Ryan stands at six feet tall, and has a physically fit dancers build. He has a fair complexion, and he keeps his blond hair short, and neatly styled at all times. Even when it does look messy, it’s stylishly messy. Ryan is a quintessential pretty-boy. He has soft facial features that some would find cute. He has a heart shaped face, a small nose, and large eyes, that have fairly long eyelashes attached to them. He has big green eyes, that he claims are one of his best features. His mouth is usually in some kind of smile, which shows off his perfectly white teeth. Except for his hair and eyebrows, he has no hair on his upper body. His earlobes are pierced so he can wear earrings.

For clothing, Ryan likes to dress fancy. He wears expensive designer clothes that flaunt his wealth. His fancy wardrobe mostly consists of button down dress shirts, vests, trousers, and dress shoes. He always keeps his clothes neat and tidy. His favorite color is pink, and he wears it all the time. He is rarely ever seen without some kind of hat on his head. Usually a pink newsboy hat. He also wears a lot of jewelry like earrings, rings, hairpins, brooches, etc. He also enjoys wearing scarves. He has also been known to wear makeup from time to time. You will often find him wearing pink nail polish on his fingernails.

Ryan is a drag queen. His drag persona has a whimsical candy colored fairy aesthetic. Hence her name is Fae Rae. It includes a pair of fairy wings on his back. He has no problem wearing dresses and womens clothing in day to day life even when he’s not performing.

Personality:

Ryan McPhee was born to be a star! He will not let you forget it. He works hard to get what he wants. He is the president of his school’s theater club in high school, and starred in all of the school’s productions. He grew a large social media following for his drag persona, and makes his own costumes, does his own make up and hair.

Ryan values beauty in all areas of his life. From his taste in clothes, to the people he associates with. If your one of those people that do not meet his expectations, depending on the person, he will avoid you, try to give you a makeover, or be needlessly cruel to you. As one would imagine, looks mean everything to Ryan. He can often be seen studying his reflection in any reflective surface available. He despises dirt and ugliness with a passion.

Ryan is capable of being a nice person when he wants to be. He can be friendly and charming towards others, and knows what to say to get what he wants. This is noticeable when he's speaking to someone he finds to be cute, or has taken a liking to. He will act friendly towards them, and if they are younger than him, act like a brother to them. He is also quite generous to his friends.

Background:

Ryan McPhee was born into a wealthy family in Hearthome City. They owned and invested in many businesses, and acquired a large fortune. They spend most of their time attending to their many businesses, they barely had time for their son. His parents basically threw money at him, and hoped the issue of having to raise a kid would take care of itself. Whether that was hiring the best nannies they could to take care of him, to outright giving large cash allowances so he could get himself whatever he wanted.

Of course, throwing cash at your kid is not a substitute for parenting them. Ryan grew up with a huge superiority complex, but also a strong sense of loneliness. He tried his best to win friends and influence people. He threw himself into his passions. He did all he could to suceed in order to get praise from others, particularly his parents. He even brought himself a Snubbull when the other kids around him were getting there own Pokémon.

Ryan’s goal is to be a star, and he is on his way to achieving that goal. His Drag Persona also has a large Social Media presence where he makes all kinds of videos as his character. He even does drag queen story hour at the local library for the kids. Naturally, being a drag queen has gotten Ryan some hate from certain groups of people, but he couldn’t care less. He is currently looking to becoming a Contest Star, but he eventually hopes to travel to Unova at some point, and star in a Pokestar Studios film.

Appearance:
A lithe and Petite young woman who is paler than a ghost. She has bags under her large, blue eyes from a lack of sleep and thick black hair that has plentiful split ends and desperately needs thorough combing. She had a soft, round face and is overall an attractive woman when she wants to be. Standing at a whopping 5'5, Elena is smaller than the average person but only by a few inches, but combined with her thin frame and tired, pale look makes her seem frail at times.

When Elena isn't wearing a work uniform she is usually in the most comfortable clothes she can find. Shorts, sweatpants, leggings, and skirts all have staples in her wardrobe, and these are matched with sweatshirts, t-shirts, dresses, and tank tops to match. Most of her clothing is black or similarly monochromatic, with the occasional t-shirt with a band or tv show on it. For her Pokemon adventure, however, she has handpicked a nice black pinafore dress with a white t-shirt and matching white leggings underneath.

