this looks interesting and the group we have so far seems interesting.
How would you feel about a human living in the dungeon (sort of like a squatter). If not human, I might work with a Goblin, Kobold or join Moonman as a myconid. I'm in the mood to play something small and cute.

If not that, I could see myself playing some insect-style creature. A cave crawler or giant carrion crawler, but smarter than you might expect. Something creepy and off-putting.

@Birdboy A human? It would likely not go well, you'd be an enemy in most eyes. So I'd suggest against it, I'm biased cause kobold are my favorite monster race so please do. But it is up to you to decide my guy, if you'd like to bounce ideas just message me.

I'm interested! This sounds like fun. Might have to thumb through some bestiaries first to see if I find any monsters that stand out to me.

I'm sort of thinking skeleton, wraith, or maybe a siren or a harpy. I haven't fully decided but that's a handful of my ideas so far haha.

I guess I'll jot down what I have in mind for the crew around here:

-Scri'erk: A giant arachnid, deadly predators who live solitary lives. My plan is they came here from a connecting cave and hunkered down in the Everdark. She'd be a big, scary monster who keeps adventurers out but also eats people from time to time. Not nice, but smart enough to be reasoned with. I'd say she's nothing compared to what used to live here so she's filling a niche right now.

-Snick: A kobold who got left behind when the tribe ran away. Snick grew up sneaking around and scrounging for food. A pretty quiet and stoic person but chaotic as all kobolds tend to be. Mostly just interested in shiny things and staying alive, but is a bit of a snoop.

I think it would be fun to be the arachnid. Maybe set me up as a villain, get thwarted, and then play the kobold? Or as a plot device of some sort

@Dark Cloud Yes, but that doesn't mean it thinks like you and me. Probably can't talk or if it can, not very well. It's an opportunist by nature so you're safe with it until it gets hungry.

@Birdboy If you want to go with that idea I'm behind you. Sounds like we'll have a lot of monsters dwelling deep in the dungeon. Beware the dark elves.
