Rowan nuzzles the child, licking her face.

Cicero groans and mutters a single word.

After a while of convincing, Cicero speaks once more.

"Kiara. She's dead," She whispers.

Istantly, Rowan stiffens. Now he understands why Cicero had taken so long to share the information. Grief flicks across his face butis replaced by blank emptiness.

Cicero lifts her head and looks dead at you.

Cicero knows that Rowan will not object, but he will not support her answer. She knows he won't take replacing Kiara lightly, even if he doesn't speak of it as replacement.

Rowan blinks slowly, nodding just as slowly.

"I will think about it. Take your rest, little one. We will speak again later. Akuji, a moment," he nods to you, standing and indicating for you to follow.
