Hi all! I'm chickadees but feel free to call me Chick. I've been on the guild for a few days now though I'm not new to roleplaying/roleplaying sites (I've been bouncing around for over 10 years now). Like all the wonderful users in this forum, I'm looking for some roleplay partners! Before all the fun stuff, I'll be listing some things about myself and what I'd like to find in a partner. Please give it a read to make sure we'll be compatible and, if we are, send me a PM!

I'm a 26 year old female hailing from the east coast, USA (placing me in the EST time zone). I work weekdays and enjoy spending my weekends with friends (when possible).
I think of myself as a semi-literate to advanced literate writing. My favorite part of roleplaying is describing the scene and my character's thoughts and emotions. I won't always give novella responses but I try to stick to multiple paragraphs. My writing style is also third person, past tense.
I can play either gender and my preferred pairings are FxF and MxM. MxF is also fine but I do have a preference for the female role (kind of a duh since that is what comes naturally). If there's any romance in our story, I typically play characters that are switches.
Going off of what I said before about describing the scene, I love coming up with plot ideas with my partners so OOC communication is a big plus for me. Further, I will let you know in the OOC discussion if I have any issues with the plot, need to take a break, or need to drop a roleplay.
I do not have a discord and have no interest in taking any discussions off of the guild, just to preface.
Also in terms of planning, I prefer to make character sheets (as simple or as detailed as we'd like). I have a preference for real life reference photos but am fine with realistic drawings or 3D renderings. I do not like the use of anime photos unless there is no other viable option (like for some nonhuman types of characters).
Have a preference for PMs but am fine roleplaying in threads.
I am fine with mature roleplays, both in terms of violence or sexual themes, and prefer to have at least some romantic elements. I can write out (in PMs only) or fade to black for sexual themes but I am NOT interested in a pure smut story. I need some sustenance in terms of plot and character development.
I understand that everyone has a life off the internet so I won't hassle you into a response.

I am 26. I reiterate this because I'd prefer my partners (and any of our main characters) to be 20+. The minimum for both partners and main characters is 18+ and is nonnegotiable. This isn't a guarantee of mature content, this is for comfort's sake.
Do not give me one-line responses. Again: no one line responses. I need some content to work a response off of. If you find you're lacking muse to form a response, let me know and we can shake up the scene! This should be assumed from my writing style but please also write in third person, past or active tense doesn't matter to me.
Please contribute to making the plot and coming up with ideas. We're a partnership here, after all. This also means that when you send me a PM, please put more than "interested in a RP?" Let me know what caught your idea, what ideas you have, preferences, ect.
If we are going to have mature themes in our roleplay, be prepared to tell me your likes and limits/boundaries. I'll be doing the same so that way we both enjoy the story.
Don't force my hand in terms of character creation, character response, or the time it takes me to respond. I always extend this curtesy to my partners and expect the same in return.

Like I said earlier, I've been roleplaying for a while and have a pretty open mind to most genres, tropes, and themes. So instead of listing everything I like, I'm going to list what I do not like. This means that you should not approach me and ask me to do any of the things listed here:

I WILL NOT DO: incest pairings; heavy fantasy or sci-fi worlds; plots with no romance/romantic elements; Master/Slave or DD/LG tropes; ANY pregnancy tropes, elements, ect.; high school characters as main characters; furries (or the less humanoid version of monster girls); omegaverse; fetishizing race or gender; fandoms (I don't know enough, sorry)
Note that I still have the right to turn down any themes that may not be listed here, this is not an exhaustive list.
This is a separate list than kinks/romantic elements in stories. Likes and limits will be discussed over PMs.

Here are some general pairings and ideas that I'd be interested in doing. I don't really have any plot ideas for these so if something catches your eye, I'd love to hear any ideas you may have! If there isn't a pairing on this list that you think I might like, please feel free to suggest it. The worst I could say is 'no' and we can try something else. :)
Roles I prefer playing are indicated with an asterisk (*). These pairings can be any gender pairing.

Monster Girl/Boy x Human*
The monster must still be mostly humanoid and their personality cannot revolve entirely around sex, being a ditz, horny all the time, ect. If you’d like to do this pairing, you must come to me with a good plot idea that has more than smut.

Forbidden pairings (based on power dynamics, their job position, or role in society, not taboo as in incest)

Okay, I lied a little, this isn't really a full plot idea but I would love to do a story that revolves around the accidental summoning of an (ideally) demonic being or releasing from their bond to a book or artifact. Who is doing the summoning and their motivation behind the action can be discussed along with where the story will go from there.

Just realized I lied again as this isn't a full idea but a general musing. Anyway, I'm looking to do a more dark, gritty, and mature take on a classic fairy tale or Disney story. This can include realer creatures/monsters or more dire consequences. By "mature" I also don't mean a pure smut story around your favorite princess. I need plot and character development. Characters will also be original but can be based on canon characters.

Time Period: non-modern
Preferred Pairing: FxF, MxM
Preferred Role: any

The prince(ss) ran away from their cushy life as heir to the throne of the kingdom to become an adventurer, as the King and Queen would never let them freely leave. Years passed and the once-royal has enjoyed their new life, even going so far as to gain some notoriety. However, news recently broke that "the kidnapped heir" was recused. Excuse me? As an only child, the legitimate heir is left with the dilemma of revealing themselves or letting the imposter do as they please.

Time Period: non-modern, fantasy?
Preferred Pairing: MxM
Preferred Role: any

War is all that Character A knows and all that their people know. It is what they are known for and every child is trained to fight from the moment they can stand. Stuck in an ever-raging battle, there is also a fierce loyalty to their country and a willingness to die. This is why Character A is surprised to find that not only has the enemy spared their life but they awake in the enemy's field medical tent. Everyone around them also treats them better and kinder than their people back home. After receiving such a culture shock, and aid from Character B, Character A's loyalties start to change.

The role of Character B is very vague, apologies. They could be someone in the medical tent, the soldier who wounded them, or an enemy general who realizes that maybe kindness can help them win the war. The shift in loyalties won't be immediate but it will be clear that Character A is a huge asset.

Time Period: non-modern, fantasy available

Preferred Role: any

Nearing the end of his life, the King (or Duke of a smaller town/region) realizes he has no heirs pass his power to after he passes. So, he does what any reasonable person does, and makes a servant in their household (Character A) their heir. Suddenly forced into the limelight, Character A must adjust to their newfound position of power and the politics and responsibilities that come with it. The decision also causes a stir among the other nobles, advisors, and those who had a vested interest in gaining power for themselves. Thankfully (or maybe not), Character B is there to help.

Another vague role for Character B. They could be another servant, happy for their friend, a trusted advisor who expected to get power for themselves, or a ruler from a neighboring kingdom who hopes to take advantage of the shakeup. This can go in a slice of life-y direction or enemies-to-lovers or anything in between.
