Tournament of the Long Hall
The Kingdom of Arcture is one with a veritable and long history, going back several centuries and having changed government multiple times. Today, it is ruled by a monarchy, the King Vanrenwald Gabrellius IV Arcture, and his order of knights and nobles. This resplendent city is seeped in history and tradition, proud of it's current dynasty having been maintained for three centuries thus far, and among it's most loved traditions is the Tournament of the Long Hall. The tourney named as such in honor of one of the kingdom's most famous knights Haltram Veyswind, when during a siege of the palace two hundred years ago during the Griffon Civil War, he alone held the line against a horde of rebels. The long entrance hall of the palace had ever since then been the place where the tournament was announced, and the finals held. As a warm season sets into Arcture, the Kingdom sees now it is soon time for the annual tournament.
So in summary, the RP is about to enter the next arc. This will include a few new additions, new available skills, and a new hunting mechanic for obtaining materials for weapons and armor. As this is intermittent between arcs, this is a good time to make a new character and join in. Furthermore...

While there are some overarching plots, knowing them is not a requirement for participation or even understanding of the events that you are experiencing.
