child to play tyrant, let alone think that such a path is a worthwhile cause.
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>
Ezmeralda: this 'sink or swim' concept is what allows for discourse and destruction. Those who 'swim' tend to abuse their power over those who 'sink'. If you take away inability, everyone can succeed. we give them endless opportunity to evolve, to grow stronger. We amaranthine grow stronger with each passing second that this existence tests us. Amaranthine aloows those hwo would otherwise fail and die a chance to make a difference in their lives, and in others. We allow for a broken system to become complete.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
No. Your methods rob people of their true potential. It coddles them, and that is the worst poison of all, for every being on this planet is a result of that sink or swim mindset. Survival of the fittest, with those who survived being the ones with the greatest potential to bring about change. What you suggest is tantamount to treating an entire world like a child, and a sheltered one at that, for even children must eventually stand on their own.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Where are they going?
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>
Ezmeralda:
Do you side with the Tier Five, after all the amaranthine can do for you? Do you side with the tyranny of their reign, doomed to fail, and die, and suffer? Does everlasting life and the thrill of endless achievement not entice you?
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
Where is who going?
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Those creatures.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
They are specifically targeting our ships. So, wherever we are in that area.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
I see...
*Looks at the statistics with a worried expression*
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
To be honest, I have no idea who Tier Five is, so that's a no there. I side with myself. As for your "offer," eternal life is just death by another name. A ceaseless stagnation as the one who attains it loses all reason to improve, thinking themselves perfect already.
*Smiles*
The man who has everything wants for nothing right? But let's say I believe you. If what you say is true, then you shouldn't even be here should you? You should be off improving rather than flinging your power about like a spoiled brat.
<Snipped quote by Etcetera>
.. honestly, you're not gonna like this, but... we actually might need Shinji to help us eliminate this threat. statistics of all the encounters show that the one encounter Shinji was involved in had far less casualties. whatever 'friends' he has that have been helping him for a while might also prove to be useful. do you have a way to contact him?
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>
Ezmeralda:
*smiles, closes my eyes for a brief moment, then looks at you*
You honestly think that we Amaranthine are just flaunting our power as a means of entertainment?
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
You're certainly not spending time using it to improve yourself.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
I... do. Are you sure that’s the only option?
