A (Funny) Love Story of A Man and A Mermaid
Hello and welcome to Jonisca's Love Story of A Man and A Mermaid!
Originally, I was thinking of making this a serious romance thingy, but then I thought, why not turn this into a lighthearted, funny tale instead? This could get interesting~ *winks*
Genre (if you insist): Fantasy, Human x Mermaid, Romance
Anyone is welcome to hop into the Love Story, no IC nor applications necessary (let's see how this will turn out...).
My idea is to make this something like add-five-words-to-keep-the-story-going, except this funny yet random Love Story will have to abide by these simple albeit much-needed rules:
- The story will have 2 main leads; Male Lead called Noah, Female Lead called Luna. The side characters can be named as you please, but do inform in the OOC so I can add to the Main Character List here for everybody's reference.
- Appreciate it if you say hello at the OOC and mention your participation prior to posting (not a hard rule but that will be nice).
- Please post with proper grammar and spelling, no SMS languages e.g. tbh, IMO, irl
- Minimum 3 sentences per post (you are free to write more than that)
- Please ensure there is flow and continuity from the previous post, regardless of whether the scenes make sense or not
e.g.
Roleplayer #1: Mermaid sighed. It was her first meeting with Man, and boy, was she excited to learn all about the human race. They move with their legs on the ground, they eat with forks and spoons, and their meals are cooked with fire...how interesting!

Man couldn't believe his luck. He had never seen anything like Mermaid before. Her luminous green eyes sparkled in the sunlight, and her long, flowing hair shimmered in the water. He was fascinated by her and wanted to learn more about her world. Imagine making her as dinner...
"Yuck," Man shook away the thought. That would be creepy as fudge.
- Before you jump in to post, please refer to the Character Sheet at the end of this post to sync with everyone's description (e.g. dunwanna have Noah to have thick, luscious long hair only to have him described as being bald from the beginning...you get the drift)
- There may be a chance for 2 people posting at the same time. In case that happens (hopefully not too often), the one who posted later must edit the post to ensure continuity. If, and only if, the mistake has been made and not rectified, the one whose post isn't the one that is being continued will have to be striked through (this will help me know the number of times this error occurs).

General Ideas on Characters:
Note: I will not attach photos or describe how the character looks like (yet) and will just see how the story goes and add on to the character sheet from thereon. The idea is that I don't want to set the characters' personalities in stone so that there's more room for you peeps to play around with them characters. Of course, suggestions to improve the character sheet are most welcome.
MALE LEAD: Noah Gray
Personality:
- Curious minded
- Adventurer at heart
- Kind and funny
- Can be sensitive to people's needs
- Thinks before he acts or speaks, not rash
FEMALE LEAD: Luna Bluefin
Personality:
- Cute in looks and also character
- Can be an airhead and blur at times
- Will fight and die for people she cares strongly
- Introverted
- Hopeless romantic

This is my first time being a GM so I welcome ideas to improve the flow, story, basically anything goes to make this RP a fun experience for all, and apologize in advance for any shortcoming along the way.
