Torvin was a simple young man, who lived in a simple old shack made out of simple wood cobbled together from basic tools. He lived outside of the swampy village of Dor-Vah, a village protected by simple wooden walls. Torvin was lived a life of solitude and mostly spent his time alone, fishing in the swampy waters just below his shack. In fact, Torvin could not remember the last time he much uttered words out of his mouth, only going into the village to drop off supplies of fish and retrieving basic commodities in return. He believed in nothing but making it to the next day, for that was all there was for Torvin, fishing and surviving, fishing and surviving.

Luv, the first-born son of a regal family in the mystical village of Arianele, was destined for greatness. The village was guarded by towering wooden walls etched with ancient symbols, each one a talisman against the dark forces that threatened their land. Luv lived in the heart of the city, surrounded by his beloved brothers and parents, who were known throughout the kingdom for their grace and wisdom.

At 24 years old, Luv was at a crossroads. He felt restless, as though he were meant for something greater. Despite the luxuries of his upbringing, he was searching for adventure, a quest that would ignite the fire within him. Despite the richness of their heritage, Luv's family lived a humble life, valuing simplicity over the trappings of wealth.

His days were filled with chores and responsibilities, tending to the needs of his home and family. Yet, even as he tended to the mundane tasks, his mind wandered to far-off lands, imagining the thrill of battles won and lost, the joy of discovering unknown treasures, and the glory of making his mark upon the world.

In the quiet moments of his day, Luv would retreat to his chambers, surrounded by stacks of books, each one a portal to a new world. As he read, he felt as though he were living multiple lives, each one more exciting than the last. It was then, amidst the pages of his beloved books, that Luv realized the path he must take - to become a great adventurer, to explore the unknown and make his mark upon the world.

A storm was brewing, Torvin could sense it as he put down his fishing rod, picking up a rusty old tool box instead. Off in the distance he could just see those dark clouds approaching steadily. He frowned, he never liked how frequent this seemed to happen, and rain and heavy winds meant the village was at risk without the proper preparations. So he made his way, toolbox in hand, to warn the village of the oncoming storm and to assist in making sure things stayed sturdy enough so the winds would not break apart their homes.

He lived on the outside of the village, never talked much to any others, yet still he felt a sense of duty to the others, he owed the others his help, he owed them the few skills he had to assist the poor folks of Dor-Vah because though he was not much connected to the others he still knew what it was like to just want to survive another day. "A storms approaching, a storms approaching" Torvin hollered as he entered the center of the walled off village, toolbox in hand, ready to help in the only way he knew how.

Despite the quickly darkening skies above, Amaia felt no sense of fear as she dawdled beside the small stream, a place of both comfort and amusement for her on days like these. She had been sent out by Marius, the owner of the inn in which she currently resided, to fetch some things; along with what little she could scrounge up in terms of coin, she earned her keep by performing odd jobs and tasks like these for both Marius as well as some others who worked in the tavern directly below the inn. What with being a rather small maiden and also a fairly young one, at the ripe age of 19, as well as an orphan with no birthright, there were not too many people who were willing to provide her with gainful employment in these parts.

Although she knew she should finish collecting the items she needed with haste, in particular due to the apparently fast-approaching storm, Amaia couldn't help herself but to linger - not only did she take solace in being out on her own in nature, but she actually found the rain and so-called "gloomy" weather to be quite serene. Sighing to herself, she lifted the pail of water and began to turn tail, heading back toward the small village of Dor-Vah that she presently referred to as her home. As she entered through the walls of the town and began to travel down the main road to the inn, Amaia noticed a young man whom she had seen a mere few times in the past several months that she had been staying there, calling out to warn the others of the nearing storm. Taking a moment to observe him as their paths neared one another's, she quickly glanced away, for fear of being caught looking too long.

Torvin kept barking his warnings, making sure the whole village could hear before setting his toolbox down, making sure the walls stayed sturdy enough to weather such a storm. He sighed, not so much worried by the rain but by the monsters who liked to take advantage of such situations as these, he had hoped these walls would keep upright through these thick winds that were bound to be coming. This seemed like a bad omen to come, Torvin did not want to see this place and it's people come to harm, that one thing was for certain. He'd just hope that most others would be stashing themselves away in their huts or homes, making sure their loved ones came to no harm.

He'd hope his warning was timely and not a warning too late, he peered around shortly, spotting a fairly young lady, still out and about. Torvin called out to her loudly, wondering why she seemed to be idling so, without a worry about the oncoming danger.

"Excuse me miss! Did you not hear that a storm is brewing? Go inside with your family where it's safe! Believe me when I tell you that you don't want to be caught out here in this mess!"