Personality:
Elena's motto in life is 'roll with the punches' since she never seems to catch a break! Hard-working and determined, Elena is always willing to put her heart into things she cares about, but she always remains humble in her endeavor. This is a double-edged sword, however, as Elena's humility also acts as a weakness, since she can be very hard on herself and is never truly satisfied with her progress. Luckily, where Elena is hard-working, she also believes in relaxation. When she puts her mind to something she will stop at nothing to succeed, but when she is idle she enjoys the chance to breathe!

As Elena has struggled with a tough life, she is always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt to a fault. She believes everyone deserves a second and even third chance to redeem herself and is always willing to lend a helping hand, even when it will cause her to struggle. Ever the optimist, Elena refuses to judge a book by its cover and does her best to look for the 'inner beauty' in others!

Background:
When most people think of the sprawling metropolis of Jubilife, they don't think about about the struggles of the average family there. Beyond the Poketch HQ. and the Global trade station, there are also the lives of the day-to-day workers who live there. Elena was like most of them, born to two blue-collar workers struggling to make ends meet. As one of several siblings (currently 7) and having parents who worked full time, Elena did not see her parents often and from a young age took on the role of caretaker for her younger siblings. Living in a crowded townhouse together, she learned to live with a lack of privacy and cherished the closeness to her family who all cared for one another. From a young age, Elena showed interest in Pokemon, and as her older siblings moved out and got their own, her desire to have one of her own only grew. Unfortunately, Elena's luck with Pokemon never seemed to land her a clear companion. Multiple times she found herself being chased by Rattata or returned home bleeding from an attempt to get close to a Spearow.

Luck never seemed to be on Elena's side in general. Growing up always raising her younger siblings and tending to the home, she never managed to make many friends. Similarly, her hobbies and interests were never something she could truly focus on in such a crowded home. As such, much of her youth was spent working hard. When Elena became a teen, she realized she could not continue down this life and so she began working in a cafe as soon as she could. Tourists and residents alike flocked to her humble workplace, a hole-in-the-wall place wedged between the plentiful skyscrapers and buildings around it. Nevertheless, Elena was determined to make a living for herself, saving money for a chance to eventually move out, or even better: to begin her Pokemon adventure!

During her time at this cafe, after a long day's work, Elena went to take out the trash. Normally she found pesky Pokemon who would charge her for her rancid 'goods' or scavengers lingering in waiting for her to deposit another bag of trash. This time, however, she was met with a trubbish. She couldn't help but watch this thing struggle to try to tear open the bag as she sent it into the dumpster, pathetically attempting and failing to rip the bag with its fingerless 'hands'. The next day, it was there again, and so on the third day when the trubbish remained, still yet to open a bag, she brought it some of the stale bread from the cafe. The trubbish devoured the meal in a matter of seconds. Seeing how hungry the pathetic thing was, she began making it a routine to feed her new friend. Each time he greeted her pleasantly, and as she got used to his rancid stench she even began to help and play with the Pokemon.

As Elena grew older, she became more and more dedicated to her goal of becoming a Pokemon trainer. Hearing the local professor would be giving out starters to beginners on their quest, she decided she would attend the event. Unfortunately, on the train ride there, the rails were shut down due to an unexpected earthquake. Not willing to give up, she attempted to hail a cab but none would take her. Unfortunately for Elena, she was not able to attend the free Pokemon giveaway. Dejected and somber, she return to give her family the bad news. The next day, she returned to work, and despite her best efforts not even her trubbish could cheer her up. Seeing how upset she was, the Trubbish tried to follow her to work but she wouldn't let him. So when she left that night the Trubbish followed after her, still attempting to entertain and cheer up its friend. As she reached her home, she left the trubbish outside to greet her family. To her surprise though, her younger siblings had gathered money to give her a set of 6 pokeballs! Elena knew immediately which Pokemon would be her first. Now, armed with her trusty companion, an arsenal of potions and Pokeballs, and the love and faith of her family, Elena sets out to conquer the region's gym leaders and prove to the world she is capable!
