Nestled in the foggy mountains of Oregon, a sleepy little town named Camden Falls is nestled between wilderness and agriculture. In a county where the deer population far outshines the human numbers, it's the type of place where you would leave the doors unlocked and keys in the truck. The trust in your neighbors and the connection to community make it a great place to raise a family, but it also drove a lot of the younger folks to leave and seek a more exciting life.
It was the serenity that drew an outsider to Camden Falls, answering a posting asking for a medical provider to help their community after one of their older doctors had passed away. Finding a property that needed some work on the northern part of the town, the stranger bought eighty acres with a farm already on it sight unseen. Only a couple days later, there was movers and contractors there that had been hired locally to fix things up and make living more comfortable for weeks before a Wrangler was parked in the long drive.
Rumors began to swirl - who was this woman and why had she chosen to come here? Red curls, an accent from across the pond, and plenty of question marks were the only things that were for certain.
