Rowan sat on her bed, backpack at her feet and her favourite jacket beside her.
And she waited.
Rowan wasn't very good at being patient but she knew if she wanted this to work, she needed to wait.

There it was.
She grinned. Pulling her jacket on, she grabbed her bag and headed for her window. Like hell was she going to live in a hell hole anymore. There was something more out there for her, she could feel it in her bones. Whatever it was, she needed to find it. She needed to find whatever was calling her.
Roe quietly opened her bedroom window and shimmed down the drainpipe on the wall of her foster home. Her boots hit the floor and she took in a deep breath or warm air. She could feel it, that pull. Her feet began to move. First a walk, then a jog, then a sprint.
