Alright, after some time, I finally decided to jump back into the world of roleplay! This is just a quick interest check to see if I'd have any takers for a Silent Hill roleplay. With it being Silent Hill, there would of course be mature themes, ad it would be very much a horror roleplay.
If I can get at least 3 people interested, I'll post the full OOC with the full synopsis. However, here is a little preview of the idea:
The entire town has become condemed. It is run down, forgotten. However, this makes it a hotspot for people who like to investigate the paranormal. The rumors of people vanishing or dying in or around the town, have attracted at least some attention. The town itself has been gated off, and it is technically illegal trespassing to enter the Silent Hill. State police say it is to protect people. Conspiracy theorists say it is to hide something. Most people don't care either way, if they even know the town exists at all.
Writing Style: at least a couple of paragraphs per post, perspective doesn't matter; first or third, whatever you are most comfortable with is fine. Looking to post once, maybe twice a week (I work basically a swing shift, so I can't guarentee any more than that).
You don't NEED to be familiar with the Silent Hill universe, as it is standalone taking place 50 years after the games, however you might get a bit more enjoyment out of it if you already are as I will probably write in a reference or two :)
Other Information: I plan on implementing an insanity system, as well as utilizing bonds to help keep your character grounded in reality; after all, Silent Hill can take its toll on your psyche.
