I have two pretty little ideas, so here we go!
Medieval:
A young Noble woman from a prominent English family has been brought to Court to make her social debut. Her Father sits on the King's Privvy Council, and as a child she had grown up alongside many other Noble and Royal children. The youngest of four siblings, she is fiesty and witty. There isn't much that her curious eye doesn't catch, and she knows how to hold her own - much to her Father's dismay. Naturally, she is of an age to marry and with her breeding it would be am advantageous one indeed, but she isn't playing ball. Could your male character be the one to sweep her off her feet? He could be whatever you desire. A King, a Groom, a Gardener or a Noble!! It's entirely your call. There will be mature themes and drama a plenty. We can write out the sexual scenes, or skip. I have no preference.
Modern:
Our two characters have been partners at work for three years - and the homicide department is a tight knit unit. A busy one at that. He is the more experienced, battle hardened Detective, and she's a graduate in Forensic Pyschology and Profiling who stumbled into being a Detective unexpectedly. Despite their very different approaches and personalities, somehow they just click and get shit done. And that click starts to find it's way into their personal lives as they develop feelings for one another. Adventure and smushy stuff galore.
