Moonshadow Not Dead Yet

"That was spectacular!" The dark red haired youth shouted with complete disregard to the minor injuries that had been inflicted upon herself and the half-elf nearby. Delighted blue eyes darted between each of the others. "Shall we pursue them? Teach them to not trifle with us again?"

"They're on the run, girl." Zelana glowered at the cheerful display of wanting to go after those who had already captured and bound the unarmored female. Gritting her teeth, the half-elf set her crossbow aside to press her hand into the bleeding wound left by the bolt that had struck her. At least it had struck her off-hand, the woman considered as she pondered possible treatments since she had no knowledge of the farmer's clerical abilities yet. There had been no need to discuss such matters. There hadn't really been much conversation at all.

The noble girl gave a bit of a pout, she wanted to make the bandits pay for their insult against her person. Her blue eyes shifted from the white-haired woman over to Gray. He was familiar though she couldn't precisely figure out why. Her expression shifted to one of honest consideration as she watched him over by the now-dead leader, the shouts of the others fading into the distance.

"Oi ya'll okay?" crawling up from the dirt road on his hands and knees Berrin had to wipe the sweat of his brow, pushing his hat back while giving the redheaded lady a squinty-eyed look before turning his gaze to Zelana with a look of mild concern "Oh fer fuck sakes woman, ya got struck!" the farmboy was at her side, grabbing her arm even if she protested he didn't listen "Damn it hold still." he told her sternly, muttering something under his breath a golden light spread over Zelana momentarily filling her with warmth. [Cure Wounds: 6hp]

Meanwhile Gray stepped over the bandits corpse, wiping the blood from his sword with a cloth before shoving the bloody rag into his pockets and went to rummage through the pockets of the dead bandit.

Zelana could not help but blink as Berrin scolded her for getting hit, as though she had done so intentionally. She tried to pull away when he went to grab her arm, albeit not a very thorough attempt. When the light spread her honey-brown eyes went wide. The wound sealed itself up and all she seem to do was stare with her lips slightly agape. "Th-thanks," was all she could seem to muster in the moment, caught by surprise that he was apparently a bit more than just a farm boy

Lunesea bounced on the ball of her feet, her attention diverting over to Berrin and Zelana at the farmer's display of healing abilities. She oooh'd at the revelation and gave a soft clap of her hands in excitement.

Though the dead body was the self-proclaimed leader of the small bandit gang, there was very little to be found on his person. His mace had fallen into the ground not far from his person when he was struck down by Gray and his leather armor now had a decent gash along the midsection. As for his pockets, there was a small cloth bundle of dried fruits and nuts and eight copper pieces.

Taking the small cloth bundle the mercenary simply shrugged, eight pieces of copper was better than none. Gray watched the farmer with mild interest, apparently there was more to the simple farmboy than he thought?

For now the mercenary pushed the thought aside as he picked up the fallen mace, moving past the red haired girl to throw the weapon into the back of the wagon making a bit of a racket "Eh careful ya fuck'n idiot we-" he was cut off by the mercenary who walked up to him poking the farmer in the chest "You could have gotten yourself killed, next time you open your mouth you'd better hope that swineherd charm works." in between that moment the farmer looked like he was going to hit the mercenary but he only spat to the side gruffly and nodded "Ya'll get yerselves sorted, eh an what're we doin with missy here?"

Berrin motioned towards the woman although by the way she dressed made her look like a young princess "I don't care as long as we get paid. That dwarf better be generous." with that the mercenary walked away to drag the corpse of the bandit off the road leaving Berrin and Zelana to deal with the redhead "Ya got yerself a name lady?" the farmer asked after a tenuous silence.

The redhead extended her hand to the farmer, her family signet ring still present on the forefinger. A blue stone set in a gold frame with a tiny fish etched in gold inlaid to the stone. She honestly expected him to kiss the ring, though it was unlikely that such an action would be the true result of the offering. "I am Lady Lunesea Cercus of Yartar," she announced with great exultance. "And you are?"

Nearby, Zelana let out a laugh at the girl's announcement. To the half-elf's knowledge Yartar was a small city of fishermen. Not something one should be terribly proud of, in her mind. The artificer shook her head and went about retrieving any crossbow bolts she could reuse or repair for use.

The farmer guffawed, looking at the noblewoman's hand bejeweled by a fancy looking ring "Cor, yer ave'n a gaff at me right?" Berrin looked the woman in the face with a furrowed brow beneath the brim of his straw hat "Yer a bloody fish-baroness?" it was right ridiculous, Yartar wasn't a particularly interesting place. Smelt like the inards of a fish and looked depressing most of the time.

Berrin just chuckled to himself, ignoring the hand to pat his trusty mule's flank before climbing back into the wagon. Hands white as they grasped the reigns he peered back to his guard "Oi you lot, no sense in stayin' get yer arses movin." to which the stoic mercenary in the farmer's employ nodded motioning to Zelana to follow "You," Gray pointed at the noblewoman "In the wagon, baby-sitting you isn't my job." grabbing her by the wrist he not-so-gently moved her towards the wagon "Get in." he said as more a demand than a request.
