Considering how simple the trap had been for him to remove, "good" was not a word he would describe it as. This girl really is an idiot. She should know some Infected still are sane enough to trade information.

He continued walking, none of the traps he stepped on triggering. He had done a simple disabling spell, which is one of the few he could use without exhausting himself. Yep. Idiot girl.

Nathaniel muttered a quiet curse in his strange made-up language that he sometimes spoke in so he could think outloud. He paused at the edge of the forest, listening to her return below. He cursed in English, realizing that his tunnels were severely compromised still by whatever could have gotten in while he was away. He had nowhere to stay now, but perhaps staying with her might be useful. But it was too late. He decided to be an idiot and make camp at the forest's edge, where he could fall back to the girl's tunnels if he needed to.

Nathaniel shifted in his make-shift tent, uncomfortable. He doubled up his mask, and made sure the knife the girl had given him was secure. It was a terrible idea to sleep on the surface, but he didn't care since he couldn't go down to his tunnels until daybreak- and even then they still weren't safe probably.

Nathaniel didn't sleep a wink that night. He had stayed awake the whole time, trying to remain silent so the Infected, who were rather close to his position, didn't find him. He couldn't move without alerting them and he knew his earlier spell had completely disabled the girl's traps. Said traps would need to be rearmed, which could take hours. He was running short on supplies, and knew he needed to return to his tunnels soon.

She smiled at her wolf and put her mask on, coming out of the tunnels and going to forage for some breakfast that probably wouldn't show up, she tried to avoid as many infected as she could, only having to kill a few before she returned back to the tunnels, without any food, she sat down and sighed, she had gotten used to foodless days and nights, so it wasn't anything new

Nathaniel heard her and decided to emerge from his small camp, slaughtering around thirty Infected who had gathered in his immediate vicinity. He slowly followed the girl into her tunnels, but not before completely packing up what little food and supplies he had brought in his backpack. He watched her quietly for quite a while.

She hadn't heard him until she heard her wolf growl in his general direction, she frowned and threw a rock at were her wolf was growling, the hairs in her arms standing up straight "Who's there?"

“Yeah, it doesn’t look like it. By the way, I never introduced myself,” He offered a small smile. “Nathaniel Harvard, Uninfected,” he offered his hand, though by pure habit.

He knew she probably wouldn’t shake his hand, considering the distance between them, but he did the motion by default. His semi outstretched hand could be taken as, by the wolf, a chance to sniff him in a not strange manner.
