So, i see all of these Young Justice RP's around and all of these Young Avengers and i think to myself Why not both?

So, the idea of this is gonna be a "Feel free to go nuts" mentality to character building. Essentially, this is going to be a bunch of Younger Heroes banding together to play with the older heroes against their best wishes. Feel free to choose the following:

• A reimagining of one of the classic younger superheroes
• An Amalgamation of two younger heroes from Fiction. (E.G. Spider-Man X Superboy making Spider-Boy, or Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle X Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider making Ghost Beetle.)
• The offspring of any two heroes (E.G. Bruce Wayne and Jessica Drew's daughter, Spider-Bat, or Captain America and Wonder Woman's son, American Wonder.)
• Some combination of the three (The son of Dark Claw and Amazon)

Now, those with keen eyes have noticed that there is no direct mention of Marvel or DC just yet and that's specifically because i'm not gonna limit it to just those franchises, i'm happy to open it to something a little bigger and broader. As i said at the start, i'm happy for people to go nuts with character design. I do have a story in mind for this, but now i'm just gauging interest for who might actually be wanting to join?

Not just yet, I am very tempted by the whole non Marvel non DC comment. I love me some Vertigo comics Dark Horse Comics. I am also waiting to gauge if you get any more interest before I commit. Sorry I have a pretty busy schedule and I have to make sure I am not joining to many RPs, and still be able to do what I need to for my own career. :D

I haven't been on this site in years, I came with an urge for super powered shenanigans... and here you're saying go nuts >3> so, options 'beyond' marvel and DC? Does that include hero academia? Super crooks? Invincible? so on and so forth?

@Shoryu Potentially, depends on whether they work in the same world. I don't think My Hero Academy works because, as i understand it, its stories specifically all revolve around a world where everyone has super-powers, regardless of how minor they may be. That being said, characters from it being in this world can work.

Ohhh, I'm pretty good at tweaking things to fit if given the chance :D

That said, Academia's setting is sorta like, a couple centuries after the era that most super hero settings are in.
Most: Powers are just 'uncommon', not especially 'rare' or unheard of, but not 'literally' everywhere yet.
Academia: More people have them than not, though actual 'heros/villains' and people with powers they can 'use' in a 'super' capacity are still 'uncommon', the common populace is just weirder XD... with some furries mixed in, HOO! XD

Either way, I get whatcha mean :D

Honestly, I've found I enjoy Academia's version of 'super powers' more than the standard, since their abilities are still 'genetic' in origin, as opposed to, essentially, 'because we said so' XD... I mean, I got nothin 'against' the usual super hero themes, but the progression i've observed has still kinda ended up 'we just decided he should have more power now' in one case or another XD

Like how super-man goes from his early days, where he could struggle with two big electric cables trying to disable some doomsday device, to now where he can quite literally 'dust' a planet or break the freaking 'universe'. xD

I enjoy the 'effort progression' of academia's take on powers :D

NOW! For actual character ideas... I'm torn between two cravings right now.

1. Being the 'entertaining unkillable' character archetype, whether it's hyper regeneration, literal inability to 'die' or 'stay dead' depending on context, etc. etc. but generally they don't have other 'outstanding' super powers, they just never fucking 'die' and I get a real kick out of characters that are 'mild crazy and unkillable' XD Deadpool, Rampage, The Diesel Brothers from super-crooks [One can literally rip the other's leg off and use it to beat you with the bloody end of it, because they'll regenerate.]

2. Using the 'fundamental' version of one for all, the stockpiling and transfer effect specifically.
I will spoiler the explanation here, just incase anyone wants to avoid show context.


And since this RP mentions 'mixing' things, It could be interesting to just combine those, Abusing the 'unkillable' angle to survive the 'self destructive' levels of force that one for all can out-put onto the users body [main limitation there would be regeneration 'speed' of course XD]... and also provide him extensive insight into 'how much' power can safely be shared with allies without making them hurt themselves... Or, alternatively, the 'crazy' option of hitting an opponent with a power boost that they can't handle so they hurt themselves.

Naturally, I have other ideas if these don't work for whatever reason xD they're just the biggest on my mind at the moment :D

I am interested in this as I’ve always found the Amalgamverse interesting. I currently have two character ideas, though I may end up using a completely different character.

First is Toy Lad (a combination of DC’s Toyman and Marvel’s Iron Lad). He is a genius Japanese teenager named Hiro Okamura who learns that he will become the time travelling villain Kang the Conqueror when he grows up. Wishing to avoid this future, Hiro builds a suit of battle armour and becomes the hero Toy Lad. Hiro hopes that by doing heroics he won’t grow up to become a villain.

Second is the Crimson Bat (son of Batman and Black Widow). Born of a brief affair between the two heroes, he (named undecided) was raised in secret by Black Widow. When he became a teenager he learnt who his father was, and travelled to Gotham, becoming the new Robin. But after a fallout with his father, he returned to Russia, taking the mantle of the Crimson Bat. Recently he has joined Batman Inc and has been travelling the world as part of it, somewhat reconciling with his father.
