There's a few things ideas I'd like to pitch to you all. I know this is somewhat bare bones, but at the same time, I want to see if anyone wants any of these things to happen before I even invest the energy into fleshing these out. Without further ado, let's see these ideas then.

1. Playing as a group of people in a class of a military school going about their daily lives and then suddenly being rushed to action before being able to finish their training.

2. Playing as a super modified elite soldier with special powers. Sort of like Spartans, if Spartans gained different unique powers after getting their serum.

3. For people who watched Princess Principal (an anime about spies), you're going to love this. Spies in training, secret gadgets, tragic backstories, high risk espionage missions, all in a steampunk/dieselpunk setting!

4. This one concept is more about characterization and is inspired by an old cartoon. You're drop troopers fresh out of boot in a war you barely understand. You find comfort in your comrades beside you and trust your training to keep you alive.

I like the lot of them and think a lot could probably even be mashed together based on how you feel. I'd be down as I'm basically starved for rp with my last source of it having dried up. If you do a start-up for any of the ideas, especially number 2, I'd happily join you in your shared writing project!

Honestly, after a few days, I've leaned in hard into 1. But, I've considered mashing it up with 2. Think of it like how the Spartans were trained to be soldiers after they were kidnapped from Halo.

The idea there is that there'll be a number of select students from said school who'll be part of a secret program to increase the quality of men and women that'll come from the academy. This involves 'additional enhancements' that are experimental in nature. However, as their nation is plunged into war they're hastily deployed alongside other students from the same military academy. Their lab tests have all become field tests.

I like the idea. The rushed development while having to step up to the plate in hopefully leading their classmates through the turmoil of war.

I'll be real though, if there's no one else that brings up interest, I'm going to post another interest check tomorrow for another type of RP in general interest. Just in-case, since I don't wanna keep your hopes up.

Instead of super powers of some sort like Captain America, how about guys who have been in combat one too many times and are now beneficiaries of science / technology and equipped like Cyborgs; human brains/bodies with some high speed limbs, eyes and/or ears?

Option 2 is my preferred option, but with a serious modification…

I honestly wouldn't mind this. It reminds me of a character I really liked. Fenix from starcraft, he died and was put into the cold shell of a dragoon so that he may continue to earn glory in battle.
