There is an organization that helps out people, mainly doing service work like saving people from massive “natural” events or damage control from events that had already taken place. People like to jump to different dimensions and mess with others apparently.

I can do my best to keep it as informative and brief as I can. This big bad guy they call either Aeron or King- The name seems arbitrary- spawned from Shinji because of reasons. He wields absolute control over Amaranthine, which is this stuff that can infect people and absorb them into his hive mind, but it also makes them a bunch of other stuff too. Intangible at will, ageless, I think even just stronger than they were prior. To top it off, the guy himself is a tank.
