The child nodded, wincing.

Rowan growls as if asking DO I GET A SAY IN THIS?! but he knows he doesn't.

Rowan drags himself off the couch and attempts to go over to you, but is stopped by Gracye. When she stops him, he sinks his teeth into her ankle, causing her to yelp and pull back. He limps over to you, laying down near you, but not too close. He lays his head on his paws, at an angle which he can see both you and Cicero.

Gracye gives Rowan a death glare then vanishes in a puff of red sparkles, leaving the three werewolves alone together.

Rowan remains unmoving now, watching you and Cicero. But he does speak, to both you and Cicero.

"What are we supposed to do if the Ables have Kiara?"

"What if we traded the new omega off for her?" Cicero suggested bitterly.

Rowan lifted his head. "Cicero!"

Rowan eventually falls asleep. The moment he does, Cicero slides down from the couch and shakily makes her way toward the exit of the library.

Rowan stirs, already having been woken by Cicero getting off the couch.
