Dark times have fallen upon The Republic. Greed, corruption, and distrust have taken hold, not only in The Senate, but in the minds of the citizens of the galaxy. The Jedi Order is doing what it can to maintain the peace, but public opinion of the once revered order is dropping quickly, as The Jedi continue to serve a government that is becoming more and more corrupt. While The Jedi were once respected and valued negotiators, more and more often they are found on one side of a battle, rather than standing between them, and things only seem to be getting worse. As territory disputes, political warmongering, and personal grudges erupt into violence, shaking The Republic down to it's very foundation, and threatening to collapse into all out war as The Senate becomes more and more divided. It is up to those who still believe in the core values upon which The Republic was founded to restore peace, and order, before it is too late.
And in the middle of all of this, a plot to destroy The Jedi Order lurks just under the surface, will The Jedi uncover it before it's too late, or are they doomed to fail? Only time will tell.
Our story begins as Jedi Master and Council member Liam Traylan goes missing deep in the outer rim territories, while investigating ancient ruins believed to be linked to the origins of The Jedi and Sith. His former Apprentice and best friend, Jedi Knight Jayce Darkfyre, along with a team of fellow Jedi, including his new apprentice are dispatched to locate Liam and bring him back to the Jedi temple alive, and hopefully uncover the truth of the ruins he was investigating.
