Jeremy: *Voice-over* This is a story that you must see to believe. However it is not like a story you may have heard before and it striking familiarity. It is a tale that goes way different than any like it before...

...

Jeremy: *Voice-over; Con't* Welcome to Porlynn alley. An old Medieval town that Lived its lively heydays in the modern times. But it kept its Medieval time values as it was believed to be one of the last remaining thresholds of the Medieval times in Earth's history. They would from time to time tap into some Modern time values and bring in a few things that would spark a dawning of a time waiting to begin. But for the general senses of their town's integrity... they stood true to their Medieval time way of life. Now you may want to believe that with all the focusing they did to keep their old world values and customs... there was no room for any fantasy. But you would not seem to deny it... that even they had their zeal for fantasy... Fandom and Fanfiction. They believed in a opened mind of one and all. There were also some people in that town who would possess the magic touch. The zest for powers and arcane possibilities. Arcane skills. There were even books on it. Spells and the like. A Magic shop and a place for weapons that one can get to prep for battle on the outside and go hunting...

...

Jeremy: *Voice-Over; Con't* As for a local noble family... one who followed all the fabled and legendary adventures of the most famous knight who became King of England and his fellow battalion of fighters. Men who fought for a common cause and the greater good. King Arthur and the Majestic knights of the round table. This book store and beholder of the legendary tales of King Arthur was run by a family known as Lightfoot. Macie who was the mother... the head of the store. At least when it came to customer relations. But she would help hold her share. Her two sons Jeremy and Saphiroth. Jeremy was known as a tad gay. Not that he bent and gayer than a 3 dollar hooker. He was just very eccentric and very feminine which made him one who understand the dire needs of women throughout. Saphiroth... was the athletic one as he would be sent as the store's runner. Going to each customer's residence from time to time to attain a late returned book that was rented. Or to pick books for transfer leaving a new book that the customer wanted if the store did indeed have it. The store was very well respected as it was family run and believed in delivering and house calls. Believed in catering to the dire needs to oneself and to others whom were among them in town. Jessie Levinson was the smoker. But she came from one of the neighboring towns which led her a very upsetting life. She lost her family the previous years to murder and pillaging. It scarred her for life and from that... Smoking because her penance for the wrought misdeed that she was regrettably involved in and saw occur... became her reminder that she was to never forget the seedy deed she'd done and left with nothing but the haunted memories which she could not take back and undo.

The Story begins in 1980...

In the month of July...

The bookstore was named...

"The Majestic Bastion of legendary lore"...

(I hate to say it, but the above post was very confusing for me to read and I'm not sure I followed it entirely. I'll reply as best as I can. It's also NOT how most other RPs are written. We don't have a "voice-over", for one thing. And no one calls a bookstore by that name, I'm sorry.)

Cyrus was the father of the family but he was also in charge of the bookstore. The year was 1980, although one couldn't guess it by the appearance of the quaint little English town outside. He ran the store with his family and intended to pass it down to his son, just as his father had done for him years ago.

He had recently acquired a book from a dealer, one which was supposed to have been magic. Based on the age of the materials and the stylistic influences, it was certainly written no later than the 1500s, one of the last books to be handwritten in Europe after the invention of the printing press. Whether or not it was magic was unclear, but if people wanted to believe it, so much the better. Little did Cyrus know, it was.
