>It's 6 am so I'm off to bed. Do let me know how you'd like this fight to go in general/how you'd like it to end, and I'll get on a reply when I wake up later this afternoon.
>@souleaterfan320 Just as a heads up, I'm not entirely sure how an Archangel's inherent invulnerability should treat the attacks from Shinji's scythe. I mean having it decay Grace is a minor issue, as that can just replenish over time, but I'm not sure if the scythe should be capable of harm or not.
>Not trying to lawyer this mind, I'd just like to confer a bit and figure out how physical damage here should work.
<Snipped quote by Zyx>
Ah.
So it's ore of like a physical decay, but can also have a spiritual decay effect depending on the attack. Everything here is a physical attack. You'll know the difference.

>Right, but Archangel vessels are outright unphased and immune to damage from pretty much all mundane sources, which is why I was wondering how damage should work because I don't know whether or not to classify an attack made by Shinji as mundane or strong enough to break through Lucifer's invulnerability.
>Namely this bit here:
Invulnerability - Archangels are impervious to most supernatural means, and it is completely impossible for them to be harmed by conventional means.

I will throw this bit in here:
The concept of true invulnerability doesn't exactly exist in this roleplay, considering that there are characters in this role play could be considered well past 'gods' and 'deities' of any kind.
Also keep in mind, shinji is using a weapon from his demi-god powers.

>I get that, but the concept of invulnerability in Supernatural is kind of like Superman level. Archangels have specific weaknesses that can bypass it, like another Archangel of sufficient strength or power beating the crap out of them, something we see when Alternate Michael goes to the main universe and absolutely owns both Lucifer and Gabriel. Hell, even God and the Darkness in the setting can be killed with enough effort, or weakened, or have weaknesses to things. It just becomes rather unfeasible for a mortal to do anything to them naturally.
>The reason I bring it up though is, again, I'm trying to determine whether or not the scythe would actually do much damage on its own. The decay sure, that's basically a supernatural effect, but the weapon itself I wasn't sure on. If it is a result of supernatural power though, then I'd say it could do damage and maybe cause some pain, though it wouldn't be anything Lucifer's regeneration couldn't handle. And so far as he's concerned you'd need something on the level of an Archangel Blade to kill him weapon wise.

Shinji is effectively a Demi-God of Death in his home dimension. His scythe is a direct result of that power, as it is part of him.
The attacks he is dishing out are likely damaging to any sore of deific character.
