Fine, we'll leave then. Light said, not willing to risk Violet getting hurt. Violet petted Light more, wondering if they would ever find food in this deserted world.
Light growled and Violet calmed her and they left, light's tail lashing on the way before she stopped. Watch your mouth, nobody said I was mortal. Light snapped, Violet wondered why Pix had called her mortal, she didn't say anything for the time being.
Pix tilted her head, peering down at the wolf and the older girl. Odd. You're definitely mortal. I could kill you both, She thought, not sharing these thoughts aloud.
"Really? You seem pretty mortal to me. So does your girl," There was a bare-bones threat in Pix's voice.
Violet glared at Pix, letting Light speak first though, because both of them knew that Pix was probably powerful wit the way she was talking. Leave us alone, we didn't do anything to you. "Why did you call us mortals if your one as well?" Violet asked aloud.
Light growled instantly, it was a good idea to give false names then, she backed away to protect Violet, who also looked plenty shocked and relieved of the fake names.
Light dipped her head in thanks to the boy, stepping a bit more away, Violet still on her back as Violet studied the boy and Pix. "Hey your that boy who reset to traps!"
Violet and Light seemed suspicious, nobody gave up food anymore, because it had become so rare now, so they didn't believe that he would give them the food, hense thier suspicion.
Nathaniel went over to Pix's berry bushes, picked a few, and gently held them out to Light, so the wolf knew he was genuine. Pix wouldn't be able to stop him anyway, since he'd technically paid her for the food he was giving to them, and he had his own little farm in the caves that sustained him.
"No trick. I have a farm, and the Fae girl can't stop me," He spoke kindly.
The berries were just fine. Nathaniel stepped away, watching them while glancing at Pix sometimes. The girl didn't try anything, and he was relieved for that.
Light looked them over, wondering if they where going to attack, just then she got a wiff of infected smell, she growled loudly and backed up, Violet drawing a pistol from her bag.
Pix dropped from the tree and circled her little clearing, locating the Infected. Nathaniel drew his knife, not wanting to use magic. He kept his eyes on Pix, because even though he hated her, he wasn't letting her get Infected.
