Calm down, Light. You're making him nervous, Pix suggested, glancing at Nathaniel as he walked at a rather brisk pace. He was clearly bothered; his hands were shaking.
Light's ears perk as she held Violet, glancing at her worriedly. Her ears perked as she heard that they where almost there. 'Don't worry, we're almost there, then you will be fine.'
Nathaniel lifted his hand and the rock slid aside, revealing the mouth of a cave. It was dripping wet, but he set Pix down and entered without even glancing behind himself. He knew Light would follow, and Pix would always follow if it meant getting some debt. Even if Nathaniel meant to be good to Light and Violet, Pix would always find a way to manipulate them into her debt.
Light followed, her tail flicking with worry for her bondmate. The bond had broken when Violet had been turned, but when Violet was back to normal their bind would be strong as ever. Light knew that if she couldn't be turned back normally then Light could put herself into Violet, giving Violet a second conscious.
Nathaniel stepped past Pix, who had run ahead, and beckoned for Light to follow him down a dimly lit tunnel. The tunnel led to what he used as a spare room, filled with random items he'd collected.
She nodded and gently set Violet down into the floor, whining softly in worry for her former bondmate, she didn't know what she would do if Violet didn't make jt.
