Sorry for the long delay, I got sidetracked by a sudden offer and funding of schooling, so needed to arrange all that first.

@Neianna86 NO worries. Sorry I am interested. Is the funding for you to go to school or something of the sort or you doing funding for a school? either way, that take precedent over posting regardless of how much I enjoy your posts lol.

Yeah for me to go and no worries its no secret.
Basically you know I work as a Nurse's aide in a nursing home, right? I have steady employment there and have been given the opportunity to work on getting a higher level degree, becoming a full nurse instead of the aide I am now.
For that to happen though I have to go back to school, 2 years of studying. Normally, you'd have to pay for that yourself/get a loan with student rates or your work/boss can pay for it as an investment in you.

I basically have been given the latter, an opportunity where they pay for your schooling, unless you decide it isn't for you or you fail to keep your end of the bargain by not getting that degree, if so then you have to pay them back.

So I go to school for 1 day in the week, next to working my normal hours of my contract. In order to get the 'practical time in' they also roster in some time for school and study.
Now the past weeks have been crazy since we(another colleague and I) had been given the go head to sign up for the school expecting to start somewhere in February...however...they started sooner...like come in the day after tomorrow for your introduction and bring a letter of motivation. Here's a studyguide, a list of books you need to buy and oh the first schoolday will be the Januari 24th.

Basically I went from: Oh great we are going to go back to school to....OH SHIT! I have to get this done, buy a new laptop, books aaaaargggh! Need to sign agreements and have to get all of this done for the 24th.
I didn't even know who my mentor would be at work, but now that most of that is over and done with I can relax knowing I can go to school and focus on my studies. ;)

Wow, that sounds great I am so happy for you. I hope that you understand that I understand you new work schedule and study so I will not begrudge you late posts or whatever. Trust me, I remember having to stay up until 2AM and then wake up at 5AM for work for three years! so no issues on my part. As much as I enjoy your story telling I want you to not be drained. So I will faithfully wait any crumb even if it is small. But honestly, congratulations and wishing you the best!

So I have a question, do you feel overburden and that you are basically shouldering all the world building? If so, my apologies. I don't mean to seem lazy it is just seems that you have a very clear concept and I don't want to clash with it. I do try to fill in small pockets but have not truly tackled any world permanent items. Thoughts?

It's no problem, but should you want to work something out yourself or have a storyline and bits of lore to bring to the table by all means bring it.

I just had to give you a little impression in what the Tahjai will be like, cause it won't be the last we see of him. Have to keep you on your toes aswell.

@Neianna86 Lady you always keep me on my toes. I am like always expecting you to go "And they all died...." lol. OK, I will add some lore depending on the situation. I try for mages at least.

Well I want to take you along a grand story.
To deliver good quality such as Martin's own storytelling from ASOIAF. Anyone who knows the North Remembers book version knows what a brilliant writer Martin can be. (Here's to hoping he'll finish).

Hope that post was worth the wait. I have actually been listening to GOT books. He captures simple things that makes the world seem more real not just grand battles etc. I like how he even describes the dishes and smells and such. I am a descriptive person myself.
